@DYNAMITE DJANGO , wow. There's some anger there. You make a fair point about having the same rules apply. It would be interesting to compare actual actions/violence directed to both these groups as opposed to perceptions of racism/anti-semitism. I'm not pre-judging the outcome, just saying it would be interesting to study. It is possible that people may cry anti-semitism when there is none. I think we would need a common metric. But to say stop talking about the holocaust because somehow that's hypocritical? Are we also supposed to stop bringing up slavery? The reason we need to bring these things up is so we can learn from them. We should never think we could never have another holocaust. It might not be the Jews the next time. But when you start demonizing any particular group as worthy of our animosity and violence, we could end up in the same place. That's why the current identity culture is dangerous in the US. We need to see each other as fellow Americans and not our own identity groups. Focus on our commonality and not our differences. Or allow others to celebrate our differences with us, rather than accusing others of "appropriating" things we admire.
@DYNAMITE DJANGO , Again, wow. You and Ahmed here sound like some pretty miserable people. I truly feel sorry for you both. You can have it your way. Be filled with hate, anger, malice, and violence. You will lead a very unhappy life and then an eternity of living with that decision. There are spiritual forces at work, you both are listening to some pretty dark spiritual voices and they are leading you right where they want you to go. You can hate and spew and blame everyone for everything. The spiritual voices that I listen to call me to love voices like yours and pray for you. I know, I know. You don't NEED my f-ing prayers. I got it. Nevertheless, like Jesus said, forgive them Father, they know not what they do. So go live your unhappy lives and maybe at some point, you'll understand the forces at work for your soul. It's your choice.
I just want to say also, I personally listen to non-jewish rap, but I do try to be selective. I see things like cuss words and stuff contextual, and I myself only use them contextually as well. For example, if you're dealing with toxic people on Discord, you need to get to their level for them to get your message. It's kind of like for example, I have a friend whose dad works at a school of troubled kids in a bad neighborhood, some of the kids can get violent as well. They've all grown up with respect equating fear and toughness and dominance, so while my friend's dad doesn't act like this at home, he acts like this in the school. He takes on this persona of an aggressive gang member, because it seriously the only way to get the kids to behave. This is kind of why I sometimes will use cuss words in text, because I need to get to the level of the people I'm speaking to. I rarely use it in my regular speech though, I even use very little slang. So, if you're able to distance yourself from the wrapper cussing, and seeing it as simply the expression of that particular person, and not let it affect you, then I believe it's fine. As long as you won't start cussing as a result of it, I think it's fine. What I find problematic though, are rap songs specifically talking about inappropriate topics or degrading topics, such as glorifying rape. It's one thing if they're discussing it, as most gangster rap is addressing very harsh topics, and often a way that the rest of society would deem as glorifying. Most rap songs are not glorifying bad behavior such as drug use, violence and prostitution, they are just talking about what life is like on the streets. For example, I listen to eminem, but I'm selective about which songs I listen to. There's one song of his where he's talking about following into lower soul impulse, or making a moral decision when an impulse comes up. That one is not necessarily a favorite of mine, the ones I like better is for example I think it's called breakdown. He is talking about his abusive mother, and how it's affected him. it's a form of emotional expression, and I think that's wonderful. it's one thing if somebody is emotionally sensitive to such a thing, but technically speaking, I don't see anything not kosher with a song talking about someone's harsh experiences within their life.

As someone who is born Jewish I am in absolute awe of those who choose to be Jewish. Makes you want to think hard about what it is about being Jewish that defines you that contributes to your thinking and well being.
How are you born Jewish? Can Someone be born Christian or are they raised To be Christian when they get here? Khazars CONVERTED to Judaism in the 7th century under King Kagan Bulan….what were they before then? You’re born human first and then you’re taught religion/culture.
Nissim, I am so very happy to have been introduced to you. I am thankful for you and the journey that has brought your message of self reflection and the pursuit for bettering oneself to a wider audience. I am indebted to you for the much needed reminder of the kindness and great potential mankind has to share. I hope this finds you well and many thanks to you and your family. Godspeed.

Nissim didn't just join the tribe, the tribe was his birthright he didn't just recognise it, he didn't even need to convert as the caucasian counterpart did in the 7th century. This is cool. Yes I agree with Nissim, rap is an art form (content aside). In addition to other cultural contributions, African Americans have an unparalleled record of innovation in music. They've reinvented music genres a dozen times or so. Name another culture that's done that!

