wow, crazy they didn't remove contents to give to Goodwill or something.. Maybe it was gutted where you were able to go because asbestos in the walls or something? Making the contents hazardous.. who knows. Hopefully that wasn't the case though. You explorers do take risks.
The people complaining about the "lack of research" need to understand that it is not always possible to do so, especially with the impromptu finds you have found. There is not always information on some locations. These videos are excellent, and a little mystery of a location makes it more interesting.
I just discovered your channel a couple of weeks ago. Thanks JP and Mike. I find it fascinating and sad at the same time...to think that people had to abandon their homes for whatever reason...sad. But, by the same token, I LOVE this! Keep up the great work and be safe!
People have such nerve getting upset because you don't give locations. It's really NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. You don't need druggies and graffiti all over everything. They should mind their own business.
Not only that, there are also vandals and thieves. And you might get the blame. Or what if someone goes to one of those abandoned places and gets hurt or worse and decides to sue. "Well so and so told me where it was, so it's his fault." Let them complain all they want, you don't need to tell them where anything is. It's always best not to.
Great find and great job as always. I'm 39 years old and I have to admit some of those toys bring back memories as I owned some of the same ones lol!!!!
Locations don't need to be revealed, that just invites the sure destruction of a place, because thieves and vandals watch these videos as well. I appreciate the way you document a place, so just do it your way, it's your channel and we are the guests.
I have no complaints about how you do things, I just enjoy what you are doing. I'm in my 70's so I wouldn't attempt to investigate abandoned structures, but because of your videos, I get to. Thanks.
Ignore the complainers! I love your videos and how smooth they are to watch! Some other you-tubers dont know how to film and it's all shaky and gives me a headache lol And I love all the really old homes, even if there are no things in them :) Thank you for all the videos! ❤
JPVideos ....So I just discovered your channel this week and am now binging all the videos...my favorite so far is the Grandma's House with the lookout!! ❤
I have several videos that im very proud of. Just go over my abandoned remains playlist or abandon resorts to see all my abandoned videos. Thanks so much for writing.
I understand people wouldn’t take the things in abandoned places to be respectful, but there are so many things that other people could use that’s just left to rot
Anat " people wouldn’t take the things in abandoned places to be respectful, " Really, what planet do you live on? Other people would take what they think would bring them money and not give two beans about respect.
Ive seen several urban explores on you tube. They show little respect for something thats not theirs. One guy was taking things. Your channel is well respected for being respectful.
This took me back to my childhood. Great memories. I loved how you showed us the items too bad it will be destroyed. I would love to have my old toys back. Bless you for bring us these videos.
I understand being curious and wanting to know, but some people would be right there stealing and destroying stuff. Thank you for allowing us to join you on your explorations.
i don't agree with destruction and vandalism, but stealing? is it really stealing when no one is using it and it's just rotting away for the next 50 years? i'd rather get it outside of the cold dark moldy backrooms and into the light so some people can enjoy and appreciate it and make use of it. if i make a little commission from going into unknown territory to find them, then that's justified. i'm risking a lot to bring these things out from oblivion. if i find a rare book, now some professor somewhere has it. if i find a coin collection, now some collector has it. if i find some electronics, now someone is able to fix and refurbish his devices from the parts. principled looters are a valuable part of the recycle and reuse ecosystem. why manufacture in excess when i can find a huge surplus hidden away somewhere? principled looters should be distinguished from destructive looters and vandals. i never use destructive methods. i never toss the place, i put everything back where it is if it has no value outside of the environment in which it was found. i have my own code and i deserve respect for the work that i do, just like everyone else in the urbex community.
I have to tell you how much I appreciate your integrity and respect for property. You document and leave undisturbed. Wish there were more like you, thanks.
I am very saddened to hear that it was demolished!! 😥 Hopefully they removed the contents before doing so. You are doing a great service by documenting these abandoned properties! Thank you for sharing!!
I just had to let you know, I came across your videos last night and love your explorations! I also love exploring old houses, new houses with just framing done for floor plans , and I even explore in my dreams. Exploring vicariously through you all is great! Thanks for sharing your passion!
I would track down the owner and offer to clean up the place/haul out the junk on condition of keeping the toys alone. Some of them are worth a very pretty penny to collectors?
