What Nobody Says about the Light No Fire trailer -

- Impossible diversity, swim styles, crazy details nobody else has mentioned. Or maybe I just didn't see anyone talking about them… Will it come out in 2024? I don't know, but Light No Fire is going to be Epic.
This video doesn't mention the stuff that so many others are talking about - only those tiny details that I had to dig really deep to find. Yeah - they're there in plain sight, but I couldn't find a video that talks about them.
I am sure I missed some video or videos that did mention some of these things, so - if @Kanaju , @Beeblebum , @ProfessorCynical , @JasonPlaysNMS , @GhostLightXE or anyone wants to send me links, I will gladly add them as mentions here.
This video has gotten so many views, I wonder why not one of the more "famous" creators has gotten to respond. So adding mentions here to a few more: @CaptainSteveVPT ? @nolopada ? @GoldenGek ? @TheStructure ?
Some credit is due -

I did not miss the giant octopus - it's just that so many people have mentioned it already, I didn't want to include it in a video titled "what nobody says ...".
However, I do think there's something to say about this octopus, in a future video, so expect one sometime soon.
GGF
I just want a giant turtle island in the game that moves around every now and then 😊
LOL, I want a floating island, doesn't have to be turtle shaped.
Such a great video. I will follow your guide in this univers.
Thanks so much ❤
I'm speechless. It's comments like this that drive me to continue producing my content. Thank you so much 🙏🏻.
Dude! you spotted so much detail. Liked and Subbed, hope to see more content like this in the future. Great Job!
Thank you... Doing my best for the community. I hope the community around this game will be as good as the one around NMS.
its a logical step for hello games, compartmentalizing all that great world generation into one world, love the idea amd cant wait either
I love how hyped people are getting 😅
I think the big metallic giant wakes when you light fire nearby, notice theres only 1 torch bearer. Those beady eyed black ghost looking things could be the souls of the folk who brought fire and got wasted.
That's a very interesting take on things... Thank you for sharing.
GGF
Is it a robot? There looks like there is a panel on the top right of its head.
Not sure I see that panel. I do see that thing that looks like an "ear", and the cyan-like glow of the circle and line on its face certainly look like it could be "electric", but then again - magic could do this too.
GGF
@@ggfnmsvids it's right our left
Yeah, I see what you mean. Sure looks artificial.
You actually pointed out details I completely missed. Thank you and great video.
Thanks for commenting. Subscribed to you - your channel seems interesting!

Man I just love watching trailer breakdowns for games I’m hyped for. Hopefully this doesn’t turn out like Hytale
Let's hope it pans out as a good game. There's reason to be optimistic.
GGF
the original NMS trailer was impressive too...and 70 percent of the features were missing at launch never to come to game, hope they learned
Very true, and I also hope, and believe, that they learned and will not make this same mistake again.
GGF
Rabbit's shield, same as shields on the wall... a Guild hall maybe? EDIT: 6:22
Great thinking... Thank you!
Hey, used this idea from you in my new video - check it out - ruclips.net/video/aptysANmAg4/видео.html - Thanks again!
What i would love is for features on the planet to be more sparse. For example there is something in NMS on every corner and its a little incoherent
This issue has been debated a lot with #starfield ... In Starfield, you find yourself spending many minutes just getting to another place, which done ppl dislike.
There's a fine balance between the need to let people explore and the need to avoid making it ridiculously crowded.
GGF
Maybe the pillar thing is like a waypoint thing. Also, at the end, the big sphere thing, I love the "maze" looking detain on it when ya zoom in.
Indeed - the maze-looking detail of the big sphere ties in well with the patterns we see in the Rabbit-Court scene (6:23-6:34). We see them on the floor panels, and in those tall pointy ornaments as well. The Sphere in the early scene (2:09-2:32) seems to be of the same type, but it's harder to see the patterns. Also the later scene has this sphere on some kind of cone-like structure / pedestal, whereas the earlier sphere does not.
GGF
Hey, mentioned you in my new video - check it out - ruclips.net/video/aptysANmAg4/видео.html - you were the source of a few things in there... Thanks again!
You missed the monolith in the skeleton scene ;)
Absolutely right... I did. Thanks for pointing out. Did you find it yourself or was it featured in another creator's video?
It won't be open 100 percent to explore right away, like most open world games. So those shields will be used like a key to open new areas on the map. Team up with friends and find the shield and take it to that hall and that door will be open for new areas on the map/planet.
Could be... I would love it if those shields would open up the doors to some kind of dungeons. That would create a whole "additional" world to explore, and give some incentive to look for those shields, plus - it could be nice if during the exploration of the dungeon, you will need to sacrifice the shield to get a different shield - and then this makes you seek the next dungeon / area that the new shield will open for you...
No one has mentioned the glowing well next to the house being possible fast travel points.
Excellent point. If I include this in a future video, I'll credit you of course.
GGF
Hey, used this idea from you in my new video - check it out - ruclips.net/video/aptysANmAg4/видео.html - Thanks again!
When this comes out, I will trade resources for info about interesting places. I will be setting up a small village near a valley. Probably on a hill somewhere nice to have a good view. ❤ Stop by, have a laugh, and share a few stories 😊
Your description brings such a strong yearning... I love it. This game isn't out yet, and we're having strong feelings about it. It is awesome.
GGF
@@ggfnmsvids I wonder what connection this Atlas orb has with the Atlas from NMS? The ground being torn apart could be the real earth being eaten by the black hole outside the simulation. Maybe.
I have an idea about this, I hope to put into another video. I'll let you know when that comes out.
GGF
Did we seriously skip on the giant blue octopus?😂 I would've been sh*thing bricks noticing that behind me while swimming
I just pinned a comment about this issue - I did notice it but didn't think I have something to say that is "what nobody says about ...".
Is all..
GGF
@@ggfnmsvids no no all good. I just never noticed it until you paused the video by it 🤣they deliberately hid it
One obvious thing that I haven't heard anyone mention is the overlapping terrain, or maybe another way to say it would be multi layered. It reminds me of side scrollers, like Ori and the blind forest. I'm thinking this is how they are able to render such large areas without killing performance. One thing that really impresses me is how that trick vanishes, or at least altars, as you mount a flying mount. Then you have a clear shot of the whole vista.
Most of the on foot areas seem to have a lot of hills that are pretty close to the player, which is when I see this the most.
Well I'm not an expert on 3d engines, or game engines, so I can't really suggest what's going on. But I'll keep your comment in the back of my mind, and when some details about the rendering methods they use appear (and they always do), I'll share what I learn.
GGF
Keep it up pretty detailed video like it 🦾🔥🔥
Thanks! Will do!
Whoa, careful about those fires, bro. This isn’t “Light Some Fires”, after all
@@trademarkshelton 😂
I noticed something 😮back in the day with NMS there was an a.r.g it was called "waking titan" then..
We see in the light no fire trailer a also a big titan awaking.. is this maybe a hint, there are rumors abouth a new a.r.g, is this confirmation?
Great catch! Hadn't thought of that. Thx...

