Just had my first one from the first release so a lot of age. Very smooth and the aging has really mellowed the pepper. Nice smoke with an Abuelo 12 rum.

Great point. I smoked a Bolivar Royal Corona about a week prior to enjoying a Casa Cuba. The bready, butter, floral components on the Casa Cuba were almost spot on until the final third when it turned back to the funky Dominican barnyard I always associate with Fuente. Excellent cigar nonetheless for sure!

I have the 2024 version Monster Smash arriving next week. Price was good. Looking forward to sampling all 14. I've never tried the Tatauje line. I enjoy trying different makers cigars. It doesn't always work out but if I find something thats not to my liking I give them to my brother-in-law. He smokes anything.

Do you think it would be similar to the gold as both are Maduro’s? Have you had a chance to try out that cigar?

I've smoked two of these in this vitola and had major construction issues with the first cigar and quite a few aesthetic imperfections on the second cigar. I do enjoy the cedar notes and the body on this cigar but there is a lot to be desired for the price point. I've never once experienced these kind of issues with Padron, even in the lower priced offerings.

Hate to say it but…looks fake. The letters “Habana Cuba” are awfully bold. Real ones have a much finer print. That’s just my observation. Guess if it’s given to you doesn’t really matter lol