That's actually a good idea. I'd be really tempted to do that. Or agree to give the owner a percentage of anything I find to sell if I don't want to bother to haul stuff off.
You're the one with that on YOUR mind. You ever read Freud? Offering what you did there, given NO discernible reason from anyone else's comments, says a lot about you. Almost like an 'admittance' of sorts. Ya know what I'm sayin' Yourself and you?
There is no reason why you should apologize for how you do what you do. Its not anyones business where these properties are. Im sure if they put the effort in they could find them on their own. Love your videos keep up the great work!!)
The “knock off of Elvis” is actually Jordan Knight from New Kids on the Block. I had all them Ghost Buster figures n it brought back memories. Some of there mouths would open n there tongues would pop out!
I had a bunch of those Ghostbusters toys as well, but I lost them all when my prick of a father sold them all in a yard sale. He and my mom were separated and since she bought all of my toys, he figured he could get back at her by doing that.
Its great you are able to find places like these and explore. There is no reason for people to get in a tizzy over locations being revealed, or going through personal items. It would be great in my opinion if you could reunite items with their owners. You've been respectful, you don't destroy or thrash the places. I appreciate the care you take while going through. Thank you for doing background investigations and sharing when possible. I really enjoy the much, much older homes. Built in th early 1900's are old back. The architecture is just beautiful. Thanks again for sharing.
Guys, thanks for these videos, but please be careful. A respirator mask could maybe prevent you from inhaling mold spores, dust... I highly recommend saving up for one. Stay safe!
Please go back! It looked like those doors were open. Just needed a little more wiggling. And the trip through those boxes was great! As you say, if you went through them all, the video would be long. But that would be ok. Great to document this stuff. Chances really are high that it will all just get thrown out. :(
Thanks for sharing! So many great toys from my childhood. Love watching your abandoned building videos. At 12:20 that's Jordan Knight from New Kids On The Block. I would have loved to have that as a kid! He was my favorite of the group. Crazy that the power is still on! Spooky!
A lot of stuff, can't believe that the power is still on. Suppose people took off and no one will find them to pay for the power bill. A lot of toys. Excellent find.
Awe...disappointed can't see it all, but what we saw was really great! Very much appreciate your honesty, integrity, and respect for the owner's privacy as well as no forceful entry. This sets you apart from others.
Couldn’t agree with you more when it comes to the creepy dolls I’ve always hated dolls. Give me the woods a tree to climb and I was a happy camper as a kid . Even today as a grandma I hate the looks of dolls give me the woods a cave or an abandoned mine and I’m happy oh so happy. Another good video . Keep looking for those old houses makes for a super explore.
Sad that stuff will just end up roting away or end up in dump... plenty of stuff to goto ryt nostalgic collector to cherish it instead letting it goto waste.
Nice Armoire! Cool bedroom furniture. Troll dolls are collectible. Looks like architectural plans in the crate behind the ghost busters.@10:17. Aluminum ice bucket by the toys is collectible. 12:03 Nice Maple dressers. Wow. Still power. Door #1, might be WD. Chain on wall in door #2, Beetlejuice. room.
Makes me sad to see these types of building full of stuff that look as if they could be repurposed and given to a shelter or charity to use for a family that doesn't have much.
Awesome explore!! Wow! so much stuff left behind! I did wonder if it was an orphanage or crisis home for mums and kids maybe? Either way, research ot not, I enjoyed it.
Cool place to explore. You picked the best box to go through! Ghostbusters, Beetlejuice! Doesn't bother me if you go through things, no one is coming back for that kid's stuff, and it is abandoned. Dunno why people complain about exploring things no one wants, so why can't we see it? It hurts no one.
Exactly. Don't watch if you do not like it. I love it, I grew up in a 'ghost town' in Kansas, we rooted around abandoned places all the time. No harm, no foul.
I know tomorrow is Jill's birthday, but I might forget. So please wish her a Happy Birthday from me. Thanks Jason. Keep bringing your fabulous videos. I love them all.
This is the first video of yours I've seen & I thank you for clearing up how legally challenging it is in regards to certain info. I would also like to offer a small 'trick' I personally found easy when opening old cabinets or amoires (aka wardrobes). Keep a set of different width craft dowel rods (pointed or blunt rounded), this will help 'jimmie' the lock & in some cases the handle or keyhole side must be opened before it's companion.
