You enthusiasm explaining the property make looking at videos through your eyes so real.. This house is a dream.. The price is amazing compared to a house here in Las Vegas NV. USA.. You can't buy a mobile home in a good senior mobile home park for this price.. I love this house and your ideas are great.. Myself I want the other piece of property. I think of what I could grow on it..

I had thought that too. Very similar. I think its ....
"O Mary! we crown thee with blossoms today,
Queen of the Angels, Queen of the May,
O Mary! we crown thee with blossoms today,
Queen of the Angels, Queen of the May."
      From May Crowning!
But I do hear the Ave Maria in there...

@taranscott155 Two years ago while looking at property Portugal I came across a beautiful property for 140K. It had a beautiful modern home on new condition with a great swimming pool and 5plus acres of fruit nuts grapes etc. All well kept and taken well care of all walking distance to town. For me I would not have the help or knowledge to take care of the property. I still think of that beautiful property. Only place I saw there like that. Most properties there have old run down houses you must restore. They have very restrictive rules for restoration and what you can do. They have restrictions on how long you can stay their even if you bought property. For a period time you have to leave for awhile before you can come back to your property. Then I discovered beautiful Sicily from a channel I followed with cheap properties and sea views so beautiful and I have not looked back only for that particular property I mentioned.

O Mary! we crown thee with blossoms today,

I sang this every May in my Catholic grammar school for 8 years for "May Crowning" and a lucky 8th grade girl would get to put a Crown of Flowers on the Statute of Mary in our church. It was such a Big Deal. All parents filming it! What memories you've given me!! Lovely town, great vid! I see the kitchens you show and I want to cook in them! Thank you!

    Im from Chicago. Our
"Chicago Windows" have one Big 8 or 12 foot Picture window for looking out of with 2 side sashes that have screens that open for air.

The machine room has more than enough space to get wired up for solar (you mentioned there are already panels on the roof, you could get them rewired to run the house via inverter(s)), replace the boiler with a ground source heat pump (or air source, but since the land is there...), and that could pretty much sort out all of your heating and electric bills. You could also put a hefty amount of battery storage in there to cover for rainy days and blackouts. Then you'd be self sufficient in terms of heating, energy and water (possibly you'd want to make use of the council irrigation for the small cost, to take care of any garden projects, and keep the well water for drinking and house use.
If you were *very* eco-minded, you could probably sort out a grey water system for irrigation as well, taking the waste water that isn't sewage contaminated, and using it to water plants, saves it all going in the septic tank
Prezzo does indeed look Stunning, and the house is quirky, but very cozy and homey looking (in a good way!). I really like it :)
With the house itself, here's what I'd do:
I'm with you on the kitchen location, the middle room is a better kitchen, and if you're stuck for table space, you could use the area where the door and stairs are as a dining area (although to do that you might have to play with the stairs and/or some of the interior walls?), then have everything the other side of the remaining bits of wall on the other side of the doorway and stairs as the living area. You'd have to rip out the kitchen stuff that's in there, and I'd do a remodel of the middle room kitchen - new worktops, and a bit more cabinet space, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, induction hob, electric oven(s) and microwave built in. Maybe you could re-use some of what's in the living area?
For later, I'd remodel both the existing bathrooms, with the downstairs one I'd make room for a bigger shower, shrink the sink, and maybe move the washing machine somewhere else?
For the existing upstairs bathroom, I'd get rid of the bath tub, and replace it with a big old rainfall shower
I'd also add the en-suite to the master bedroom, on the wall closest to the terrace, and look at opening up the small window for the en-suite, rather than take away the big window from the main room
With the outside, I'd hook up the council irrigation, and start growing some fruit and vegetables in part of the land that's already there - tomatoes, maybe plant a lemon tree or two, some greens and herbs.
At the back, where the patio is, I think there's enough room for a swimming pool where the grass is, behind the patio?
And I'd definitely thin out the hedging if allowed, it looks kinda out of control!
Anyway, that's my thoughts/ramblings. Plus, I'm still waiting on the lottery win before I can afford to do anything like this :D
Apologies for the wall of text!

At least they have a place to go! Many areas are left to not include people in USA.Any older buildings or open ground is turned into a bank or other non human connection place.Unless a strarbucks in a mall. I see places to sit and chat without buying anything. And soooo clean! Not yet seen a tiny piece of trash outside a door or on the plazas. And always flowers in pots, on balconies etc. People in the rural town we retired to as we camped and fished here leave the same dead twig pot they got for Mother's day 10 years ago sitting on the porch or front yard along with the broken bike, the rusty garbage can no longer used. This town against California laws does not enforce weed abatement. Two lots on each side of us have to have 8 foot tall ragweed before they finally do something and just whack off above roots so its back to tree size in a short time!

Dave, I have a question for you. I know Italy is a Catholic country. But I am an evangelical Christian. I found only about 9% of Italy are non-Catholic Christians. Is there any way to find out more about different Churches in the area. That’s the main thing holding me back from thinking about Italy. Thank you. Also, as a woman who cooks, instead of only looking at the vaulted ceilings could you also go over what type of appliances, features in the kitchens? Like sink, stove, oven, refrigerator, cabinet space, pantry? If there’s not a refrigerator, let us know if there’s electrical sufficient to support a Fridge.
I really would like to see more time spent on the house and less time on the village, countryside, and outdoor yard and garden areas. I also consider bedrooms for offices. Especially if they’re small or narrow.
Perhaps you could do a town view, put it on your RUclips and refer back to it for each home that is close to that town?
Also everything looks so dry outside. Is Italy experiencing problems with drought? By comparison I live in the Appalachian Mountains and Forest. The place I live in is part of an Arboreal rainforest. Everything here during Spring through Fall is green and lush with massive trees everywhere.
Also on most your videos you put if it’s a Town Home. But if it’s in the Country, please add country home with land or something like that. I know you only have so much space on title’s.
Just some suggestions. Thank you, Sir!

You never mentioned the price or amount of acres of the land next door. AI would prefer the land next door if you could put in an olive grove and build a modern tiny house. I have noticed the homes I have viewed have a lot of wasted space and most have odd lay out of rooms.

What's with the bars on the windows and the security gate with cameras at the entrance? Kind of an albatross. Price seams reasonable for the sq. footage but alot of work.

Dave, I think the price is a wee bit high, are they negotiable?

😂😂 If you have a ton of money to put into it, it's great. But paint is the very least of what it needs. Potential and view, but it'll cost you.

It's been getting upwards and even over 45°c here daily for the last few weeks so I dont want to hear your "it's boiling hot" there Dave. 😮😂😅😂😅😂😅
The only thing I really like about this place is the land and its distance from (un)civilization. 😂😅
As flat as it is there though you could be in Kansas. A hazy day and you can't see the mountains to tell you otherwise.
    Ciao!
