I work at a large shop/dealer in TX. I’m off on Wednesday’s and Sunday’s, I would love to come tour the facility if either day could be scheduled in next few months. Thanks, Kaeleb.
Will attaching a hard surface to the bottom of a 49L7TDF102 increase the bass output since some of it will not be absorbed by the carpet? If yes then what material should I use (aluminum, wood or plexi)?
Every material and cabin space will undoubtedly affect the sound in some way. We tested it in a massive room with carpet and concrete under it (mainly because that is where our studio is, and we do not want different vehicle cabin types to skew the results) this is as "neutral" an environment as we can get outside of an anechoic chamber.
I have a question off topic.I have 2 sub enclosures I'm running in my jeep wrangler.I have the stinger heigh10 radio unit n I have (2) 46cxa1800.1 amplifiers to push both sub enclosures separately I'm also will be running the audiocontrol dm810 DSP,and the Audiocontrol epicenter. Do I need to buy 2 pair of kisl's to run from the high level speaker Input to the DSP n to the epiccenter then to the amp.or getting the kisl won't be necessary? In case your asking.each enclosure holds (4)8" subs at 33hz with 2 ohm load.thanx
Yo I just received an L7S enclosure and the baffle was damaged. (which isn't the point) It took long to arrive so it'd be too much of a pain to send it back, I decided to try and fix it. in the meantime, with the sub removed from the box I realized the sub is a 2ohm sub according to my multimeter. I'm wondering how to wire it back to the box at 2ohms, everywhere I look on wiring says a dual 2ohm voice coil can either wire down to 1 ohm or 4 ohms, but the enclosure was supposed to be 2ohms?
We want to make sure we understand what you mean by "cubes." Do you mean one of the L7 square subwoofers, or do you mean the L7QB8 loaded enclosure (discontinued)?
Could i tune the passive radiator enclosure by inserting a small port where the center internal bracing is ? I noticed 2 circular holes inside , maybe 2" diameter to install an Internal port . Make it a 2nd order passive radiator loaded enclosure LOL
@KICKER-AUDIO yea I'm looking at the l7Ts robot in my 21 f150. Dont have enough room for a ported box under the seat . Pretty sure I have 3.5 cubic ft to work with and thought 2 10in l7Ts with a passage radiator in a sealed box would help get some more volume and keep sound quality with some good low bass
I’m trying to make the most noise possible with heavy bass shallow is my only option. L7t?? I’ll be having 2 12” speakers no matter what

can't decide if you had to pick only one which one and why?
Kicker 48TRTP122 vs Kicker 49L7TDF122
The L7T is square, so it moves about 20% more air vs. the CompRT. It also has a higher RMS.
@@KICKER-AUDIO thanks for the quick replay i think I'm gonna go square!!!
Should I get a downfiring Round 12 with radiator or the down square 12
The L7T (square) will have a higher RMS and more cone area.

I have room for a 12" rt with passive down firing or room for 2 8 inch cubes. Which do you feel will deliver more base? Thanks.

With radiators, you tune them by altering weight. We've pre-tuned these to work with specific subs. That info is on the website.
@@KICKER-AUDIO thanks for the info and the reply 💪😎👌
Do you sell a passage radiator for the l7t
Our radiators are pre-tuned for the CompRT. You can use them on other subs, but the performance may be different.