All those toys -boxes upon boxes- and then the odd little smelly room with the black/white bar-like painting makes me wonder if the property was used to house children who were abducted.
if you are abducting children I highly doubt you care enough to give them vintage toys to play with..and if they did they wouldnt be in boxes then right?
I lift my hat to you for not disclosing the location. Some people have no respect for others' property. Thank you for not taking anything but sharing the contents. It is a sad situation.
Takes me back to my childhood, I had all the Ghostbusters, He-Man, Ninja Turtles, and my sister had the Beauty and the Beast and Full House stuff. Great find, great video!
I would buy that place in a heartbeat!. The toys alone would easily make back the cost plus a nice profit since they were all collector's items. That, and the place seems like it would be really nice once fixed up.
It’s nice to see someone go into somewhere that’s not been Wrecked ..I don’t think I would say where the places were,I cannot bear to see what was once someone’s home wrecked ..whether or not it’s been abandoned..such a shame and a disrespect for other people’s property🙂
The antique wardrobe was beautiful. Too bad the doors wouldn't open .A doll collector/restorer would love the girl and boy dolls with the crocheted outfits ... a lot of work and details in the clothes.. After watching a few of your abandoned house tours I am definitely boxing up of some of my stuff and haul it off to a thrift store where it can be enjoyed by someone else. Might as well do it now while I am motivated...your videos are an education. Another fun explore ..thanks.
That black and white room is creepy AF. Some lawyer is using the estate to pay the for the power and probably charging a lot of money to do so every month. When the estate dries up, so will the power.
I don't complain a lot...this is me trusting you to make a great judgement call...I reallize mostly that you don't really have to supply anything to me...but in good faith I do appreciate all the footage of abandoned houses..and buildings...and more than most...I appreciate the time and effort you spend doing so❤💙❤💙
Hi Guys 🖐️. The creeps came as soon as you opened the door !! WOW there's a lot of stuff there. Now I'm wondering what happened there???? Did Santa move out OR what? ☺️. The dresser's don't look too bad. Hi Mike🖐️. There's some good stuff, but there's also a great deal of junk!! Some unfortunate children would just love those toys, especially the ones that have not been taken from their original cartons. This was an interesting video.thank you guys. Have a great day ☺️ 🖐️💯 💯.
Me at 3:10 (spotting the Real Ghostbusters Ecto-1 vehicle box) - "Are you kidding me?" Me at 3:50 (seeing the Hot Keyz box) - "Are you kidding me?!" Me at 3:59 (seeing the Knight Rider Impossible Stunts Set Box) - "Are you f#%king kidding me!?" Me at 5:44 (seeing the Pee-Wee Playhouse box) - "Are you s#%&ting me?! I have the doll for that in my collection!" Me at 9:01 (seeing the Real Ghostbusters proton wand) - "I want every single thing I've just seen!" Me at 12:15 (seeing the figure in your hand) - "I'm ashamed to know this. Jordon Knight from New Kids On The Block: The Animated Series. God, I wish I didn't know that! And I'm regretting my previous statement."
I have to admire your resolve to not want to just start carting off half that stuff. There was so much neat stuff inside. Who ever buys that structure will make most of his money back just selling off the contents to collectors!
Just baffles the mind what people will just walk off and leave. I see the property and my first thought is how many people would do the work needed to make it livable so they have a roof over their head. Also almost wonder it some of this stuff is stolen, the toys compared to furniture just doesn't add up for me in a time line, and that the toys to be intact and in original boxes. ??? Fun to wonder; Thank you JP love our walks. So much fun.
Awesome explore your doing great with your videos folks should appreciate the efforts you put into to get to these places and explore. I sure do appreciate everything you do. Rock on.
Yah, just because there is a 25 year old bag from a store doesn’t mean they are anywhere near that store. I live in Houston and have things from all over the North East.
I'm a hoarder i still have every one of those epic ghost buster finds the gun you had i believe i saw the yellow blast Ray in the corner that would attach in the front. And in the box you were digging in had the trap. That you could squeeze a ball and air would go through the tube and open the doors. That place is an 80s time capsule. Looks like they may have sold stuff in flea markets going by the way it was stored.
