Met Papa Roach as a teen they were amazing. Their albums helped me through so many hard times. I will always love the original, but this was an awesome reload.

I listened to this on Spotify assuming it was going to be some kind of remaster. Last resort is one of the songs that changes you. And honestly this reloaded is awesome! It brings the same energy I felt when I first heard last resort as a child.
It's not really a dark or desperate song like the original. The melody and the tempo is more rebellious, more anarchist, almost funky or poppy. I would go so far as to say in parts it almost sounds up beat. Which doesn't necessarily fit the desperation, anguish, dispair and angst of the original lyrics. But it's a cool remix. Clean, modern and pays a solid homage to the original. Nice work to Papa Roach and Jeris Johnson for putting this together during such difficult times.
People have learned to handle and express things like anxiety and depression differently because this generation is just way more open about those things than any before. I hear plenty of darkness in this dudes lyrics personally lol
I honestly didn't expect to like this as much as I do. Jeris' bars are strong, feel the emotion in the lyrics, and energy he he adds to the song, not like they just featured him, musics the same but also different. Nice job boys!

I was 18 when the original Last Resort came out. I loved it then and it resonated with me just as much then as it does after all the crap of 2020. I will be 39 this year.....I FREAKIN love this remix! My wife and I joked that the remix may end up being one of our theme songs for this year.
Man this guy Jeris is amazing, I went to go hear some of his other work after this. The only thing I can say is this guys voice is so perfectly balanced. There's seems to be so little extra noize if you will, when he sings. One of the smoothest sounding vocals I have heard.

Met Papa Roach as a teen they were amazing. Their albums helped me through so many hard times. I will always love the original, but this was an awesome reload.

I listened to this on Spotify assuming it was going to be some kind of remaster. Last resort is one of the songs that changes you. And honestly this reloaded is awesome! It brings the same energy I felt when I first heard last resort as a child.
It's not really a dark or desperate song like the original. The melody and the tempo is more rebellious, more anarchist, almost funky or poppy. I would go so far as to say in parts it almost sounds up beat. Which doesn't necessarily fit the desperation, anguish, dispair and angst of the original lyrics. But it's a cool remix. Clean, modern and pays a solid homage to the original. Nice work to Papa Roach and Jeris Johnson for putting this together during such difficult times.

I was 18 when the original Last Resort came out. I loved it then and it resonated with me just as much then as it does after all the crap of 2020. I will be 39 this year.....I FREAKIN love this remix! My wife and I joked that the remix may end up being one of our theme songs for this year.
Man this guy Jeris is amazing, I went to go hear some of his other work after this. The only thing I can say is this guys voice is so perfectly balanced. There's seems to be so little extra noize if you will, when he sings. One of the smoothest sounding vocals I have heard.
