Thank you Michael. I was remembering my nan who sadly passed on last year while I was abroad and so I couldn't attend her funeral. When my parents and I visited Australia this year (just before all the quarantine measures took place) I sang this to myself while watching the sunrise out of the car window. When I finished I looked across and saw my mum crying. She told me it was nan's favourite hymn, which I never knew before. I am no longer a religious person but I adore the religious music I was brought up on for the wonderful messages they convey, and this one in particular now strikes me in the heart. It's very pleasing to hear an underproduced, soulful rendition.
