Taigun already looks stunning. And the chrome-removal / darkening has even made it dapper. Only alloy wheels should not have been absolutely black. Those should have been just darkened slightly. That would have made them look better for sure, I feel.
Yeah black alloys look bad. Even regular Virtus Tooline alloys look far better than Virtus GT black alloys. Taigun looks really good, it's just too small. I wish they made it big like like Toyota Hyryder. It lacks road presence.

However back in my mind I'm prepared for the issues and also I feel you are the representative on behalf of all our customers. 1. With unity we can achieve any thing by raising our voices. We need to show the brand and especially the dealers that we are united 2. I think its high time for all of us to have a fb or any other group exclusive to vw and skoda verified customers only. *Paaji....* Finally Taigun looks has graduated to VW DNA family. It looks so so very good, classy, elegant & Timeless designed both Exterior & Interior. Yes I agree with you instead of full black the earlier Diamond cut Alloy looked much better. Earlier it had mixed look - VW & Karolbaug (over use of chrome all around) Full marks to VAG team. Presently after all the extra offerings It looks worth it in the Midsize SUV segment. The best is 1.5 TSI Engine offering. According to me Skoda Kushaq's front looks way better than Taigun. But the Rear with connected LED tail lamps Taigun looks better than Kushaq. Got to thank facelift CREATA for forcing VAG to improve their overall offerings. 👍
Hi Sunderdeep would also suggest if you could make comparison or test analysis on the quality of light throw; I feel VAG brands do some crazy headlight r&d and if they don't want to give ADAS and 360 because as such these are desired features and not enough used, they should rather give front rear sensors, anti pinch, one touch, tinted glass and best in class projector throw along with improved carpet lining (for virtus boot and hood insulators). I think without the moon roof, disc brakes, 360 camera and adas these add ons will make more sense and a complete package.

One very small thing or a low hanging fruit for VW/Skoda could be is to replace the touch AC functionality with physical knobs. Its very annoying to set AC while driving.
Great content as always sirji.I am a huge fan of VW/Skoda cars especially after your reviews.I personally used to love kushaq monte carlo compared to taigun mainly because of too much of chrome elements in taigun.But i must say the new variants of taigun looks outstanding.All the points covered by you were absolutely great but one small thing which i personally dont like & which i believe you would also agree with is why is there a dummy or unusable sunglass holder??Either it should be usable or covered under the roof line which would look perfect.Even polo has it inside the glove box.

But there are issues on build quality means we are not much satified with that, the infinity tail light cracking in-between automatically. I font know why its happening, not expected we bought this as per my liking and now my father is not seem to be satisfied. VW needs to improve their service no doubt but Tata is segments below. VW mein koi kaam nahi rukega, they might take time and are clumsy and not organised but they will do the work all times. Tata simply doesn’t care.
Sunderdeep ji, after comparing most of the cars in this segment, I found the break bite of VW 2.0 cars, much better than the competition, even though they use rear drum brakes and this fact doesn’t change even at high speeds. I’m also given to understand that 80% of the breaking force is applied by the front brakes, and the rear brakes have comparatively very less role to Play, and that is why they have a much longer life compared to the front brakes. also, the break dust released by the disc breaks contributes to the air pollution, but there is no such issue with the drum brakes. Given all this, do you think that VW made a conscious effort in balancing the customer interest by providing sufficient breaking power, and the environmental impact. Bye, going against the tide and sticking with drum breaks at the rear, or is it merely a cost saving exercise?

The only reason I didn't go for Taigun was the excessive chrome. Had this chrome deleted version been available earlier, I'd have bought it with my eyes closed 😊

Hey, thanks for making the video. I have finalized this variant over chrome, it's a no brainer. Would like your inputs on the colour, I feel the white is good in the chrome variant. In this Sport variant, white rear looks too white and black, it goes well but the contrast is bit much imo. I feel this variant will look the best in darker colours or silver. Your thoughts since you saw this in person?
Sunder bhai, I'm not saying this cars aren't good but tbh creta n seltos are the ones who are/ will lead the segment as they have almost every type of option s for the customers like Petrol/turbo/NA/Diesel/auto/IMT and due to availability of wide service network, affordable service. Also road presence is where Taigun lacks but creta seltos are on top. Hence this also pulls the customers. Am i right Sunder bhai....

