  • My build review of the Team Associated B7 Kit. If I had any issues during my build, they are recapped in the video if you didn't watch the build series. Thoroughly enjoyed the build quality of this kit. Would highly recommend the kit if you are on the fence. Easy to drive, very forgiving, great cornering speed, and super plush suspension with the 13mm shocks.

Appreciate the videos I used your build video for the 6.4 and it was very helpful, I was wondering if you can tell me if the B-7 body will fit on the B6.4. Thanks

Did you end up with leftover bearings? I have no idea where 2 of them are supposed to go lol they are strange ones not like the rest in the kit..... Maybe they are for the B7d kit?..

You have the carpet kit, yeah? The two small spare bearings go into the dirt kit diff. They just give both kits the same bearing bag.

Which speed controller do you use?
Which would you recommend for 17.5 motor thanks

I use the Hobbywing XR10 Stock Spec ESC - amzn.to/42mWhBz
Reasons I like it for 17.5 Motors:
Higher amps compared to their Justock ESC
      More tuning options
      Small form factor
      Reasonably priced
Another option I would recommend would be the Hobbywing XR10 Pro Elite - amzn.to/49i0PL2
      More tuning options
Can handle more powerful motors if you ever decided to run MOD, but I'm not sure it's the best value for 17.5
I can't tell the difference between the two when driving (I would consider myself an intermediate racer). A more experienced racer may notice the difference, but I just can't justify the cost difference ($100+) for my 17.5 buggy.
