Bro CM is a weak cation which means athu postively charged neenga by mistake negative nu mathi solli irukinga and athe madiri DEAE weak anion.
It is correct only pa....
CM is not a cation... It is a cation exchanger... It will attract cations (positive+ ly charged) molecules....
To attract cations... It should be negatively charged...
So CM is negatively charged....
