@TheHackingWeasel There's a reason why modernist and converts to orthodoxy come only in name. they are there for a short time and only cause more harm than good toward the whole of orthodoxy often we see these types enter orthodoxy and start condemning everyone and start teaching the first week in orthodoxy. nothing christian about these converts who are ruining the holy orthodoxy. they are babblers not holders of the faith.
All temptations come from our knowledge and experience of them, for no mortal can be tempted of that which they do not First have Knowledge of. Therefore beloved, take care of that which comes vie the ears or the eyes or the gossip of others..
@@OrthodoxTradition I was baptized into the Antiochian Orthodox Church this year, but the notion of the Lord deeming one worthy to repent was not brought up during the Catechism. I am a sinner, but yet I am repentant and working towards repentance daily. How am I, then, to know I am "deemed worthy of repentance" by the Lord? I'm asking genuinely.
The True Orthodox faith is very deep. I will keep it simple. Pray the prayer of St. Isaac the Syrian: "Deem me worthy Oh Lord to taste the delight of the gift of repentance." Ask God for repentance, and you will discover many mysteries. It will help you discover yourself more deeply.

How can the Lord "deem us worthy to repent"? Repentance is that which we are called to, but many are called, yet few are chosen as inheritors.
If you are a Protestant, you may not understand the depth of Orthodoxy.
