With the tires on the outs it's time to get them replaced thanks to Four State Enterprise. Then back to realize we need to make some adjustments to make cleaning the tank out better. Thanks for watching along.
Thank you My Heritage for partnering on todays video. Click the link to give it a try your self bit.ly/FarmingwithDuffy
Hey Duffy. You have a big pond of water at your place. Use trash pump and flush with water from your pond. That’s how we clean our bull wagon. Then cutt out more of each baffle. Nobody can call you lazy. 👍
100%👍
And add a "hole" all the way to the front so you flush the whole tank
My buddy took one of those tests with all his kids come to find out. All 6 kids weren't his. He had a heart attack, but now he's happy. He's a passport bro.😂
The truck turbo sounded amazing I the beginning of the video. 👍👍👍
Harbor Freight has a 2 in trash pump and you can get a fire hose that they sell there. Go to your pond and pump out of it.
Doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to work! Happy Birthday!!
My Mother was a Duffy from New Zealand, 2nd generation from Ireland. My Father 1st generation NZ from Denmark. UI would never use anti seize on wheel nuts or any important nut, you need the friction to give you the proper torque setting.
You are half Holstein and 1/4 Grinsey. And 1/4. Asher.😂❤
I always anti seize the studs and nobody will ever convince me otherwise.
It's a good thing you are resourceful it will serve you well.
I'd recommend installing a spray nozzle in the front compartment and hook up a 2-3 inch thrash pump to it with clean water.
Happy 21st birthday chris
happy birthday chris.
We must all get much the same heritage because i got mine done a few years ago and i got much the same as you and i am from and living in Ireland
Happy birthday farmer. You are doing a great job
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TO YOU CHRIS, FROM THE BROWN FAMILY, WE LOVE YOUR SHOW !!
Great new tires but do not drive too tired. Sleeep!👍👍👍
Hi, from South Africa. Happy birthday. Have a blast!
Chris get a 2” high pressure water pump 100 gpm at 100psi and a 1.5” fire hose with a fire nozzle that you can adjust front straight stream to fog pattern, with all the oil trucks i run we had a lot of formation sand at times would end up in our tank trucks. We had blank hatches at every compartment so we could flush from the top out. Going inside is not advised life is to short to get knocked down with h2s you are a dad now!!! Flushed many of them that way and they come as clean as the day they were new… more water volume the better!!!
Yay Welsh 🏴👋🏻
Great video Chris thank you can't wait for next video thank you for sharing and your time was really great never miss a video 👍
You need a leg tank on that trailer so you can have some gravity clean water to wash it/you/yanko off.
My 2cents. That pipe in the top front. Hook water to it. Lots of volume, pressure would help. flush the tank.
Chris if only you had a hydraulic lift on the front to tilt the tank, but for now you need to cut out the bottoms of the openings from center of both sides strait down on the baffles and maybe install a top agitator pump plus a bottom feed line that takes liquids off the top to pump out the sides of the pipe through slots cuts NOT round holes. Wink!😉👍👍 Chris I am 1/2 Philippine and 1/4 Irish plus Spanish/ Portuguese. In finding this out I’ve written almost all and plane to visit, I’m hoping it Doesn’t turn into the Grizwalts family vacation. When they got the address wrong. 😂😂😂😂
Haul a couple loads out of the silage runoff pit . That's what we did when we hauled manure with a truck and tanker. Or pig shit is like water that works to if available
I used to do Sealcoating for a lot of years. We used to put sand in it to help with traction. We also had paddles mounted to a center beam with a gear sprocket turned with an electric motor that would keep it agitated. We also used a latex additive that helped keep it suspended in the liquid.
On our manure tanks we have manholes in the front for flushing purposes. Highly recommend.
Single coolest thing about Ridge Wallets is DOT reflector tape will stick to them.
Happy Birthday. Great video’s
Build a stainless steel spray nozzle bar on top in the tank, so you can connect to a 60 psi water Fire hose : to flush and clean the tank
you need a mud sucker pump and a lot of water that will clean most of it out.
I would look at adding a spray nozzle/sweep to the front of the tank you can connect a hose and flood water from the front to flush the sand out.
I think the best solution may actually be the stupid one: add a 2-way in the middle of the up-pipe and shove a pipe up from the back inside the tank that is open at the front end and has a hole aimed down and another aimed to the opposite side in each compartment. Would definitely want to set up the reinforcements on the up-pillar of the boom first (welding the lower stuff in, make it easier to keep it all straight) before you cut it and fit the second flapper. You'd want the interior pipe off to the side from the pillar and use a 90° on it so you can get a corkscrew (shed screw anchor on a chimney rod) in to clean it out if it jams up. Give it an upwards slope from back to front and it'll be easy to hose out.
