Cross Kart gets Gauges, Tach + Dashboard!

- Our custom cross kart baja buggy build is really shaping up, with a powerful 70hp 750cc engine, front and rear brakes, a 5 point safety harness and more. Today, we're adding a critical gauge cluster and hand protector to the CarsandCameras cross kart. The custom fabricated addition will add in form and function, giving us engine RPM, (eventually) speed, and rollover protection for our hands in the event of a gnarly crash.

Y'all should create a "longtube header" type exhaust for the 750. Yeah it sounds cool now, but I think connecting all the exhaust ports to a single rear pipe would make it sound more tuned like a street bike, reduce the potential for fire hazards when riding it in a field or something, and give you the ability to install a muffler for when you're riding in noise sensitive areas such as your neighborhood. Just a thought.... really enjoying these vids though
I also think it would look bad ass to have one pipe centered above the engine for an exhaust! Lol
Would actually increase hp collecting in 1 pipe too. Only itb likes individual exhausts
It's called a kerker 4 into 1
a nice 4 into 2 into 1 of the 180 degree variant with a shorty muffler, or 4 into 2 setup with 1 3/4 glasspacks poking out the back would make good torque, and a nice exhaust note. With the dual exhaust (4 into 2) the exhaust note would be quieter at lower RPMS and get progressive louder as you get on it
Merge all the headers into one 3 inch pipe. That is all.
Putting in work and the cops show up... that’s how you know you’ve made it.

Get a flat top steering wheel then you'll be able to see the full cluster

Im amazed it took this long. may be that crazy open header, like i said last week a nice four into one would give you more torque and help keep the neighbors from doing just what they did...when i lived on the east coast people called the cops after just one noise

I highly doubt you guys will manage to flip that thing. Between the small wheels, wide track width, and low CoG, it's more likely to just spin out. However I am extremely glad to see you guys are taking your safety super seriously.

For the love of hearing and performance. Put a real 4-1 exhaust on there!! You can flip it and put it above the engine. And it would have helped with the cops!! Smh

Tell the neighbors you are going to start raising peacocks and taking up chainsaw log carving. Old TVs would make a whistling buzzing noise as they warmed up. You get up in age and feel less immortal. That TV sound is all you will hear. Cool thing about it is the throbbing tone it has. Lets you know the heart is still working.

I remember when me and my brothers use to build carts like that. It was almost an every day thing for us though.. We had so much stuff for go carts and mini bikes that the cops actually thought it was stolen.. He didn't know that we run a shop there fixing the Neighborhood kids go-carts..

look for an old kerker header for that old inline. Those old inline motors sound amazing with a ole Kerker header JMO

Y'all need to find a place when you can run free and do what you want to create your own little world with mud pits hill climbs and such with places you can get some major air with. Police can be a bummer sometime I ought to know I work with them everyday. LOL Yes I work for the local PD. Bummer I know.
