We have a building house project running and the bathroom is one of my favorite things to think about when it comes to color palette, vanities, finishes and tile options. My favorite is matt black high contrast and floating vanity style. We will be incorporating all the trends in our home as we have discovered we love Contemporary styling.
i love wooden and stone colours and textures, especially the combination. Besides they look beautiful, stylish and contemporary, they give the "cozy" element to a place which was always the "cold" place with all the shiny tiles and artificial/unnatural colors and textures.
What I love about Zahira’s video is that she recognizes that the most important thing is to choose things you love, not what some designer is trying to sell you. Also her pace allows viewers to take in and appreciate the examples. Most of these design videos go so fast that they are exhausting and pointless. Thank you for a more humanistic approach.
Although I generally prefer lighter shads at home but I like dark colours in the bathrooms, I love the dark warm greys with hidden lights, maybe because it gives warmth and privacy to the space

Thank you for the video! We're renovating our 1931 Colonial house in Virginia and I'm looking for ideas on what to use in the new bathroom. It's the only full bath, so I need to keep the tub...not my favorite...but it's a must for a young family with children. Looking at glass surround, double vanity, fixtures and lighting. All great ideas in this video!

Really needed this video. Remodeling a whole house and I’m so stuck on color of faucets, Kobe the bronze/gold but love the black matte, so I think I’ll do black door handles and bronze faucets.

If you could share any recommendations or ideas you have in a video, in terms of solutions to maximizing space and materials to use to decorate the space that could be removable, i would be so grateful. Thank you for your interesting video. I'm planning a transitional bathroom remodel for my 1947 house: brown porcelain tile for floor and walls below the chair rail; black pencil tile chair rail; multicolor glass mosaic tile from Tilebar for the water wall, and a small belt of them all around the room above the chair rail for visual continuity. The fixtures are white. I'm using my mother's 1928 Singer sewing cabinet as a console vanity. I lucked into a fantastic slab of Typhoon Bordeaux granite at my local Habitat for Humanity ReStore; its colors are: cream background tones with dark pink, blueberry, and gold streaks. The granite will cover the top of the Singer sewing cabinet/vanity.

I loved the idea of invisible wall - it looks classy and makes ur space look bigger also and doesn’t wet the entire bathroom floor also.
I would like some suggestions for bathtub 🛀 to be included in my bathroom
I like the floating vanity. I am fixing my bathroom after a storm did some damage. The colors are an orange and purple color with the accents being a dark gray stone. I have watched your color scheme videos and my whole house will be purple, orange, red, sage, cream, terra cotta, blue, and white. I have not decided on the shades of these colors yet but I think they will be pretty. After watching one of your videos, I think I have decided on a dark purple for one of my walls in the living room.
another great contents again! 🤩 if my bathroom can have access to natural lights from outside i would make a vertical wide long window if not then skylight would help. if both not available i would use daylight led strip just on top of the featured wall that meets the ceiling to create artificial fake window/skylight feel to the bathroom.

Hey Zahira...another great video. I wish I had seen this before I renovated my bathroom.... so how can i convert my integrated rectangular cabinet with rectangular mirror to a circular one? 😕
Hello! Same thing happened to me, i'm crazy for a round mirror! If you want to change the mirror in your bathroom you have to see if it's possible to remove the rectangular mirror without damaging the vanity, if it's not possible forget it and enjoy your new bathroom. In my personal case, I decided to leave the rectangular mirror because it really looked very good in my bathroom, I'm thinking of including the round mirror in my living room, the round mirrors are a welcome trend in any space.

I actually have small bathroom and want gray/wooden look, gray tails it's easy to find, but not sure where to get wooden look without using tails -they don't look like wood, or wood, as it's not the best for bathroom....what should I use? I have just moved from a very large six bedroom house to a very tiny two-bedroom apartment I just feel like I'm sitting in the middle of the ocean and all I see is water when I see these walls🤣! They won't even let me paint. I am going to send you pictures of the rooms none of the furniture in any of them I'm going to keep I just bought those things here to be comfortable until I can decide how I want to make it nice. The rooms are pretty Square at least the bedrooms and living room are. So for the most part this is a blank canvas. And the color of the walls or eggshell, and they have awful vertical blinds that they will not allow me to remove. But the way you broke it down gave me a major sense of direction

Thank you so much for your tips; about the mirror, using larger and while wall mirrors makes small room bigger; so if we use the round one as you suggested then we loose that aspect; how to balance it out? And what is you opinion about using a different colour particularly bluish in one or all the walls of shower enclosure?

We are planning for White Kitchen cabinets so we would like to go for all white in Master Bath on first floor which I liked in your video. Is it a good idea to go greyish and light grey or almost looks not glossy white in Second floor bath cabinets in children Bathrooms or is it ok to keep white cabinets all across the house

I'm not sure how I feel about the round mirrors, because I am 5'2 and my husband is 6'3 and I think a rectangular mirror gives us the functionality that we need. However, the glass screen for the shower is something we are considering for our future bathroom reno. So beautiful and functional!

Settle for a rounded rectangle mirror instead. It still has the fluidity and it breaks the rigidity as what Zahira is saying.
Great video- planning remodel. As getting older want to add grab bars, but they look too institutional. What do u recommend. Also any thoughts about taking what’s on the floor and bringing up behind the sink to break things up for a bit?

Hi I like the round mirror idea. What will you suggest for a shower tub to do what kind of drapery or shower curtains and how tall should I hang them?
First, thank you for the inspiration to go for it in every room! I prefer matte finishes too, but I am worried about the cleaning. Most advice says no matte paint in the bathroom and kitchen because it can not be scrubbed. So my question is can I use matte finishes where I can, and then go for something cleanable where I want to paint? Or is it awful to combine matte and gloss in the same room?
