We recently moved into a house with SPRO cameras. Previous owners are now in Canada and didn't leave us the access details. Our real estate agent has also had no luck reaching them.
We're looking for some advice on how to access our SPRO camera system or fully reset the system.
    Thank you!

      Hi Chris,
Thank you for getting in touch.
We’d recommend that you contact your installer or the reseller from whom you purchased your NVR and ask them to assist you with firmware updating.
An incorrect firmware upgrade could cause the recorder to malfunction, so it is recommended to be done by an experienced installer.
If you require further assistance, please feel free to contact our support team at support@sprocctv.com

Hello how do I go back as if I'm going to do a initial set up so I can rescan the codes again please? I had to uninstall the dmss app due to having a few problems with it. Thanks for your time.

Thanks for reaching out. If you just want to add your system to your phone again using the DMSS app, you don't need to go through the initial setup process. Instead, simply follow these steps:
      1. Open the NVR's menu and go to 'Network'.
      2. Select 'P2P'.
      3. You will find two QR codes. The one on the left is for downloading the DMSS app, and the one on the right is for adding the system to your phone.
      4. Open the DMSS app on your phone.
      5. Scan the second QR code (on the right) from within the DMSS app.
This should successfully add the system to your phone.
If you have any further issues, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hello Andrea, I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your NVR's connection. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:
      1. Check your NVR's network connection: Make sure the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both your NVR and the router. You can also try connecting a different device to the same router port to confirm that the port is working correctly.
      2. Restart your NVR and router: Power off your NVR and unplug your router for a minute. After a minute, plug your router back in, and once it's fully restarted, power your NVR back on. This can help reset the network connections and potentially resolve any issues.
      3. Confirm DHCP settings: In the NVR's menu, go to 'Network' > 'TCP/IP’ and click the pencil symbol under ‘Modify’, and ensure that the DHCP option is enabled. (Then click ‘OK’ and ‘Apply’.) This will allow the NVR to obtain an IP address automatically from your router.
      4. Check the time and date settings of the NVR: Incorrect time and date settings can cause the P2P to go offline. Please ensure that the NVR's time and date are set accurately.
      5. Check your router's firewall settings: Sometimes, firewall settings on your router can block the connection to the NVR. You may need to add the NVR's IP address to your router's list of allowed devices or adjust the firewall settings accordingly.
If you've tried all of these steps and are still experiencing issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team - support@sprocctv.com.
