    Hey Duffy. You have a big pond of water at your place. Use trash pump and flush with water from your pond. That’s how we clean our bull wagon. Then cutt out more of each baffle. Nobody can call you lazy. 👍

    Harbor Freight has a 2 in trash pump and you can get a fire hose that they sell there. Go to your pond and pump out of it.

    Chris get a 2” high pressure water pump 100 gpm at 100psi and a 1.5” fire hose with a fire nozzle that you can adjust front straight stream to fog pattern, with all the oil trucks i run we had a lot of formation sand at times would end up in our tank trucks. We had blank hatches at every compartment so we could flush from the top out. Going inside is not advised life is to short to get knocked down with h2s you are a dad now!!! Flushed many of them that way and they come as clean as the day they were new… more water volume the better!!!

  • @kaydog2008
    @kaydog2008 17 дней назад +1

    Chris if only you had a hydraulic lift on the front to tilt the tank, but for now you need to cut out the bottoms of the openings from center of both sides strait down on the baffles and maybe install a top agitator pump plus a bottom feed line that takes liquids off the top to pump out the sides of the pipe through slots cuts NOT round holes. Wink!😉👍👍 Chris I am 1/2 Philippine and 1/4 Irish plus Spanish/ Portuguese. In finding this out I’ve written almost all and plane to visit, I’m hoping it Doesn’t turn into the Grizwalts family vacation. When they got the address wrong. 😂😂😂😂

    I used to do Sealcoating for a lot of years. We used to put sand in it to help with traction. We also had paddles mounted to a center beam with a gear sprocket turned with an electric motor that would keep it agitated. We also used a latex additive that helped keep it suspended in the liquid.

    I would look at adding a spray nozzle/sweep to the front of the tank you can connect a hose and flood water from the front to flush the sand out.

  • @prjndigo
    @prjndigo 17 дней назад +1

    I think the best solution may actually be the stupid one: add a 2-way in the middle of the up-pipe and shove a pipe up from the back inside the tank that is open at the front end and has a hole aimed down and another aimed to the opposite side in each compartment. Would definitely want to set up the reinforcements on the up-pillar of the boom first (welding the lower stuff in, make it easier to keep it all straight) before you cut it and fit the second flapper. You'd want the interior pipe off to the side from the pillar and use a 90° on it so you can get a corkscrew (shed screw anchor on a chimney rod) in to clean it out if it jams up. Give it an upwards slope from back to front and it'll be easy to hose out.

    Wow that was a ton of sand in there . I never seen a tank filled that far inside with a so called solid material. Insane amount of weight in there keeping you from fully filling with liquids. Keep fighting the fight. Yeah military contracts were surely not best option & bang for the buck like those tires pure junk & age done them no favors. Happy Birthday Chris & stop playing with your Poop lol.

  • @henryhurricane
    @henryhurricane 17 дней назад

    Chris, Changing tires out, your ex military trailer would have been built to a certain price, certain spec, and would have been designed so that wheels/tires would have been interchangeable with what the tractor unit was using. Known as 'Bar Grips' , they were crossply/bias ply tires, well known for wearing fast and getting very hot for highway use, but made to certain military specs. Across the pond we would have gone down to 10.00-20 because of availability and what we call here Construction and Use regulation which limit load per tire and therefore axle weights. We would fit 11R22.5 on tubeless wheels, so that in theory one size fits both of your trailers. This day and age we would have used 385/65R22.5 on the wide 22.5 trailer wheel.

    Run a 1/2” black iron pipe down the inside belly of the tank with a bunch of 1/8” holes drilled in. Then you can plumb air or water in it to agitate the tank. Or add a timer on a air solonoid to hook it to the truck so it purges while hauling.