Hello sunderdeep ji, i recently purchased virtus GT topline variant 2 months back. One thing i noticed that when i use to turn on AC in auto mode, every time i have to turn on internal air-circulation mode on it automatically turns off autocurculation mode off and outside air use to come inside, I asked this question at the time of first inspection at service center and checked other car also and found the same. Please check this in your cars. I also have honda city in that car it dose not happen and i checked other cars also. Can you please tell why is it so and is their any solution for this because every time i have to switchon internal air circulation mode on while pressing auto mode.
This is same in all of VW 2.0 cars. I think it's designed like that because recirculation can cause drowsiness due to low oxygen level inside the car overtime. Per manual, is recirculation only for a few minutes and then switch back to normal mode ( external air inflow)
Why there is no VW Virtus GT 1.5 MT version available? Why only GT Plus 1.5 MT Whereas in DSG both the versions are available! In Taigun MT both GT and GT Plus are available!

Why there is no double barrel headlight in taigun gt plus sports , can additional light be installed in that dummy barrel , recently i got mine taigun setup looks aesthetically pleasing but only when lights are off , when i turn it in it looks kind of cool odd. Can light be installed in that empty barrel

Interiors should have been white except seats. Any changes in engine & suspension tuning especially in 1.5DSG? Mileage? Nice video. Fantastic white Colour with black exteriors. Personally like the earlier alloy wheels instead of the black out ones.

They should do something about ac controls , break noise , inbuilt dash cam ADAs , ,front pqrking sensors and work on light I am a proud gt+ owner but then nothing is perfect however if few things are done this beast will a solid seller , music system is already done with that subwoofer added why not enhance that camera quality . Rest driving wise VW is smooth as butter .😊

Biggest issue with taigun is if you are willing to compromise on certain things you expect from SUV, then you are could go for virtus that's almost as good & even cheaper than taigun.
I bought a VW Vento 2015 (1.6 Comfortline) last year. Have been driving that car for a year now and I am absolutely in love with that engine. Now I am looking to upgrade to an SUV around 20 Lakhs. Two non negotiable for me are 1.5 Turbo and Manual Gearbox. In that category we have Create N10 and Taigun GT Plus Sport. I am super confused now, I know the reliability and build quality of VW at the same time I do want panoramic sunroof and bigger boot. Can someone help me with this decision?
Hello sir.. been following your videos for a while and i have been inspired to buy VW virtus. I live in Gurgaon and bought it from triumph VW showroom which is near to my place. Very happy with the car overall but the dealership experience has been the worst. This is my 5th car in the family but a first VW. Be it delivery, be it financing the car, i have not experienced such naive sales men and management of any car company. And its been 3 months since the delivery i have not been issued HSRP number plate. Despite my multiple complaints and follow ups the time is being wasted and they are postponing the plate further. I am concerned for my RC of the car now.
Very nice review. I got the Taigun chrome version just 2 days before launch of this model😕. The exterior looks of this model are lit 🔥. But I liked the light interior of chrome version. I am thinking of replacing front and back chromes of my car same as this 😀
Your advice is solicited. I am purchasing Taigun highline AT 1.0 through CSD. For Defence personal new upgraded version is not available. Through CSD I will save Rs 01 lac. Will it be fine if I take two airbags version or go for new by paying 01lac extra through open market
They have to give front parking sensors and disc brakes rest all are manageable I have a virtus deep black manual waited for 3 months for sedans having a front parking sensor camera is a must
They should give height adjustable seat belts and front parking sensors which is must for safety! If you are claiming the safest car in the segment it should get these basic safety features.

I have buyed i20 sportz varient this year in February just because of tight budget of 9lakh otherwise i would have definitely prefer vw skoda and they dont have sub4 meter right now. I take i20 over altroz just because of after sells and service and i believe that its my right choice because hyundai providing very good service in my city. I have ride taigun of one of my relatives and its damn 3,4 category above its handling is unmatchable. Definitely i will go for vw or skoda after sometimes and will look for there sedan cars.
Segment best structural safety, performance & driving dynamics (braking, cornering & stability) 1.5 TSI feels like Audi Q3 to drive. Elevate is slow & have different strengths like better comfort & reliability. Creta is a pathetic vehicle in structural construction. Resale & support is great. Features loaded, size & diesel are some advantages.

So, from a business perspective, yes your profit might decrease by 1 lakh per car but you might sell 4 times the current volume

I have taigun comfortline silver colour which i bought 5 months ago and driven 20k kilometres in just 5 months trust me this car is just fab….

