you are talented and I want some of your upgrades, my similar micro mini has a 75 pound max as per Winnebago for the bumper. I am convinced you could fix it if it breaks

I just did this with my Minnie Winnie. Our Minnie is a 2021 and the frame is Z channel. Taking the old bumper off was not fun...nor getting the one I fabricated back on. There is very little room for fingers and bolts between the black tank and frame. We are pulling a double jet ski trailer. I did add a sway bar to the jet ski trailer to keep the sway down.
Yeah I am going to do this. I was wanting to carry a dirt bike (2 actually). One on the back and one on the front of my truck maybe. thanks

Sure it’s strong enough. Just don’t try and go crazy with what you attach! Like you said, observe recommended limits, or improve the design yourself.

We use the tongue hitch for bikes, should’ve went with a solution like this!

I have parted out and scrapped many brands of Vintage camper trailers. Most of them had a rear hitch from the manufacturer already installed. It was designed for a motorcycle trailer, small boat (like 20 ft max) trailer, etc.
Frames were just as strong in the back as they were in the front om vintage trailers. New ones disappear in a spray of mixed materials in an accident. Old trailer just got a dent that needed to be beat out. Something to keep in mind befor you hitch up.

This is the video I was searching everywhere for. THANK YOU. Quick question, how did you attach the gas tanks and traction pads? Do you drill all the way through into the bathroom and bunk space and just bolt/seal them? How did you put the wheels on the roof? I’m so scared to drill down into the roof without knowing what I’m drilling into (electrical, the ax air ducts etc)
so, I used 1/2" self tapping screws and didn't go thru the wall to the bathroom but then I used a-lot of adhesive caulk as well. For the tires on the roof I installed them when it was about 40 degree out and I kept the Heat on 70 which recreated some condensation lines on the roof and I was able to see the rafters. Then I marked those and mounted the bracket with 4 x 2" lag bolts. i used these amzn.to/2YiTjRD. At the end of the day I want to use my camper how I want to use it. I have put about 100 wholes into my roof with solar, tires, wiring and no leaks so far. just make sure you clean the area and use A LOT of dicor

So to attach 4 bolts on each side, did you have to drill big ass holes in the side of your C channel on each side? I wonder about weakening, and how hard it is to drill such big holes in thick metal (doable just a pain).