I hope they release it on ps5
Oh, I hope so too! My best friend has only PS5, and I really want to play with him together...
GGF
This game makes me want to consider buying a PSVR2. I will continue to follow it and hopefully it will live up to its ideas.
We don't know yet which platforms it will support, and I've seen a video that claims it will start as GamePass exclusive, but I don't think it's true.
We'll wait and see.
@@ggfnmsvids I doubt it will be a game pass exclusive considering the steam page to wish list it already exists
Hope you're right.
i wonder if its an exaggeration to say oceans or will it literally take days to cross on boat (unless the boats are far faster)
We haven't seen anything to hint about oceans. Clearly, it would be too boring if we had to spend hours on end just sailing...
I'm sure there will be some large seas, but ones that are traversable in reasonable time.
GGF
@@ggfnmsvids there are dragons so crossing oceans within a reasonable time may still be possible
Sure, sure - just that probably not an early-game thing. But we can never know.
GGF
Why do so many games have such ridiculously small wings on hang gliders/parachutes etc. I know "it's only a game" but it ruins the immersion for me. Like jumping off the roof with an umbrella and expecting to float gently to the ground. You'll be on your way to hospital to have your femurs removed from your armpits. You're not Mary soddin' Poppins.
I think the same, and also about the wings of that fat dragon (sorry for the non inclusive language there... If any dragon asks me to, I will go live to apologize, I promise).
"I'm Mary Poppins y'all!" - Yondu
As you run around as a badger😂relax
@@mw-cp4clright. Of all the things to ruin immersion
Lol
It's the thing you won't be using all the time
But why such small wings though...? Anthropomorphic animals in a fantasy setting is fine but they would still go splat if they trusted those hang gliders 😆.
The dragon wasn't as fat as the red one from the D&D movie.
there is no dragons in this game
dragons have4 feet
not 2
go learen and read about it in ancient history and mythology
go do your homework
Thank you for pointing it out. I did do my homework, and the closest thing to these flying beasts are wyverns.
But if you do you own homework, you'll find out there are very few stories/legends about wyvern riders, mostly because wyverns are almost always the "bad guys".
Still, I thank you for pointing out this fact.
GGF
Great video, you pointed out a bunch of stuff I didn’t notice. To answer one question/prompt you gave, I think we are going to have some kind of goggles in the game, or maybe a primitive diving helmet. With them advertising the presence and depth of oceans in the marketing, there’s got to be some way to facilitate us exploring deeper down in the water. I’m looking forward to seeing how they portray that in a more fantasy setting. Could be anything from a diving bell to an enchanted bubble around the player’s head.
I think you are absolutely correct. Has to be.
GGF
Hey, mentioned you in my new video - check it out - ruclips.net/video/aptysANmAg4/видео.html
And look at that big blue octopus at 3:26. How did I not see that before?!
Except so many people have mentioned it, I didn't want to overburden you.
1:26 Thats not even a horse Bro 🤣And its actually a nice touch coz if you look carefully, there are a lot of firefly-esque bugs annoying its tail. Pretty decent AI actually
Absolutely right - and I know this from other videos and still I fell for this when recording.
Sorry about that!

