Today we have a unique opportunity to have a look on one of the rarest AMG cars ever built. Mercedes S72 AMG in W140 generation. Naturally aspirated V12 7.2 engine.

In fact the S72 has 7055 ccm. Just like S70. Nice video though. Keep them coming, these rare AMGs.

Yeah, according to what I read, the engines are nearly identical. The S70 puts out 496 hp, the S72 is rated at 515 hp.

@@Roddy_Zeh True. I have seen M120 E70 with 470, 496, 510 and 525 PS. And E72 with 525 and 539. Never 515 though, but maybe this is PS and HP issue? Let alone the Brunei and Pagani stages.

@@tjibbescheper720 No, it was PS too, the brochure was in Japanese, even.
But I didn't know of 539, always thought 525 was the top, in the -73 models. 🤔
I don't understand why these small differences between these versions, even wondered if that wasn't simply on paper, but in practice, all of them shared the same displacement [at least to a certain point] and ECU tune.
