Was not at all thinking about an EV unitil 2 days back.. Now started serouosly thinking about considering an EV.. Be 6e changed the whole perception.. Great work by Mahindra 👏👏👏.. One thing to see in the production version are seats with better thigh support for the front and back row to give a better comfort.. Hope Mahindra will look into it..
I think Global Fiesta had variable steering ratio here in India and that had one of the best EPS units this side of a 3 series. Hope the 6e is closer to that. :)
Looks like an electric Lancia Stratos Dakar prototype. Praise can't come higher than that from a petrolhead. In one fell swoop, they've made every other car overpriced, underwhelming and outdated. That is simply a phenomenal achievement!
I think Mahindra designed these cars when EVs were booming thinking they could charge a premium. But now they have realised its difficult to sell them so they've priced them aggressively may be taking a loss.
20 to 80% charge in 20 mts on a 170KW charger is misleading, how many 170KW chargers are currently available on our highways? What we see are 50KW chargers in our highways, mentioning what time it will take to charge on a 50KW will be helpful. I ride super bikes and drive German SUVs, lately Indian OEM are doing really well, world classed products. Purchased a Himalayan 450 last Dec love it, Now BE 6E has given me reason enough to buy a car. I currently drive a Lexus 350H the touch and feel is great, which I'm a bit concerned about in the BE 6E, however, for the price like the Himalayan it is a good buy
Btw there's a 142kW charger within 600m from where I live. They'll become the norm once EV adoption increases just like Tesla supercharger network in the US
It's really good when it comes to engineering worlds best when it comes to exterior design. -But why are we using piano black every where, white interior insted of red (sporty), it will be a mess. -No button for fan and climate controls. -mahindra is a really good engineering company like Toyota and Honda. -but we are giving it away by fixings the stuff which is not broken. -Also we are proud of mahindra why use BE.
why does every electric car have to have 1. boxy design 2. sci-fi-looking rims that don't age well. why don't put in the same curves as conventional ICE engine vehicles? Like a regular Volkswagen Tiguan in electric that with the same design philosophy would also look great, why unnecessary boxy designs, fancy * funky looking lights, those screens all over, keep buttons and analog outputs wherever necessary, now a day's functionality is being killed/taken over by screens ! Even Hyundai accepted recently we are rolling back to buttons, after facing backlash/feedback from customers. car companies also know that putting good tactile feel buttons, would cost them more, and putting a screen instead of that helps them in reducing their cost. we don't need screens to put buttons with a good tactile feel. every car company nowadays don't want to invest in designing dashboards with functional keys as it would require brainstorming, and being lazy they just threw every functionality, even the climate controls on the screen. keep cars like cars, and a phone as a phone "so-called car companies be like - you can watch RUclips videos while driving but why would you require separate climate control buttons/volume buttons with tactile feel " imagine the same car with curvy looks & tactile buttons of an old Elantra / Tucson!
Aaj hi curvv checkout karne gaya tha showroom. Coupe hone ke baad bhi itni conjusted aur bekaar car hai. Curvv is just nothing but worse nexon with premium pricing.
Is the Mahindra BE 6e enough to make you switch from ICE to EV?
*ICE is ICE, EVs in India can't compete with ICE* - some used to say till 29/11/2024
Switch? No. Maybe consider owning one for a 2 car garage.

10:14 that body language that hit says a lot about how crazyy this car makes a real car lover feel !
The best guy to talk about the dynamics of a car !! Rest all just pass through…

Masculine card
Chill bro don't shout
@ TRUTH HURTS TATA FANBOYS
Tata ain't Jaguar , its Rawdy who is promoting wokeship into Jags. Don't bring Tata into this blindly .

Gutkha and pan might fall on that huge cladding when people spit out the window in India. Will need constant cleaning.

You spoke out my opinion, the firat two paras👍.
Can an EV of any brand be your sole primary vehicle ? looking at the price tags its no more a second car segment.
My Reason for not to Purchase this now is Money 💀
very nice review
Thank you 😃
This is a rip off of the Tesla cyber truck in design. To me the car looks down right UGLY. If I compare Tata Curve is better looking.
Idk curvv looks ugly to me 🤷🏾♂️