Your right sir. Confidentiality is important. Just because a house or business seems abandoned, someone might still legally own it. If the lights work, well someone is still paying for the electricity. The owner(s) might show up, and can accuse you of trespassing. Be careful. Sometimes everything is not what it seems.
im a career reseller and this place is a gold mine, 10k ++ worth of value here. honestly i hope you took what you could, its not like anyone wants it anymore! the baseball cards i seen are worthless though
I'm female and dolls scare the crap out of me. My aunt is a collector and ever since I was a child I refuse to go into her living room. Too many tiny glossy eyes looking back at me
Personally I'm curious where all these places are but I also feel like "curiosity killed the cat" so folks should not need to know. You usually step into old mines wherever you go. Folks would definitely be trying to take things that doesn't belong to them. But this video was amazingly awesome with all of the toys and creepy that the lights were still hooked up. I'm thinking maybe the city light dept forgot to turn the power off... LOL WOW that's crazy!!!! Thank you JP for making these videos & taking us on your adventures. ❤
1980s -early 1990s toys lol! My son had all of the Ghostbuster toys !!! Child size equipment , figures etc. Also the He man sets!!!! I still have boxes of this stuff!!!!
New sub here guys. I love what you do. Seeing these places and trying to imagine who lived there, what their lives we're like and why the place is abandoned is fascinating. Keep doing what you're doing and always be safe.
Hi JP, great explore! I think too a great job at looking through what you have time to and what you can get into. The beetle juice room might have been a bathroom at one point? Maybe that’s what the smell was.... who knows. I’m glad you don’t give out most of the locations, they would be looted, tagged and destroyed . Thanks for sharing and awesome job, gave you thumbs up as always!
JPVideos It is common since bro, it would be trashed in a week! Those that can’t appreciate the fact that you don’t share locations (and 99% of us understand why), those others are the ones that would probably be the ones to go in and loot the place. Once again, most understand and you shouldn’t have to explain or apologize, in my opinion. Great job!
Cool, a classic yellow Fay's Drugs bag right when you go in. I haven't seen or been in a Fay's since the mid-90s. I think Eckerd took them over then Rite Aid. One thing I remember from going to Fay's Drugs in the 80s as a kid was they had tall broomstick-like things attached to the carts so you see them throughout the store annnnnd you couldn't take them outside beyond the entrance vestibule. They had a pretty good toy aisle and candy section too for a drug store. More awesome 80's childhood memories. Sorry I focused on a Fay's bag, I do love your videos though!
UPDATE: as of today March 2019, this place has been demolished with all contents left inside.
wow, crazy they didn't remove contents to give to Goodwill or something.. Maybe it was gutted where you were able to go because asbestos in the walls or something? Making the contents hazardous.. who knows. Hopefully that wasn't the case though. You explorers do take risks.
Good job lots of nice toys there some one could use them for there kids
It's shameful for them not to have donated the toys to charity. Toys and clothes and anything can be sterilized. I've done that myself on urbex.
You could start a business where (in your spare time) could clean these places out for them & keep the contents.
@@armecycutrer7416 I know a guy who does that. Charges people a fortune to haul away stuff and sells it for good money.
The people complaining about the "lack of research" need to understand that it is not always possible to do so, especially with the impromptu finds you have found. Thank you
You're welcome. Like your videos.
Let alone the copper strippers, they are the worst of the bunch, they destroy it all!!
Bums that don't have REAL JOBS and too much time on their hands.
Not only that, there are also vandals and thieves. And you might get the blame. Or what if someone goes to one of those abandoned places and gets hurt or worse and decides to sue. Cory Smith that's exactly what he was saying, SOME people would and some think it's disrespectful. He didn't say he felt that way.
It’s not anyone’s right to take things.

That bed with matching dresser and the chair were gorgeous
So true! And that gorgeous armoire at the beginning
I understand being curious and wanting to know, but some people would be right there stealing and destroying stuff. Thank you for allowing us to join you on your explorations.
Your absolutely correct. I used to share locations until i discovered that was happened. I'm out to preserve history, not destroy it.

Sadly, they didnt
So amazing makes you wonder what happened and why they left all that stuff behind great video thank you for sharing 😊💕💕👍👍👍👍
I bet there is hundreds of dollars worth of items in that house! Very interesting... I could spend a day rummaging through that stuff!!
