Also slaying a god isn’t as easy as it is to commit genocide against everyone that believes in a symbol when you have godly power. It also doesn’t even matter if they believe in a symbol or not, what is hope gonna do? The answer is nothing. If you say it might nurture future generations then the question is, can they survive the tyranny of god? And the answer is still no. Escanor could probably wipe a rebellion (or something of the sort) out with the flick of a finger if he’s at max strength. The main issue Escanor has is time, he can’t be in his prime forever, but that’s long enough to do some massive damage.

But we do know that even in All Mights weakened form he's still highly alert and has real fast reflexes, which is huge in a fight.
because its 2 different animes my first reaction would be to take into account the power scaling difference which makes the fight unfair to begin with. krillin destroying sitama from one punch man is an example of difference in power scaling. Edit: Escanor uses the power of the sun which is plasma not fire so yes he would be affected by Endevor's attacks, might be resistant but hey its Escanor he's resistant to everything and he decided that.

Krillin can spar with goku who can beat frieza who can destroy a planet. Even if this doesn't prove that Krillin is stronger than sitama it would be dumb to completely count him out of the fight. Small might is literally crippled though. Like, I don't know if you've ever fought someone with a fucked up respiratory system who randomly vomits blood but its not really difficult. And Night Escanor (presuming we're keeping the limit that he can't use his internal sun to cheese it) is genuinely willing to fight when absolutely necessary. If you've read the manga. I don't know about the anime yet since I don't keep up with it, but suffice to say he has the physical ability to beat small might and if nothing else he could literally run away and small might would suffer a heart attack trying to catch him.
