Some time ago I saw Northern lights from the South West of The Netherlands, about the same longitude as London. Just had to walk 500 meters to get out of the city to where it is really dark. Views were amazing!!

We have been to Iceland over Christmas in '22 where temperature got down to -21. I agree the prices are the supermarket isn't cheap but go to Bonus they are the cheapest. Your kids are so lucky seeing the different sites you are going to. Enjoy watching your videos. Keep it up Tony
I wish you a wonderful time on one of the most beautiful spots on earth. I was in Iceland for 3 months last year with my own camper van. However, it took me 63 hours by ferry. But this ferry ride was a nice experience.
Wow beautifull, Iceland is on my bucketlist for years because of the waterfalls, i love waterfalls, everywere i go i need to find them. the northern lights are beautifull saw them 2x in finland and in zweden. What a great memories youre making for the kids. Loved it. See you nex week.

I was in Iceland 5 years ago in December and it had snowed the day we arrived. It was SO cold the only part of me not covered up was my eyes and they were "frozen" they were SO cold it was painful. We only saw the lights from the plane window on the way home but that was quite special

There has been so much about the Northern Lights and the Aurora Australis on social media I am sort of bored with it lol. I would be like your children and fall asleep. There have been lunar eclipses and I have gone for a walk but it has been too dark to see anything and it was cold .😊
Seriously folks, if you love Norway and Iceland plus campervanning, then you must come to New Zealand. We have it all, snow , ice, sunshine, skiing, mountains, lakes plus great scenery. You are missing a treat is you don't put us on your bucket list. I married an Englishman and after 10 years in England he wanted to go to NZ and refused to go back to England to live. (I loved the UK where our 3 children were born so I am neutral about where we live). Ps, I am not in the tourist business!!

We've been to Iceland twice and it's one place (as well as Norway) that both me and my wife would happily move too, it's a strange but stunning country in it's own peculiar way. I highly recommend it to anybody that listens to me drone on about it. Any where that has a knob museum has got to be worth a visit!!🤣🤣. We have also done several whale watching tours over the years but the one we did from Akureyri was by far the best with Humpback whales as far as you could see, and smell!! Akureyri also has heart shaped traffic lights, what's not to like. Brilliant country, although as you said it certainly is a bit pricey. I bet there's no overweight alcoholics living there that's for sure🤣🤣
Yes, Norway too is absolutely incredible! We loved both our trips there. Always manages to take our breath away. We did hear about 'that' museum, not quite kid friendly though 😂 Thankyou for watching x
Ok OK so the suspense you left us in after your last video was cruel but kind! What an amazing experience! Some great footage and it seems you have been very lucky with the weather. I do wonder though....what have you had to do about car seats for the kids? I always wonder with hire vehicles what happens. If indie do supply them, where do you put them when not travelling? Or maybe you don't need them in Iceland?
Hehe we didn't want to spoil it and tell you everything all at once 😂 So lucky with the weather, obviously cold, but very little rain. The hire company provided the car seats and they just sat in the front behind the swivel seats when not in use.
