According to IMDb, the golden idol is supposed to be a fertility idol, and was meant to resemble a woman giving birth. Ever since I found out that fact, I can't unsee it.
Strange to see so many have ridden the Indiana ride before they saw the film. I had seen the film before the ride opened. My family rode it the day it opened at Disneyland.
When this movie came out me and my parents waited for hours in line for tickets. When I asked my dad what it was about, he gave this lame story about the Ark being this big religious symbol and so on. But when the movie opened and the entire cave scene took place, I realized I wanted to make movies. Now 11 Emmy nominations for editing later, my dream came true...all because of this film. Thanks for the reaction!!
See when people ask what is my favorite type of natural destination, this is why I told them anything BUT the jungle/woods/forest. If there's even a chance that I'd meet a big ass spider, let alone the kind with steroids (tarantulas), I'm not taking it, because I'd be in constant paranoia and will shut down on the spot if encounter one.
I wish I could watch this movie for the first time again. Such a cool movie. Can't imagine a better actor for Indy. Tom Selleck was almost Indy but couldn't get out of his contract for Magnum PI. I'd lose it with the spiders as well. I'm right there with Natalie. I remember the boulder scene was used in Chicken Little.
I find it interesting that the subtitles say that Indy's last words to the guy that went in with him were, "Adios, Satipo"....ESPECIALLY since the last words were actually, "Adios, estupido"...translation: "Goodbye, stupid".
Can I make a suggestion continue on with the movie. Rather than showing the same part with multiple reactors. Show multiple parts of the movie with different reactors. I get bored after about three reactors reacting to the same thing and move on to something else.
Maybe he didn’t know whether it was triggered by too much, or too little weight. Safe to try to get it exactly. Also, not knowing if the idol were solid gold vs gold-plated stone would complicate things.
A RUclips channel is like a business. People try to make money. Of course they will sell bs and exaggeration. Ya have to be stupid af not to understand that. The question is do you fall for it, or even do you like it?
"Is that statue holding it's own butt?" Yeah, they were freaks lmao
They told Alfred Molina to act scared when the spiders were on him, he said he didn't have to act.
Now I know where Doc Ock’s beef with Spider-Man came from
I swear, Natalie's reaction to the spiders gets me every time. 🤣
When Doctor Octopus met Indian Jones
Now we all know what Natalie gold fears 😂😂😂😂😂
I don’t suppose she will ever see Arachnophobia.
@nrkgalt nope lol but who knows 🤷♂️
@@nrkgalt Actually she did in a combo react video with VKunia. Was pretty fun, heh.
1:23 I've seen this movie a million times and never noticed that. Now I can't unsee it. 😆

If I ever meet Alfred Molina I'm going to ask him, ''So, how do you feel about tarantulas?''
LOVE IT! No idea how many times I went to the movies to see this when I was a kid.
@@TheHersheyr I hate it
The people's reactions were priceless. I love these films. Very well done. Thank you again...=)

Never have I heard, "Such a bastard" sound so cute as when Movie Munchies said it.
I never noticed its holding its butt lol
The size of Jacqui's eyes is absolutely hilarious, not to mention her wonderful makeup.. Hair, eyes, lipstick = perfect.
''Raiders of the Lost Ark'': Alfred Molina, covered with tarantulas.
''Spider-Man 2: Alfreda Molina, battles Spider-Man.
Ain't life a peach?
Natalie: Thanks for waking my neighbours. They called 911.
"Why is it moving?' It's called 'gravity'.

The spiders always get them 😂
"snakes! Why did it have to be snakes?" that is what gets them
The Mirandalorian Reacts: ''It sucks to suck!'' Lol! I love that! May I use that, should the occasion arise?

04:18 Severe Arachnophobia
Yeah, without a doubt

Satipo ís that character's name btw
@@tubbyduck5317 Except, if you listen carefully, it's not pronounced that way....
Love your comments Naveed…❤❤
I think Natalie Gold may be slightly arachnophobic... just a pinch, mind you.
Classic movie
I wonder if those spiders demanded higher pay for having to be on those smelly humans for so long.
Somehow an ancient society invented light activation sensors. That seems to me to have a bigger historical significance.
Great reactions!!😂😂❤❤
Today we learn why the phrase "spiders are a girl's best friend" never made it into American pop culture.
Just stopped in to see Whimsory at 14:41.
Hands up if you were just here for the spider reactions
None of the lady reviewers would do well with the film "Arachnophobia" ...
80% of girls arachnophobia
Snakes, why did it have to be snakes. Unknown Author
It's interesting not one of them correctly identified the creatures as tarantulas. 🤔
💯
If the statue was really gold (or at least mostly gold) it would weigh 40 to 50 pounds. That little sack of sand is probably a pound or two.
Hsve any of there people ever been to WDW?
WDW?
@@Op_Gator, (Walt) Disney World, I assume.

Ever notice how some seem to be 'too much' or exaggerated, over the top? Some here are some are not. 7 out of 16.
"I like the whip"
If the platform is triggered by too much weight, why didn’t Indy just snatch the idol and leave?
Gold is much denser than sand, so the sand was too light.

3:01. Not particularly perceptive there, Cassie. 🙄 🙄 🙄
Stop helping

Some of them have been permanently banned from my lists.
Hectic, loud, fake and annoying.
Not as annoying as your off-topic comments here …
Well at least I'm not making money out of gullible and cheap viewers.
Would have to agree with the fakes, at least with Movie Munchies and the accents. She let it slip when she said "competitor" in perfect English lol
