She chose this hymn as well as How Great Thou Art, and I am looking for a nice version we can play at her ceremony - our townsfolk aren't reknowned for their singing so it will be more comfortable for all to play the tunes instead. I hope you have found peace in fond memories. I heard this for the first time at my cousin's wedding yesterday. We sang it just after the marriage vows, with the sun shining in through the stained glass windows. It brought tears to my eyes for the entire hymn. Really beautiful.

After officiating at the funeral of one of my parishioners today and this song was played, the whole congregation busted out crying and i had to stop the song. The emotional impact it created on everyone including myself was beyond any human comprehension. May the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.
