yeah you can use retrobright on it we use it to restore the white on commadore amiga computers, you would paint a bit on as its gell like and then cover it with cling film and try and get so sun the UV it what make it work better so can still get it even if the sun is hidden just make sure your facing the sun
£60 for laundry was a bargain! We took a weekend package deal to Paris. On the way back to the coach my partner wanted to stop to buy a souvenir ( a key ring). By the time we got back to the coach, it was gone. We had to get a taxi to the airport but due to farmers strikes we couldn’t get through so we missed the plane. Staff at the airport were fantastic and got us on a flight to Birmingham (we’d departed from Gatwick where our car was). We had to hire a car and decided to stop at home for the night and pick up our car the next day. When we got home we realised the house keys were in the car so we had to stay with friends. Next day we pick up our car from Gatwick and finally got home. That 6 euro souvenir (cost us over £200 in taxi fares and hire car!
True a 48v system is what you want for full time life in a truck 12v is expensive to scale up for full time use a nice victron multiplus 8000va and a fogstar 48v 15 kva server battery is what you need minimum

Restobrite for uv affected thermoplastics, search the Internet for the ingredients, I succeeded in removing the yellowing from the ABS spacer between the steel roof and the popup frame on a Marina based Suntor campervan that I owned in the earlier 2000s. The restobrite also transformed a few old desktop PC cases that I'd bought from a company where everyone smoked. And that was before the workplace ban on smoking in a workplace. I have 600w solar and 400AH solar. I don’t use it really (LED lights, charge phone / iPad and Truma Gas heater) but even so it is dire in the winter or stormy weather like now and can see battery level going down and down.

PS I’m so glad to see you use the plug in correctly. So many people jam them in with the flap on the socket bent back the wrong way, which causes all sorts of problems, down the line. Some of them even come back to me, expecting me to replace the broken socket or worse, melted inlet, at my own expense! NOT happening! I give very clear instructions, including a laminated series of photographs, showing how to use them correctly and if you ignore that, that’s on you! Nice to see someone who pays attention.

if you have a inverter charger you just need the ev plug..i think victron do a stand alone lithium charger which is about 75a..maybe as high as 120amp..then just use your hook up cable as an extension because the charge points are usually just small bays..75 amps in a hour isnt too shabby considering you dont have to drive..
A cheap 960 watt 2stroke generator and two battery chargers, two fills ,one gallon petrol total will last approx ten hours. Suitable for the likes of your lorry batteries! My experience,for whatever help in may be!😊😊

greetings from shadygrove road carlisle im currently building a 5 berther and im installing a b2b/mppt charger by renogy...50a while driving..then when the van stops solar kicks in..do you know you can buy a ev charge point plug that will charge your batteries as fast as your charger will allow..you need a decent charger but its all doable..
I have a charger lead you can plug into a ev chzrging station, its not well known that the output of these stations is a standard 230v, and at less than 40p per kwh, with a decent battery chager, it can save expensive campsites every 3 days..we use this system, also you often get a coupleof hours free parking. Lithium batteries are a must, as you can hit them with high fast charging...just a thought.
Thats an expensive site for out of season! As for your yellowed cover, if you wait till the summer, coat it in peroxide and wrap cling film round it and park it facing the sun for the day it will bring it back to white.
A product called Elbow Grease will bring those covers back to white again. Spray it on and leave it for a minute or so, you’ll see the yellowing run off. Great video as always 👍

there is a youtuber called hooverlux restorations and he calls it retro brighting you use a chemical called hydrogenperoxide it needs to be at least 12% then you leave it in the sun for a few hours or use a uv light the longer you leave it the brighter it gets

Well we have a Tesla electric car, we don’t often charge at superchargers, I have used Scotch Corner hotel about 3 times to charge. Couple of months ago we were charging and I inputted the wrong reg of my car in the hotel. Well got a £60 fine and put in a £10 charge
We went to Newcastle tc to gef our daughter a bubble tea and she wanted a pupaccino for the mutt. We went over the bridge and saw an ulez sign post so i went online to pay it paid the first one on google. Got a fine thru when we got home so phoned them to tell them wed paid only to find out the web site id fone on was a scammer.. 200 pound later for 2 coffees 2 bubble teas and a pupa bloody ccino .. Never again !!!!! Lol

Went to Mercedes car dealer in Carlisle, well dressed with the knowledge of what I wanted and was ignored by sales staff for 15 mins, eventually gota test drive of 30 mins after going through the same amount of time filling out my life story. When we arrived back and said we wanted some other features to the one we tested they then lost interest and couldn't be bothered to source from another dealer or notify us of the spec we wanted coming up somewhere else. If that was their attitude to us I expect the whole Mercedes dealerships' attitude is that way.
£70 fine for going to the cinema and couldn't get phone signal to change the parking time as the movie finished later than expected. I will pick out every bit of sweetcorn out of meal.

Use magic eraser cheap and works well on discoloured plastic, Just installed Victron XS 12/12/50 it’s chucking in 50 amps.

To be fair to Mercedes, they were very good for having affordable parts for my old 811D. Wish I could have got the steering box for that, but the budget would not allow and sitting up has not been kind to it. I’m sure it won’t come out in one piece, now.

there is a youtuber called hooverlux restorations and he calls it retro brighting you use a chemical called hydrogenperoxide it needs to be at least 12% then you leave it in the sun for a few hours or use a uv light the longer you leave it the brighter it gets

Well we have a Tesla electric car, we don’t often charge at superchargers, I have used Scotch Corner hotel about 3 times to charge. Couple of months ago we were charging and I inputted the wrong reg of my car in the hotel. Well got a £60 fine and put in a £10 charge

We went to Newcastle tc to gef our daughter a bubble tea and she wanted a pupaccino for the mutt. We went over the bridge and saw an ulez sign post so i went online to pay it paid the first one on google. Got a fine thru when we got home so phoned them to tell them wed paid only to find out the web site id fone on was a scammer.. 200 pound later for 2 coffees 2 bubble teas and a pupa bloody ccino .. Never again !!!!! Lol

Try to look sterling with 200 amps or safiery for more power then you can be off grid and not tighten to extortion money on campsites in the uk . All the best love you videos
200A is close to the limit for 12V from a 13A mains plug, 100A for 24V, 50A for 48V

Went to Mercedes car dealer in Carlisle, well dressed with the knowledge of what I wanted and was ignored by sales staff for 15 mins, eventually gota test drive of 30 mins after going through the same amount of time filling out my life story. When we arrived back and said we wanted some other features to the one we tested they then lost interest and couldn't be bothered to source from another dealer or notify us of the spec we wanted coming up somewhere else. If that was their attitude to us I expect the whole Mercedes dealerships' attitude is that way.
