Perfect sound! Just subscribed for the channel! I got 2023 230i xdrive with a base trim and ordered M-trim rear bumper kit from 240i (with a space for dual exhaust tips, hope it's doable). Is M-performance installation easy DIY job or better find a shop? Thank you!
definitely a cool idea it will def be doable just get quad tips put on, its a fun car to drive

Does it pop on downshifts at all?
how much of a difference did you notice with the resonator delete?
It makes a big difference there’s more pops without res also without res the frequencies sound higher and can be heard at a lower rpm sounds good with and without res
@@jrspliff3654 thanks for the info. I’ve got the same car and thinking about trying that first. I need a little more aggression, but aftermarket exhausts seem non existent for the 230i unfortunately
The m performance exhaust is really just a muffler, there are one or two exhausts out there but they are double the price. You can either wait and see what comes out or just start with deleting your resonators

the M performance exhaust would not void, but i think removing the resonators would void warranty relating to the exhaust which meh
@@jrspliff3654 ah I see, fair enough but only to exhaust that segment it will void not the whole engine.
From what I understand it doesn’t, but I would definitely ask around, or maybe even ask the dealer. They would have to prove deleting a resonator caused an engine problem which I don’t see happening

im not sure. you will hear the exhaust in the cabin if thats what you mean. but if u plan on doing other mods to the exhaust i would do those first before deleted resonator or secondary muffler
So this has an exhaust valve/flap in the muffler? I have a hyundai i20N and have exhaust flap as well and everyone removes a fuse in the engine bay that leaves the exhaust flap open all the time and it sounds a lot louder, it mite be possible that you can do something like this with your car? Because you think the flap is open all the time but its not it open and close the flap throughout the rev range even in sport mode.
i actually recently coded it so the flap can open and close as i choose, but thank you!