Looks awesome. I met you on route 40 in Hartford today
You could pull up to creek or dugout and pump water in it and flush it out
Wow that was a ton of sand in there . I never seen a tank filled that far inside with a so called solid material. Insane amount of weight in there keeping you from fully filling with liquids. Keep fighting the fight. Yeah military contracts were surely not best option & bang for the buck like those tires pure junk & age done them no favors. Happy Birthday Chris & stop playing with your Poop lol.
Chris, Changing tires out, your ex military trailer would have been built to a certain price, certain spec, and would have been designed so that wheels/tires would have been interchangeable with what the tractor unit was using. Known as 'Bar Grips' , they were crossply/bias ply tires, well known for wearing fast and getting very hot for highway use, but made to certain military specs. Across the pond we would have gone down to 10.00-20 because of availability and what we call here Construction and Use regulation which limit load per tire and therefore axle weights. We would fit 11R22.5 on tubeless wheels, so that in theory one size fits both of your trailers. This day and age we would have used 385/65R22.5 on the wide 22.5 trailer wheel.
Happy Birthday Chris, you Sir. Definitely work your ass off. You need a fire hose to wash that sand out. Make sure you get it clean before getting in there to cut or weld anything. That poo will get you sick or even worse.
Don't need a plasma table. Get one of them Arc Droids. Grind Hard Plumbing had one, then Fab Rats got one and so did Matt's Offroad Recovery. Much cheaper option. Maybe reach out to them. I know they were helping sponsor videos for Grind Hard and Fab Rats.
Chris. Go talk to your local fire department. They may use there water to clean out your tank. They can use it as a training drill. It's worth a try? Good luck my friend. Thanks for the daily videos. God bless.
Run a 1/2” black iron pipe down the inside belly of the tank with a bunch of 1/8” holes drilled in. Then you can plumb air or water in it to agitate the tank. Or add a timer on a air solonoid to hook it to the truck so it purges while hauling.
Run you a separate line up to the front to mix it up with.
Need a rain suit
Find a spot and flush it with a lot of water at high pressure like fire hose pressure
He needs 2 90°corners that he can screw on the front cap by the stairs and a large waterpump
@@willianvos3521 doesn't do much good until all the sand is flushed out...
New Access doors on the roof between baffles and pressure washer
Too bad you don’t know anyone with a water truck and high volume/pressure pump too flush it out.🤔🤷♂️
Duffy am sure you know the military no longer uses that style tire there replacements are much better you should check actions for newer military tires mite be able to get a good deal on them ,Happy Birthday
We run 2 houle 5350 gollan tanks after everyday we clean them out. Open tje plug on bottom, let a water house run in it over with the plug open then start shoveling
Its all part of it
Take a high pressure water hose and spray it out
you could run retreads on tanker
I think you are going to wish the new riser was taller. I think it’s going to splash out more than you want. Especially if the manure gets foamy… but I could be wrong
We are battling foam in ours today. Side note: trucks break. Power steering hose today. At least an easy fix. Keep trucking. From Michigan
B safe man.from ireland

Wales, england, north ireland and scotland are part of the united kingdom
You guy's need to install sand traps on your trailers , just before the pump .
Take a 1000 nurse trailer with a 2 inch pump and build a 1 inch nozzle end for the hose. Get. In and wash it out.
I get it. When on the farm do as a farmer does. Been there , done that and personally guilty as well. Please Chris. Have a friend outside as a hole watch just in case you get overcome by the lack of oxygen. At least they can call for help. I have seen in the last three years 4 individuals die inside tanker trailers due to lack of oxygen. Please be careful.
None of us want to hear of your demise.
Has a kid and the next thing you know he’s advertising DNA kits.
funny haha lmao
Hi Chris I have 3-315-80R 22.5 20ply 10.000 lb rating that need to be recapped an no one in my area use them let me know if you can use them. Good luck lenny
Happy Birthday Chris
Tom Pemberton Farm Life fitted a sand/solid seperator so they only have liquid manure to spread with tractor tanker and then they spread the sand/solid with manure spreader, I’m not sure if any dairy farmers over your way duffy use sand/solid separators or not???
