Hey brother Master Michael! Thanks for sharing! It sounds so tasty! And I like the practicality of the box pressed shape! And that eine sounds interesting! Take care my friend!
Hey Michael, could you share your preferences on the topic of internal moisture levels of cigars and why? I just ordered a Cigar Medics HumidiMeter in hopes to gain improved experience from my cigars. I've had several cigars lately that are becoming too moist in the final third. Always a disappointment.
Great question, some blends have a bit more moisture in the leaves and can have a tendency to hold humidity more than others. In my experience, and I always preface by stating that I'm in a dry climate in Vegas. Rh is about 18-24 throughout most of the year, and I smoke outside. This tends to create an overcompensation by most of the lounges and humidors to blast humidity daily so I generally keep my cigars in a lower range. 60-65 rh keeps almost all of them from too high of an internal humidity for me. I also prefer smoking in the 58-62 range as it reduces issues with burns and moisture internally. This can be done various way but the easiest for those in humid environments is to just dry box the cigars you're planning to smoke for a few days before smoking. Keep the dry box around 35-45 rh and let the humidity gradually reduce on the cigars. Hope the information helps out my friend!
If you have to lower a box I would recommend using a separate tupper/coolidor so you have better control. Can always separate it from the rest of your collection and add it back later.
Just smoked this cigar last night. A truly phenomenal cigar. Steve Saka is a true artist.

@@MasterYourAshWhat's a good way to keep a box at a lower rh?
