I just bought one and it does not have the problems mentioned. This video is a year old, so I am guessing Pagani has fixed them. I am certainly enjoy mine with both the Milanese bracelet and the NATO strap. The No Time to Die black root beer colour scheme works well with the supplied black NATO strap.

@@ytrezazerty1 Correct! The PD-1685 is the corresponding model to the 300M and he should have purchased that one. What I learned is that about 90% of the people care less the brand a man wears. (Cloths, shoes, watch, etc)
In life you can opt in to pay for brand or not.
There are some items that is worth buying brand in therms of life expectancy for the item.
Like anything there items that don’t make difference in that I refer to a watch.
    Pagani is such unrated brand.
You get the same quality or better than other major brands charging 3x time.
    Is not perfect….
But hey I am no diver or pro.
All I need is solid watch that I can tell time and it’s good looking watch to match my outfit.

  • @wngimageanddesign9546
    @wngimageanddesign9546 4 месяца назад +2

The latest version I got recently of the '007' (and it's referring to the older design from Pierce Bronson 007) doesn't seem to be plagued by bezel issues, the Planet Ocean style 3-link bracelet is fine and now has a female end link design. Fits and looks better. BTW, you can easily order the factory matching rubber-nylon dive strap straight from the Pagani factory store. It's $20. PS. They now have the black-gold styled "No Time To Die" version available.
PS-2.. the 'Seamaster 300M' version with the updated wavy dial and 6 o'clock date window and 9-link Seamaster bracelet (which is done pretty well, but lacks the 007's milled wetsuit extension).
It is also rated to 200M WR. I have both models, the blue 007, black 300M, and blue-steel grey 300M. All three are excellent quality. The 300M versions have Lume for the bezel numerals and markers.
Also much cheaper from their factory store, or their AliExpress store.

For most people, the difference between 100m and 300m water resistance is meaningless. Heck even 30m to 300m is meaningless - recreational scuba divers aren't certified to go deeper than 30m, and very few snorkelers can dive deeper than 10m. 100m is hella deep!

Randy: Movie - Ghostbusters. Better Omega homage - Matic Diver 200. It has the wavy dial and some decent color options. $190. Also, Karken Octopus, $250. The Matic is a pretty faithful homage with good build quality. Based on my review of reviews, that’s the one that’s closest to an Omega, but at a “budget friendly” price point.

Great honest review! I've owned a few Pagani Design watches and they're not bad, I bought them mostly because they were cheap and I was curious. I still have two of them but don't wear them very much, will probably sell them eventually. If you want to check out some better Chinese knockoff brands look at Steeldive, San Martin and SEESTERN. Of coarse they're still not going to come anywhere close to competing with the real watches they're aping, but the quality, in my humble opinion, is a good bit better than Pagani Design. And the lume is a whole lot better too, maybe even better than the original in some cases.

Rolex is overrated, I am swiss, originally from Jura where we manufacture most of the Swiss watch and most people prefer going for micro brand or the swatch group, when you can get a Tissot PRX for less than 800 USD with a powermatic movement that's a really good deal or getting a Glycine navy seal with a sellita SW200 for less than 500 USD that's good deal also.

I've been tracking the new Bond watch for a while and even on the secondary market it's still very pricey. I'll never buy a watch for retail again. I'm not a big fan of "homage" watches; however, I do own a Tudor Black Bay GMT (Rolex Pepsi). I didn't buy it because I secretly wanted a Pepsi, it was the differences from the Rolex that I liked. I've also found that watches that MSRP at retail for $300 to $500 is a sweet spot for getting bang for the buck, Like the Tissot you own.
