  • After the last race, I discovered part of the lower frame was cracked. Luckily I found it before it got too bad. We were able to get it fixed and gusseted as well. Hope you all are enjoying the content. Thanks for watching!

    Gotta love breaking stuff, frame parts are especially fun!! I broke 2 frame spars in my first race a couple weeks ago, so I’m trying to get heavy duty spars made in time for my next race!! Hopefully you’re back together and ready to go.

    That Rath bumper will brake your upper frame tabs! They’re way to strong and will not fold. I can send pictures of mine.

    Seems like this is an issue for many..not to mention the upper frame rails will break also.. the new frames have several issues from what I have seen

      Yep, you’d think Yamaha would address it but since no one else makes a sport quad, they don’t have the incentive to I guess.

    Where did you get the big bore kit for the 400ex? And should I spend the money for a big bore or sell the 400ex and add the same amount for a 450?

    • @TylerMcNabb137
      @TylerMcNabb137  Год назад +1

      I’ve never bought a big bore kit. I always buy an oversized piston and then have the oem cylinder bored at a machine shop. And honestly depends on what your intentions are. If you want something that’s reliable and a good all around machine, stick with the 400 and big bore kit. If your willing to spend more money and do a little extra maintenance or you want performance in terms of power and handling, go with the 450.

      @@TylerMcNabb137 i don’t race i just want more power since I moved to place where there’s a lot of open areas but I don’t want a 700 because I don’t like their geometry

      @@kodak5947 a 450 will definitely get you more power. If your fine with doing a tad more maintenance with a 450, then that will get you great power with some improved handling.

      He doesn’t but you can go on Waynesburg Yamahas website and they sell them on there. That’s where I ordered mine.