@@pinochetsfreehelicopterrid8068 I’m not trying to ‘make it’ at this point, so in terms of worldly success, poorly. That said, when I was being more serious about trying to make it a career, I did alright. I had some songs that did some decent numbers, made some cash, and people-not a lot, but they’re out there!-liked the music (sometimes a lot). And so I also feel good about what I accomplished musically. Ultimately, I realized that I really didn’t enjoy a lot of the things you HAVE to do to be a successful musician, and I stopped pursuing it full time. I still feel like I improve with every song, and I love working on music. I’ve learned how to do a lot, including singing, producing, and mixing, so even when I’m not putting songs out, I often get to be involved in the process. It’s not where I expected to go, but I feel like I’m in a good place. TL;DR: Not the way I expected, but pretty well.
I really wish you could have had longer conversation where you could have gotten through to him about how rap can be a great channel to convey positive messages. Great interview, anyway.
@@Luka-zt4ju hey, you shouldnt talk about yourself like that just because you dont understand what hes saying. hes not saying to ignore things that are actually racist. he's saying that when things are ambiguous, if you view things through a lens of racism, you will see it as racist. for example, when a cop kills a black person, some people automatically scream about cops being racist, when there is no indication that the killing was racially motivated, such as in one recent example where the cop was black, too. but people just heard that a cop killed a black person and automatically assumed it was racially motivated. theyre looking for racism, so thats what they find.
Man that was seriously deep. If your looking for it, it will look for you. That could be applicable to a lot of things in life in both a positive and a negative way depending on the context. That resonates with me.
This was the best interview of my life. I love Ben Shapiro and I’m so glad that you got exposed to his viewers. The world needs to know you! You answered every question so gracefully. You are a walking kiddush Hashem. Thank you!
When he said the part about "if you don't look for it, it won't look for you" that was 🔥🔥🔥 there's no point in purposefully being offended and if everyone today did understand that our country would be so much better!
And groups like the Ku Klux Klan and the Oath Keepers can be left alone and do what they want...you seem very sympathetic toward by implication of your comment. Let's just blame the victim of racial hatred and contempt because they paid too much attention to White Supremacists folks and let White Hate groups be absolved from whatever crimes they committed on Blacks and other People of Color because these Blacks and other People of color paid too much attention to these same Racist Whites.
Nissim's perspective on the Tanakh is inspiring to someone whose ffb to revisit the stories and see that no mater the ups and down the god of the story says he'll never reject you. that's the relationship we want to have! Powerful!!!
For me... the message I get from Nissim is that you have a choice. He had plenty of opportunities and excuses to live a life of evil and victimhood but he chose a different path.
normally i do not like rap at all but Nissim is one of the few musicians who have convinced me to expand beyond my typical punk rock and hardcore music
for anyone who doesn't like rap and is maybe a bit more conservative, check out Tom Macdonald. He looks like an absolute bollock-bag, but just check out some of his songs he's very clever and doesn't talk about selling drugs, gettin hoes, making money he didn't have to work for, or shooting the police. Intelligent dude!
This was a great interview! I love seeing all this talent and positivity in our world, understanding that there are many paths in life. Regardless of who or where a person is, all paths lead to HaShem (to the Creator of the Universe) in the end! Nissim's response, "You can be very, very critical of the content," along with "In terms of it as an art form, you can use anything to be able to spread light and spread positive messages..!" Truth and Light go hand in hand, and Justice is born from these. We need more of all three in our world to bring the redemption! Nicely said, and please keep up the good work guys! Kudos! Hatzlacha rabuh to you both!
I believe Ben will go farther when he opens himself up to more experiences like this. It feels sometimes like Ben grew up in a vaccum with very few opposing opinions, or stats to back those opposing opinions. He is a brilliant mind that will continue to grow as he allows the space and an open mind for other points of view, I appreciate him being a staunch conservative, but he often comes off as particularly rigid to other view points and should adopt the more Roganesque approach of being open to new information and view points.
I agree for me I'm and African American women and Jewish I disagree with Ben Shapiro he is narrow minded my opinion I only clicked on for Nissim Black, and the online community. Nice conversation though .But Nissim was right about the disconnect and misinformation in the African American community but it works both ways.

