Its okay to disconnect from social media. Dear God, the clarity and one of the best feelings ever.
Its not so much what I have learned abot this year, rather it is something that I've learnt about myself. When somine no longer serves a purpose in my life, then I simply move on. Even if it means unfollowing, blocking and deleting that person from my life. My mental health and well being is important 😊

In 2023 I had to face the difference between intentions and actual practice. And that self-care is NOT finding a way to soothe and recover so you can go back to working in a life that isn't healthy for you. Onward. Thank you for the reminders on integration and magic. Your work is just so beautiful.❤💕
Your description for what self- care is not is something I need to take with me into each day. It's so easy to fall into the routine of slapping a bandage on the issue, but we aren't truly healing if the next day is more of the same. We bleed ourselves dry locked into that cycle. ❤
A thoughtful video. When fearing the risk of public humiliation, I try to keep in mind the question ‘would I regret this on my deathbed?’. It’s less morbid than it sounds. The momento mori is designed to make each moment count and to be consequential in our time on earth. I wish you a peaceful New Year.
I do that too, I don’t think it’s morbid! A lot of people forget the context of time being limited.

This year I learned to trust my capabilities more from visiting the largest city in my country alone and learning how to get myself around. I learned that the type of artwork I make needs a lot more time and research to pursue than what I initially thought. Lastly, I finally set some much needed boundaries with people in my personal life. It has been so much healthier, happier, and energizing to feel freedom from the toxic energy I was receiving from these people.

Your videos capture some of the greatest Earthly expressions of beauty. I have noticed - and am glad - you have been continually growing and sharing your expressions with us :)
My main lessons have been in mindset, most namely to have faith - in people, in my life - and have been impressed to watch so many things I wanted actually happen this year, the difference being that in previous eras I had the mindset that 'they would never happen' or 'it would be hard to make it happen' or 'it must be so far away from me now'.
I have watched relationships with family heal, as I have had faith that they will come through and 'be nice' (to be general) and now I actually feel quite bonded to people who I had extracted myself from years ago, and I have moved in with my soulmate and we are having our first baby early 2024. Having faith that this would happen for me just brought it around so quickly, and proved my younger self so wrong. I would say to anyone who really wants something, if you're ready, chuck out old mindsets and believe it is for you now, and it will come faster than the old you could have ever expected.

Hi Patricia, I have been following your work for years but never commented because I never had an account. I just changed that.
What I have learned is that it is so important to embrace and accept the whole spectrum of our emotions. I had a tendency to avoid uncomfortable emotions or tell myself that others are worse of (which objectively they are) but all that which I thought was focusing on the positive or being tough or resilient was really a way to run away from parts of me and made everything worse. Embracing the shadows and walking through the dark parts of live. More nuance. Letting go and trust. More grey and being ok with that. Acceptance. Not trying to fix everything right away.
Thank you for your weekly inspiration Patricia and I wish you a peaceful and exiting 2024 with some drama and colour or whatever feels right to you in your artistic expression in 2024.

Yes. I want to focus more of my energy on trust and intuition. A little less outside noise. Your work is very special to me and I love that you are brave enough to change and also contradict yourself at times/develop/learn/change/ be honest about new insights. Aries energy just comes with that impulsivity and change. I believe you said you were one in one of your videos. I am an aries so I know the energy and also how harmful it can be to work against it.
