Parts sharing should result in tighter quality control because all share same parts and not much variations go into same components of different cars.... But here in Tata, neither the QC aspect is achieved by part sharing, nor are they giving distinctions between cars of different segments... All look the same..

tata really fumbled themselves by making the curvv have nexon's front and interior. the rear of that car doesnt compliment the front. Mahindra on the other hand has absolutely NAILED the design for these cars. they will eat up curvv like its nothing (coming from a tata fanboy)

Safari losing its sales to Scorpio (before it was discontinued Safari was sold for upto 3 lakhs cheaper than Scorpio), Sumo losing market share to Bolero, Aria losing to XUV5OO, Harrier twins failing to compete with XUV7OO, Scorpio N remains unrivalled. It's a fact that historically Tata has struggled to sell cars above the 4 meter segment. Sumo was the last volume churner for Tata while Mahindra kinda rules the D Segment b launching cars that could have rivals from even a segment above.
Agree with you buddy. Tata curvv had its concept take people by wow. But they surprised and gave Nexon facelift the elements of curvv. And thats how they made curvv launch with already seen design elements of exterior and interiors.

I think rear of the curvv is still better than anything Mahindra offers at the moment. But you don't buy a car for just it's rear end. Tata should make up for it with a proper facelift 2-3 years later that makes curvv its own vehicle rather than being a stretched Nexon

It is clear that Mahindra’s Born EVs have beat Tata’s 2 nd gen converted EV’s. I think Tata shouldn’t bother about launching another converted EV in form of Sierra. They should focus on the Born EV Avinya platform to launch a compelling product in late 2025/early 2026.

Whats the weight? With the higher energy density blade battery stuff, it should be slightly lighter than conventional ones. So why is no one divulging weight numbers? Or why isn't Mahindra telling them that?
Design is not so good. Just because it's an electric car, it doesn't have to have all those plastic which looks like it's been pasted on a toy. Car has to have a flow and running natural design. It should not look like different plastic panels and tool are stuck on it. Just see some electric cars from china.
The back is too sloping and hence uncomfortable for tall people and also feels a bit claustrophobic once roof is closed....which anyway we can't use most of the year in India. Another downer are the white seats which are extremely difficult to maintain in Indian dusty conditions. the roof lights are gimmicky and you wouldn't want to be ever using them unless you want to be branded as a chapri.
please dude India made or packaged in India. Porsche, BMW they make their products and don't package things purchased from other countries. Please Mahindra has a long way to go though they packaged a nice product.