I just had to let you know, I came across your videos last night and love your explorations! I also love exploring old houses, new houses with just framing done for floor plans , and I even explore in my dreams. Exploring vicariously through you all is great! Thanks for sharing your passion!
Love meeting fellow explorers. Thanks for watching
The "Pickers" would love this place! Awesome explore. Hard to figure out what type of place it is. Love the collectible toys! Great find!

We checked them out closer, some of them still work. Thanks for the Jordan Knight info.
Awesome finds! That bed is beautiful as well! Wasn’t a disappointment at all.
Lol. I was going to point out it was Jordan knight too!
I_am_Nikki_Nitro I was gonna say Jordan knight also. Lol

Nice to see you r wearing gloves but need a respirator also. Nice vid, good job

For the GHOSTBUSTERS Proton Pack handle thing , first thing outta my lips would be me saying " MINE! FINDERS KEEPERS , BRUH!" , hehe!!

Great job! I'm shocked that no one has destroyed it, cool finds also. I say a prayer for you each video that your safe . keep up the great job
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
It's like they were interrupted while packing and never had the chance to go back. So many unanswered questions. Good find. Thx
You're welcome

I know tomorrow is Jill's birthday, but I might forget. So please wish her a Happy Birthday from me. Thanks Jason. Keep bringing your fabulous videos. I love them all.
Will do, thanks!

thats sad,its true the same time.better put hidden camera
if you are abducting children I highly doubt you care enough to give them vintage toys to play with..and if they did they wouldnt be in boxes then right?
it keeps them quite
The figure with the microphone is Jordan Knight from New kids on the block lol
I had that as a kid!

Now that's a walk through memory lane!... Amazing explore!
Thanks for checking it out

Too bad the doors wouldn't open .A doll collector/restorer would love the girl and boy dolls with the crocheted outfits ... a lot of work and details in the clothes.. After watching a few of your abandoned house tours I am definitely boxing up of some of my stuff and haul it off to a thrift store where it can be enjoyed by someone else. Might as well do it now while I am motivated...your videos are an education. Another fun explore ..thanks.
Thats the sad part. Most items in these locations wont ever be enjoyed by people again.
It is so sad when there are children all over the word who do not have any toys. Thankyou so much for sharing
I agree
That black and white room is creepy AF. Some lawyer is using the estate to pay the for the power and probably charging a lot of money to do so every month. When the estate dries up, so will the power.
I don't complain a lot...this is me trusting you to make a great judgement call...I reallize mostly that you don't really have to supply anything to me...but in good faith I do appreciate all the footage of abandoned houses..and buildings...and more than most...I appreciate the time and effort you spend doing so❤💙❤💙
Thank you for the kind words
Ty carole
So much stuff collectors would pay for! I want to go through everything! The hallway made me think of The Shining though. 😨
That white dresser and bed set is so beautiful ❤ I'm pretty sure those dark pink lunch boxes were Barbie too.
Me at 3:10 (spotting the Real Ghostbusters Ecto-1 vehicle box) - "Are you kidding me?"
Me at 3:50 (seeing the Hot Keyz box) - "Are you kidding me?!"
Me at 3:59 (seeing the Knight Rider Impossible Stunts Set Box) - "Are you f#%king kidding me!?"
Me at 5:44 (seeing the Pee-Wee Playhouse box) - "Are you s#%&ting me?! I have the doll for that in my collection!"
Me at 9:01 (seeing the Real Ghostbusters proton wand) - "I want every single thing I've just seen!"
Me at 12:15 (seeing the figure in your hand) - "I'm ashamed to know this. Jordon Knight from New Kids On The Block: The Animated Series. God, I wish I didn't know that! And I'm regretting my previous statement."
Haha
I have to admire your resolve to not want to just start carting off half that stuff. There was so much neat stuff inside. Who ever buys that structure will make most of his money back just selling off the contents to collectors!
It would be nice, but would most likely end my youtube career. Jail isnt worth it
Just baffles the mind what people will just walk off and leave.
Rock on.
Thanks
It's always amazing to me what people leave behind. Love your videos! Cool stuff :)
Ty
That place is one giant time capsule
I saw a cabbage parch high chair , I remember this from 86. That year there was the cabbage patch kids swing a d stroller to.
