Nice job! I'm sure you'll beat this soon! Just some general thoughts I had while watching: -I'd highly advise becoming color neutral! Definitely get it out of the way now as opposed to waiting later when it'll be much harder, This leads me into -Your crosses are typically pretty long and not ergonomic. I believe I saw a rotation in one and some B moves in others. A good rule is to pretty much never do B moves or rotate during cross, unless there is some really good first pair or Xcross that can result (thought even these situations are very rare). Since its pretty clear you don't plan your first F2L pair (which is another thing you should work on that will make you much faster!), you definitely should be doing much more efficient and faster crosses. -Your F2L solutions definitely very comfortable for you, which is good! Some things you should take advantage of though are minimizing rotations and pauses. A good rule would be making sure you never rotate more than 3 times on a given solve, and never more than once for a single pair. Im sure you already know this, but always be thinking about your next pair solution while doing the one you're currently solving. This is something I have to tell myself from time to time even if I average 7 seconds. Just take a step back, and remind yourself before doing a solve that you're not going to look at the pair you're currently solving, and don't be afraid to go a little slower if you need to not pause. These go hand in hand since ideally you should be able to look ahead to multiple pair solutions while solving one pair, and evaluate which won't require a rotation, or which will be shorter, and so on. -You are doing a very good job at minimizing regrips during F2L! Keep doing this -Your last layer is pretty good! I would just recommend taking some time to really drill some algorithms, mainly your PLLs for now. If you can, work on making small optimizations with your fingertricks to avoid using a single finger too much or regripping. Your PLL foundation is good, just the actual execution can be faster (for example the J perm on solve 2 or G perm on solve 4). Just occasionally grab a cube and practice your algs, if you want you can time your PLLs with your stackmat and use the dropping times as motivation to continue practicing them! All this stuff is pretty simple and will help you a lot! I believe you're going to improve very fast, keep practicing! It's impressive how many solves are in your session. Keep it up.
Come on man. They didn’t ask for you to rant about every little thing that wasn’t quite optimal. They already know how to improve. On top of that, you I feel like vastly overestimate colour neutrality. It’s a bit of an advantage sure, but can totally screw you up too when you can’t find anything. I’d argue it’s hardly worth it in CFOP. Also, what’s your deal with B moves? You can do B from homegrip, and it’s perfectly fine. It’s much better to choose the side which gives you the best lookahead than to just avoid B moves. Sorry if I’m sounding rambly or like I’m attacking you, I really don’t want to start an argument. I get a bit bugged reading stuff like this.
@@Luna77543 This comment is actually very helpful for me, I don't feel as if he's attacking me or anything. also, I don't think B moves from home grip isn't possible, it would require some sort of regripping one way or another. I really(and you) should avoid B moves for the cross at all costs. Color neutrality isn't wasteful, it's an important difference, for example, someone who averages 20 seconds vs someone who averages under 8 seconds. I'm working on color neutrality right now with yellow cross, and it's great because if I can't find anything good on the white cross, I could just switch to the yellow cross for a better solution. In the future, if you see comments like these, please don't take them as a criticizing comments for everything they do wrong, they just want to help them get better at cubing! Happy cubing!
@@TriCubing sorry, I interpreted it all wrong. You actually can do B from homegrip, Zipper-sea has a great video on the fingertricks and I would advise to watch it. It’s very helpful for avoiding rotations and having good lookahead. I probably dunked on Colour Neutrality too much in my original comment, but I still definitely don’t think it’s ‘important’ (some off the best cubers in the world aren’t CN) I’ve played around a lot with it and I’ve found that even when I redo the scramble to get the better cross on white, I average significantly slower with it. X2y I think is worth it for sure, but I really don’t think full colour neutrality is is ‘objectively optimal’ as people make it out to be. It takes forever to learn, and your cross barely becomes better at the cost of losing inspection time whilst you find your cross colour. All I’ll say is don’t expect becoming CN to decrease your average from 12 to 11.
@@Luna77543 cn is just a good thing to know, I'm not saying cn is going to give you better results, after all crosses are crosses and there can be good ones and bad ones hey I might make a vid on this topic, thanks for the idea