Hey, great video and in depth analysis. I would hardly say I'm 'famous' though!? hahahaha. I did make a quick reaction video for this game, and am planning to make content for it too, but for now I'll reserve my excitement for when the game releases, rather than get hyped by one of Seans teasers 😛 @Beeblebum has made some great in depth thought provoking videos about this trailer, and thoughts about the game though, so I think you may have missed them but worth also checking out! 🙂
Have been working thorough his videos on this, but need to go into them a bit deeper. Thanks for responding!
GGF
The hiding of the hud may also be just for the trailer.
agree, but I think it will hide like in nms after a bit. I and my oled hope so :D
Everything we say here is speculation. NMS has an option IIRC to hide the HUD, so it's not too far fetched to speculate that LNF will too.
GGF
Liked and Subscribed! Wow!
Great video! There were a few things I didn't notice that you pointed out in the video from the trailer, I seriously can't wait for this game.
Thank you. So happy you liked it.
GGF
wrighting comment, i dont think you forgot about anything
Behind the player cutting down the tree there is a stone building.
Def gonna look into this. Thank you...
@@ggfnmsvids you can only really see a wall but you can tell it's some kind of building.
Just looked at this again now. Definitely some kind of structure... At first I thought it might be just rock strata on the hill-side behind - and if it was, then wow! - but as the shot moves past, we can see a corner, and a little bit of parallax movement revealing that the thing you saw is clearly a structure in front of the background hillside.
Thanks!
@@ggfnmsvids 😁
@@ggfnmsvids some other interesting things are saw are
Eggs (potentially) 2 eggs at 0:42 in the background. To the left of the house behind the bird taking off.
Some kind of cart with a canopy 0:59 bottom right.
Crab body parts on the ground during the crab fight.
I'm so excited for this. Will definitely be all in.
Much like the rug with the crease, the tiles next to them popped, also wowed me as well. Good fun catches/clues to point out. Thanks for the video.
Good eye with the floor tiles... I've started to look at them while doing this video, and noticed at least 2 types of floor tiles. One is flat, the other has a carved pattern.
While making both of my LNF videos, I've noticed all kinds of things that didn't make it into either video... I already have enough material to create another video, but I'm waiting for a bit more. Looking at every possible detail.
There are a couple other themes I'm thinking of, but unfortunately my time is limited so another video might be ready for next weekend, but I can't guarantee.
Thanks!

Bro didn't noticed that huge octopus in the water scene
I just pinned a comment about this issue - I did notice it but didn't think I have something to say that is "what nobody says about ...".
Is all..
GGF
We dont talk about the HUGE kraken?! Okay… 😮
Kraken? I asked Google about the difference between a kraken and an octopus: "In summary, if you see a sea creature with eight sucker-covered arms and a round shape, that's an octopus. But if it's got a long, thin, triangular shape and 10 limbs-eight arms and two tentacles-it's a squid. If you see it swallowing a ship, it's a kraken."
So, I didn't see it swallow a ship, I can't tell if it's a Kraken... LOL.
But really, I spent a good amount of time looking for some detail about that thing that nobody else mentioned, and couldn't find anything worth putting into the video... That's why...
what about the Huge Giant ?!Boss?! thing that has the same lighting stripe in the face like the monlotihs from NMS ? =D
Indeed it does. Thank you for pointing it out! Adding it to the list of finds, and I hope to put this in the next video - with proper credit, of course.
GGF
Hey, used this from you in my new video - check it out - ruclips.net/video/aptysANmAg4/видео.html - Thanks again!
I need this game
You and me both, traveler. And a bazillion others.
At 6:37 there seems to be some kind of campfire/ orange light on the ground. It's very hard to see due to the clouds and trees, and is only on screen for a few frames...
I have to admit - I can't see it.
Yeah it's really hard to spot.
So just before 6:38, it looks like a camp fire and structure suddenly pops in (LOD issue?) on the bottom left, just as the dragon is about to crest that hill. Though it's pretty useless information I'd say, as it's impossible to clearly see what that might be ^^
@@BlackmopsHDI see what your talking about. Something red. I'm on my phone right now. I'll have yo look at it tomorrow on my higher resolution monitor.

Not a road, a dry riverbed.
I had the same thought, but at the left side of the scene, you can see water, and it doesn't look like shallow, muddy riverbed that's drying out, so I didn't want to make a bold claim. I guess I should have...
I've started working on a follow-up video, and will include this point, and mention you, of course.
GGF
@@ggfnmsvids no need to mention me haha it's just a little nitpick of course, I did enjoy the video so I look forward to the next
