No, the last woman you'd expect those vocals from would be someone half her size, like Tatiana Shmaylyuk. She's a tiny thing with a huge growling voice. She must have picked it up from Floor!
Given than most of these are phone recordings, the mix is always going to favour either the drums or the higher sounds, so it's difficult to accurately capture growls. I tried remixing most of them to get the best sound I could! If you'd like to hear her better though, any ReVamp album recording she growls on she is loud and clear in :D
She really is a vocal athlete. Those transitions are flawless.

Maybe it's just me but I find that her growls are so low that they are barely audible under the instruments.

If only Tuomas could write her something like that for Nightwish. All we get is way too much instrumental and not enough power.
