Even though I am an Escanor Fan, the almight's I'm a symbol was a crit bar. Remember, many people don't believe in god or better yet people don't even recognize them. But symbol are recognized by everyone like peace symbol (a white dove), bad luck (black cat) though not many people believe but they do know what symbolizes what.

In the manga it shows a mission before they were wanted and skinny Escanor is being attacked by the Vampire Lord, who is stronger than all the sins (with Wrath being sealed) and he talks shit about one of Escanor's poems about Merlin, and Escanor burns him to ashes brutally as soon as he begins to transform. In the ending he's complaining about the vamp's words and Merlin asks to hear it, which was a cute ending.
To be fair, as we see in the latest season, Escanor gets whooped by Meliodas in his assault mode when he lets out his demonic power. The main reason he beat Meliodas was because he had his ability knows as "The one" which makes him the "definition of invincible power" as Merlin said. However, we see that he is only like that for 1 single minute so I look at it in 2 ways. Either Escanor beats up All Might in that single minute or All might uses his speed and just avoids him until his power runs out. Of course that i'm not sure how strong All Might is compared to Escanor in just over all power, but, I'm assuming that because of his injuries All Might would be pretty even with Escanor if not stronger. So I'd say All Might won this battle. That's just my opinion though! Edit: Forgot about his line that he says he didn't need the sun to beat All Might. Yes Escanor can use his power at night but it's nowhere near his power during the day time. This gives the other option, that All Might could very easily decide to take on Escanor at night which, although it can be looked at as a cowardly move on All Mights behalf, it would also be quite a smart move. Taking on your opponent at a certain time that he is weaker is always a benefit. No matter how strong you are.
All Might, even in prime, is no where near Assault Mode Meliodas. Scaling All Might’s high building feats by about 60x (that’s the power multiplier he stated in the Nomu fight), his prime punching power would be about low - medium city level. When Escanor fight Galand immediately after the sunrise, he tanks an attack from Galand that slices an entire mountain range (making it a decent margin above All Might’s city-scale potency) with so little damage it isn’t even noteworthy. If I were to put Prime All Might into the Seven Deadly Sins, his power level wouldn’t likely exceed 15,000-20,000. When Escanor first feels the sun, his power rises to about 50,000 and only increases, even using Rhitta’s stored energy at night he clocks in 20,000+. Escanor wins during the day, and at night if he has access to his axe.
Ethan Hogan your exaggerating galands attack power. Yes garland slashed through about 3 mountains but he doesn’t destroy them completely he just sliced through them which requires significantly less power than actually destroying 3. an all might attack obliterates it’s target entirely and all might had never attacked a building directly he’s only used wind pressure damage meaning the actual destructive impact of his fist on a city is unknown.