A little clue to the location @ 0.55. The yellow bag is from Fay's Drug. Fay's stores were in central and upstate NY. Fay's sold out in 1996.
stwrthaas14 haha yup I'm originally from upstate NY and recognized the Fay's bag right away
Like somebody could really find this place only knowing its somewhere in upstate NY. Good luck with that
It maybe not Newyork and they kept a bag as a souvenir? Its possible
Yah, just because there is a 25 year old bag from a store doesn’t mean they are anywhere near that store. I live in Houston and have things from all over the North East.
Stwrthaas14 we had Fays drug stores in scranton pennsylvania area as well. That means it can be anywhere in the north eastern part of the country
People always complain and criticize. Dont let them bother you. Your great
Sometimes its hard
I'm a hoarder i still have every one of those epic ghost buster finds the gun you had i believe i saw the yellow blast Ray in the corner that would attach in the front. And in the box you were digging in had the trap. That you could squeeze a ball and air would go through the tube and open the doors. That place is an 80s time capsule. Looks like they may have sold stuff in flea markets going by the way it was stored.
Great find! I used to have that winne the pooh blanket that was in the second room your explored!
Ty
You had me cracking up going thru looking for ghostbuster toys! rofl 😂😂😂
🙂
I think you give a background better than most every other explorer so keep up the good work. I really enjoy your explores!
Thanks Debbie. I try to do what i can to share information when i can.
Your right sir. Confidentiality is important. Just because a house or business seems abandoned, someone might still legally own it. If the lights work, well someone is still paying for the electricity. The owner(s) might show up, and can accuse you of trespassing.
Be careful. Sometimes everything is not what it seems.
This place was torn down last month. Thanks for watching
A lot of really neat toys-Thanks Too bad you couldn't get down to the main floor but glad to see what was there.
Some kids had some cool toys in the late 80's/early 90's. I had several of those same Ghostbusters toys
That’s an eBay smorgasbord serious money in that stuff, such a shame..
First time viewer Great stuff
im a career reseller and this place is a gold mine, 10k ++ worth of value here. honestly i hope you took what you could, its not like anyone wants it anymore! the baseball cards i seen are worthless though
Sadly it was torn down months ago.
Them dolls ain't no more creepy than the boy's toys. It's ridiculous how men are so damn scared of dolls!
I'm female and dolls scare the crap out of me. My aunt is a collector and ever since I was a child I refuse to go into her living room. Too many tiny glossy eyes looking back at me
Another great video!
Thanks for watching Bonnie
Looks like some one was ready to renovate , pretty tidy , makes you wonder when they bailed out ??? looks like 90s stuff. good vid guys.
This is an endless supply of items to sell on ebay!!!
1980s -early 1990s toys lol! My son had all of the Ghostbuster toys !!! Child size equipment , figures etc. Also the He man sets!!!! I still have boxes of this stuff!!!!
Nice find!!! Damn most of those toys r worth some cash.. Must of been a pretty well off family or "was" some type of mom n pop store. 👍👍
New sub here guys. I love what you do. Seeing these places and trying to imagine who lived there, what their lives we're like and why the place is abandoned is fascinating. Keep doing what you're doing and always be safe.
Thats why i do this. Not only for my curiosity, but yours as well.
Wow, this is a trip down memory lane for all of us 30 - 40 + years old.
9:20 that yellow pool noodle looking thing is actually the beam to that Ghostbusters proton pack toy lol
Ah, ok
I for real laughed out loud, hit rewind, and laughed again at 6:25!😄😄
There is some really cool stuff in there 👍 thanks for sharing!
You guys do an excellent job and thank you for sharing
10:10 that long yellow foam thing on the floor goes to a ghostbusters proton pack toy
Dude the Ghostbusters car was in that box go back an get it !!!!!
No! You don’t take things! That’s the rule when urban exploring. Learn the rules.
I don’t know what is scarier the voice at the beginning or exploring the House!
Thanks for understanding
I remember that store too. Some thrift stores have those carts with the pole on them.
Oh I missed your talent for telling the story...:))
Love that intro! Loved this vid! Don’t know how I missed this one! 🌹👏
And its only from last year lol
What a find. Toys galore.....😎
Damn! Great finds in that house. Took me right back to my childhood!
Loved that bed in the first room
That big flower pot is beautiful.
Very impressive....enjoyed this..