I don't know a lot of the big American farms claim it's to much volume to put through so it takes several seperators to do it, so becomes cost prohibitive.
@@Otherrandomguy42how many head of cows do they run milking???
Need fire hose in pipe at front full bore
Welcome to the Celtic Nation! From a proud Cornishman!
Well, if the farming thing does not work out for you then you may have a career selling Sham Wows and Slap Choppers! 🤣
Considering that at some point UK has been occupied by the Italians (Roman empire), vikings (Scandinavia), Saxons (Germany) and the Normans (France) it's surprising there weren't more countries listed in your DNA results.
When i find your Chanel i was at first thinking that you are Irish working in USA
Like I said yesterday flush out the tank with water
When you're hauling from somewhere that's having sand issues, would your other tanker be better?
Hey Chris like my boss said if you dont want it to break leave it parked but when it's parked i dont make money!!
Know the tire man can’t go home to his wife tonight.thanks chis😊
I seen tanks with about 12 to 18 inches cut off bottom of baffles
Keep your pickup and put a service bed on the back???
Is a 20 or 30feet dry van trailer a option to turn into a mobile workshop?? Instead of a servicetruck.
Throw a workbench on one side tools and parts on the other side and you all can easily move it
It’s not illegal to use anti seize, however drivers don’t check wheels nuts after 35 miles and then keep check regularly and that’s why they come off and or drivers just don’t check wheel nuts, yellow plastic wheel nut indicators help, there popular in mining
Happy birthday Chris..... Dont work yourself into the ground bro!
Ya look very tired in last few videos. I know ya gotta keep working. I know it needs done but ya wanna get to the end of it alive brother. Keep up the awesome content & again Happy birthday from liverpool uk.🍰
wow...genealogy has been a passion of mine. Welch/German/Irish/Choctaw....BYU has a site that will link you to people you are related to. Im 7th cousins with Robin Williams. Family search, a free site, creates pedigree charts, pictures, ancestorial info. can they raise the supply boom off the pond bottom? maybe a fire hose with more pressure to was out? I would cut horseshoe out more...
No worries Chris grinder and paint will hide anything guess how I know
Andy hourigans new trailers have recirculation line on the front of the trailer for the sand
can you not hose the sand out whit high pressure water like a firehose . and a happy b'day to you
Did you go to Grand Gorge for your tires ??
if I were you I would get a trash pump and just fill the tank up out of a pond or something then you have just straight water to get the sand out and that hole on the top in the front will defintly help to flush it out.
Everybody was wondering in New Jersey and Pennsylvania what caused the earthquake now we all know duffys wallet hit the ground
😂😂😂😂😂😂
We actually got bigger horseshoes in our trucks cuz we every now and then we'll get a wind of hay
All brand new equipment on our logging outfit, around 2 million and stuff breaks down. To be honest the brand new tractors always have little problems that keep you broke down, hydraulic hoses rubbing through, computer faults and such. Emissions………… always emissions
I don’t care what kind of trucking you do you will always have to work on your truck it’s just proper maintenance anyone who says other wise is not trucking
Ice box performance can build you a new radiator
Find your local boat ramp duffy and back it in and out of water flushing it into lake😂😂😂😂
If you don’t use anti seize on budd wheels in the rust belt you are asking for misery if you don’t change tires very often. The inner and outer nuts will lock together
A piece of tin or plywood between you and the drain would help keep the shit off you. 3foot wide by 4 feet wide and strap to the truck somewhere so you always have if you use it should be able to rinse off somewhere
never go into the tank without breathing protection!! life-threatening
Why don’t you get a water pump you still have send in there
your a mix mo british etc of sorts bless you
Can you fill it with water n flush it out??.duffy good Irish name 👏👏🇮🇪☘️🔨🔨🔨🐕🐕
Chris i know there not cheap and you really want a service truck but premier welders make some awesome alternator welders. A lot of off roaders use them for trail repairs. Great video as always. Happy belated Birthday.
You shit it, We get it
We aint haulin milk
You can't cut the baffles out very dangerous. You have to fill it with fresh water and rinse it 3 or 4 times
Who the hell told you that park the truck on an upward slope so the back end of the trail is lowest open the entire pump housing and all the gas will go to the back and go right out it's heavier than air so it goes to the ground. I've cut welded on Manure tanks more than
🚛🌾
Too bad you didn't have a fire hose
just thought of a good name a muck haulage company with the back of them trailers mudded up paint rear end pink with a crack line in the middle call it mucky bums manure haulage
