Facts, to believe that Goku struggled even beat Raditz. But after hard training with king Kai, he was able to keep up with Vegeta. Even if he didn’t win alone, the amount of effort he put in says a lot.

I have to disagree whit you on that part. King Vegeta became just a king because he freed the Sayines from the Thufs (the race who lived on planet Vegeta before the Sayin arrived) there are two story’s.
The first one was that the Thufs where keeping the Sayins as slaves and the revolution was justified but
The others story said that the Sayien wanted more
No matter the reason. King Vegeta was a Genius he was as smart a Thuf ( there where master Engineers and Scientist) he created battle tactics and some gadgets

I’m seeing a lot of people saying that Gohan got done dirty, I don’t think so. Gohan never liked fighting, the only reason he ever fought was because he wanted to protect people. Gohan literally achieved Super Saiyan 2 before Goku and Vegeta. He would've unlocked Super Saiyan 3 if he didn't stop training. Also he's able to unlock Super Saiyan God since he was one of the pure hearted Saiyans in the circle. He might have even surpassed his father if he kept training.