You have a couple philosophical dudes from everywhere but for the most part it just glorifies everything I mentioned above, which has dumb people trying to imitate these guys. Those are the weak minds it corrupts. People who aren’t stupid take it as music and listen for dope bars. Half of the rappers now a days haven’t even set foot in the environments they talk about also
@Al Mitchell it’s the corporations fault that young men imitate what they hear in rap music? Why would you not put any blame on the rappers themselves who glorify gang banging drug dealing killing and pimping? They are the ones doing it are they not part of the problem also? I never said that lady Gaga maddona or Ariana grande have good moral character. Honestly I’d say you would have a better chance of getting struck by lightning, and hit by a bus at the same time than finding really anyone in Hollywood or the music industry with any moral character. Yes pop music sucks new rock isn’t good and new country is trash and new rap is shit.
Hip Hop from its creation in 1973 to now has always been a form of escape from ghettos across the world. I am thankful for you and the journey that has brought your message of self reflection and the pursuit for bettering oneself to a wider audience. Really nice to see something like this... I’m not religious but I can appreciate a grounded, truth-seeker. Especially if they’re an artist as well!
Nissim you rock bro
Respect from MC Sage. Chassidic hiphop and freestyle rap have been going strong for years. Nice interview, wish it was longer.
Nissim is a wise Jew. Much love from Israel! שהקדוש ברוך הוא ידריך את כולנו לדרך הזהב
G-d bless you Nissim. Thank you for spreading the light. You have a pure Jewish soul. So glad you joined the tribe :)
Nissim didn't just join the tribe, the tribe was his birthright he didn't just recognise it, he didn't even need to convert as the caucasian counterpart did in the 7th century. As the saying goes; "they left as Blacks (Brown) people, and return and as White (Pink) people". No offence intended. He could be the bridge to UNITE all peoples in that region of the world
@@LeThelittleOnesComeToMe Thank you! A lot of people are still in the dark about so called blacks being the Biblical Israelites. The real Jews and not converts. Ahaya's chosen people.
Great Interview, two great individuals having a chat.
Rap can be used for beautiful things, I concur
Nissim black. The amount of maturity and the amount of love in you made me your fan. I haven't listened to even a single rap of yours. But i am going to listen to it all❤️
This is cool. Yes I agree with Nissim, rap is an art form (content aside). In addition to other cultural contributions, African Americans have an unparalleled record of innovation in music. They've reinvented music genres a dozen times or so. Name another culture that's done that!
@@davysanders4922 So youre generalizing an entire group of people, based on "not as many likes for a comment as you would approve of" . Yet on other channels and subjects there are thousands of likes for despicable things. U should express your lack of approval for those millions of comments as well. Unless of course u were hinting that Shapiro crowd is racist, right? Just go back to watching the View and clapping for Joy

What a great interview, both the questions and the answers.
As a rapper, I'm super glad that he got someone who understands the music to defend hip-hop. Love it. Also, unbelievably dope track, man.
How’s that working out for you? Serious question
Aaaaand in the meantime I copped a law degree. Just because I’m not rapping doesn’t mean I’m not gettin’ fat stacks. 😂

Mad Respect for going on Ben Shapiro’s show and having a genuinely good interview
Mad respect! Intelligent views are lacking these days, and it is so nice to hear
"The more you pay attention for racism the more it pays attention to you"
So true!!
Stupid lmao.
Shall we act like we don't see injustice based on racism?
As a black person, I believe this is also true. I've encountered racism but it hasn't been the majority of my experiences at all.

Very good point... Good or Bad you'll often find what you're looking for...
Now that Ben is a #1 rapper himself, when will Nissim and Ben collab?
Nisim and Ben in the same video thats a good combination!!!
Powerful!!!

YASS! Nissim! How did I miss this same day?! WORD!
I agree but unfortunately he is a partisan hack and that is his downfall
Ben isn’t super libertarian but many republicans are
I agree for me I'm and African American women and Jewish I disagree with Ben Shapiro he is narrow minded my opinion I only clicked on for Nissim Black, and the online community. Most rap corrupts weak minds. Need more positive messages coming out of rap culture, like this man.
🤔 most rap shed light on environments most are not aloud in, so no not weak minds, only dummies repeat what they rap, most the time most rappers have a JEW manager, jew friend, or family member. East coast rap totally different than west coast and South is a who nother level.
@@cali9jm I’m not sure what having a Jew manger family member or friend has to do with anything at all but alright.... I’ve listened to plenty of rap from everywhere brotha and they all talk about drug dealing killing pimping and gang banging. You have a couple philosophical dudes from everywhere but for the most part it just glorifies everything I mentioned above, which has dumb people trying to imitate these guys. Those are the weak minds it corrupts. People who aren’t stupid take it as music and listen for dope bars. Half of the rappers now a days haven’t even set foot in the environments they talk about also
@@joey7824 humans have common sense tho, it doesn't need to be said that u can't repeat what is rapped about lol
@@chrisjoshua69420 common sense isn’t that common
Hip Hop from its creation in 1973 to now has always been a form of escape from ghettos across the world. Some people decide to be gangster, some decide to be conscious and some talk about life in their ghettos. Hip Hop has many different uses and lyrical styles that have been popular throughout the decades.