I bought tata nexon due to minor saving, but now I am regretting very much due to poor after sales service, next car will be my Skoda and VW ....
Their service is also not that good but cars are much better

Sunder bhai, I'm not saying this cars aren't good but tbh creta n seltos are the ones who are/ will lead the segment as they have almost every type of option s for the customers like Petrol/turbo/NA/Diesel/auto/IMT and due to availability of wide service network, affordable service. Also road presence is where Taigun lacks but creta seltos are on top. Hence this also pulls the customers. Am i right Sunder bhai....

Hello sunderdeep ji, i recently purchased virtus GT topline variant 2 months back.
One thing i noticed that when i use to turn on AC in auto mode, every time i have to turn on internal air-circulation mode on it automatically turns off autocurculation mode off and outside air use to come inside,
I asked this question at the time of first inspection at service center and checked other car also and found the same. Please check this in your cars.
I also have honda city in that car it dose not happen and i checked other cars also. Can you please tell why is it so and is their any solution for this because every time i have to switchon internal air circulation mode on while pressing auto mode.
This is same in all of VW 2.0 cars. I think it's designed like that because recirculation can cause drowsiness due to low oxygen level inside the car overtime. Per manual, is recirculation only for a few minutes and then switch back to normal mode ( external air inflow)
Why there is no VW Virtus GT 1.5 MT version available?
Why only GT Plus 1.5 MT
Whereas in DSG both the versions are available!
In Taigun MT both GT and GT Plus are available!

Why there is no double barrel headlight in taigun gt plus sports , can additional light be installed in that dummy barrel , recently i got mine taigun setup looks aesthetically pleasing but only when lights are off , when i turn it in it looks kind of cool odd.

They should do something about ac controls , break noise , inbuilt dash cam ADAs , ,front pqrking sensors and work on light I am a proud gt+ owner but then nothing is perfect however if few things are done this beast will a solid seller , music system is already done with that subwoofer added why not enhance that camera quality . Rest driving wise VW is smooth as butter .😊

Biggest issue with taigun is if you are willing to compromise on certain things you expect from SUV, then you are could go for virtus that's almost as good & even cheaper than taigun.

I bought a VW Vento 2015 (1.6 Comfortline) last year. Have been driving that car for a year now and I am absolutely in love with that engine. Now I am looking to upgrade to an SUV around 20 Lakhs. Two non negotiable for me are 1.5 Turbo and Manual Gearbox. In that category we have Create N10 and Taigun GT Plus Sport. I am super confused now, I know the reliability and build quality of VW at the same time I do want panoramic sunroof and bigger boot. Can someone help me with this decision?

Hello sir.. been following your videos for a while and i have been inspired to buy VW virtus. I live in Gurgaon and bought it from triumph VW showroom which is near to my place. Very happy with the car overall but the dealership experience has been the worst. This is my 5th car in the family but a first VW. Be it delivery, be it financing the car, i have not experienced such naive sales men and management of any car company. And its been 3 months since the delivery i have not been issued HSRP number plate. Despite my multiple complaints and follow ups the time is being wasted and they are postponing the plate further. I am concerned for my RC of the car now.

It’s not limited to Taigun but all cars like 700, Magnite too that use profile led light instead of individual led lights. Try to notice that.

Your advice is solicited. I am purchasing Taigun highline AT 1.0 through CSD. For Defence personal new upgraded version is not available. Through CSD I will save Rs 01 lac. Will it be fine if I take two airbags version or go for new by paying 01lac extra through open market

They have to give front parking sensors and disc brakes rest all are manageable I have a virtus deep black manual waited for 3 months for sedans having a front parking sensor camera is a must
They should give height adjustable seat belts and front parking sensors which is must for safety! If you are claiming the safest car in the segment it should get these basic safety features.
I think the car needs to be lowered by few mm. It will improve handling and the way it looks from side angle

I have buyed i20 sportz varient this year in February just because of tight budget of 9lakh otherwise i would have definitely prefer vw skoda and they dont have sub4 meter right now. I take i20 over altroz just because of after sells and service and i believe that its my right choice because hyundai providing very good service in my city.
I have ride taigun of one of my relatives and its damn 3,4 category above its handling is unmatchable. Definitely i will go for vw or skoda after sometimes and will look for there sedan cars.

Segment best structural safety, performance & driving dynamics (braking, cornering & stability) 1.5 TSI feels like Audi Q3 to drive.
Elevate is slow & have different strengths like better comfort & reliability. Creta is a pathetic vehicle in structural construction. Resale & support is great. Features loaded, size & diesel are some advantages.

Great review, no doubts that German engineering is something, VW if along with this great quality and engineering can also provide features, it can easily be segment leader. So, from a business perspective, yes your profit might decrease by 1 lakh per car but you might sell 4 times the current volume
