That concert was hella fun! I'm so glad they were my first metal concert to go to! I wish I could relive the entire moment again, they did an amazing job performing as always! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
I was there, such an incredible experience! I brought along my best friend to see it with me, his only experience with A7X was Bat Country when he was a kid and So Far Away. When they played Bat Country, I saw his face light up, he later told me how nostalgic it was to hear that live. We didn't expect it since we never looked at the song list. This was the first concert I've ever been to as well, very fitting it was for my all time favorite band. I would listen to their music constantly during really rough parts of my life, theyve stuck with me for a very long time. So hearing them live was such a surreal experience, wouldn't trade it for the world. Thank you for uploading this, it's gonna be nice to look back at this in the future.
I was at that concert. I was in the pit. I drank so much I only remember about 10 minutes of it 😂 I will say I did go into my first mosh out that night and although it was crazy they were nice in there.
Matt’s voice sounds super raspy. It works really well for Unholy Confessions. Closest thing we have to the way he used to sing it. But I wonder if the raspiness is on purpose or if it’s sickness or fatigue?
jugdging by mattel's chorus you can tell it's due to the technique he uses to reach high notes. Guy's been trained by Ron Anderson who also trained Chris Cornell, and he suffered from this excess of rasp in high notes in his 40's. It will sound cool as fuck anyway in lots of situations but at some others it's kinda weird. His screams are sounding cool af with this approach tho.
I would argue its a mix of technique and being tired. For this tour Matt developed a new technique to reach high notes and rasp, but i feel like in this last weeks, he has it a bit more tough to blend his voice with the rasp, u clearly hear it when he switches. But i am glad that he has a safe technique
@@Nestorglass Since like 2018 hes been with Seth Riggs, and he trained Chester Bennington, I think its safe to say Matt definitely could've been the best singer out there if he didnt blow out his voice more than once.

Can someone who know answer me on this: does shadows use a overdrive ish effect on the vocal sometimes? its sounds like that in many of the songs. It could be his voice but im not sure tnx
Great concert but what's up with the lowkey ending? Thats how my concert ended too. They subtly leave the stage as the red lights and smoke start... then thats it. No ovation, no bow, no throwing picks and drum sticks, no saying goodbye to the crowd and letting them cheer one last time. Kinda confusing to be honest
