Just bought this bike for my wife yesterday. Thanks for a very reassuring vlog that we made the right decision. She wanted it for the same reasons as your wife. (Also love your lawn and clipped shrubs!). Wishing you both many good cycling days - from Yorkshire, U.K.
I'm a 172cm male, do you think the Vida Medium would be appropriate size? There's a half price sale near me but they don't have any in store to try. Ships directly from warehouse
I have had this bike 2 years and still cannot remove the battery - upon unlocking the battery pops open a tad but no more and I just don’t want to force it open further. Does anyone else have that problem?
Good news, your battery is supposed to only pop out an inch or so and then be removed the rest of the way. Once it's opposed out of the frame at the top, push downward on the battery while tilting the top of the battery away from the frame. If you are unable to remove the battery using this procedure then the lock mechanism needs to be adjusted. Your local Giant/Momentun/Liv bike shop should be able to do this for you. There's a small, black plastic clip on the top of the battery that keeps it from flopping out unexpectedly. I had a wreck on my bike once, and that clip broke off. Now I have to catch the battery when I turn the key or it will eject out of the frame and hit the floor.
It's a challenge to make videos with good audio outdoors with so many unwanted noises: we have AC units on both ends of the house, the neighbors lawn mower, string trimmers and barking dogs, then there's the wildlife. I had to wait for a murder of crows to move to another location before I started to record this video. You may have noticed lots of songbirds and I believe the calling you hears at the 4:30 mark was a red-bellied woodpecker. 🙄

I’m 5’9”, my wife is 5’6” and we are both riding ‘medium’ size Momentum bikes. A medium should be perfect for you.

@@Koolbob2 Don't worry it's really cool, I love the bird noises. Never heard a woodpecker before!
was hoping you were going to ride it, oh well
Sorry, I'm just not coordinated enough to ride and film at the same time. :)
