i also have a sirui 35mm anamorphic MFT, but i can't seem to fit it into my original BMPCC, it won't slide and lock in place, it feels like it gets stuck once i place the lens into the mount and won't turn =(
I had the same problem with the first unit I got. The screw kept coming in the way and it wouldn't lock. Although it worked fine on my other MFT cameras. I got it replaced and the new one worked on the pocket original.
@@HQFHasanQureshiFilms - ah gotcha.. that makes sense. So I basically need to replace the mounting element of the lens ( I got mine used so I don't think I could send it back for a replacement) - thanks for the insight!
@@vonderfuel actually, I ended up twisting the lens a little bit harder and it snapped into place, maybe it was just more than just a snug fit, but it works for me now
Hi, actually you have both the items i'm planning to buy: this sirui 50 mm anamorphic + the moza mini p. These two is 900 (or 910) gramms, which is the max payload of the gimbal. Did you tried to use this lens on this gimbal (wit the BMPCC OG)? Is it working? Or too much?
Personally haven't tried this combo with the mini-p. Usually I use the Dji Ronin S series gimbals because I add an extra battery plate for bmpcc and ND so it gets heavy. I think the bmpcc+Sirui50mm+ND setup might be a bit front heavy for the mini-p, I am not totally sure because I haven't tried it. I'd suggest you to also check out Ronin SC 1st gen. It cost a little more, but still falls in the category of budget gimbals and it can take more weight.
👍🏾👍🏾That lens is definitely a Beast, and your footage looks great!
Thank you! I am also looking for 24mm. Did you get the 17mm TTArtisan?
@@HQFHasanQureshiFilms Cool deal. Ah, not yet; instead I ordered a Helios 58mm, which is supposed to arrive by today. 😅
@@FilmSpook That's nice

@@robsterroll3806 You're welcome! Hope it works out
I have the same problem. It fits on my Lumix camera fine, but the BMPCC original it won't screw in place. Have you found a fix for that?

You can't upgrade the firmware and desqueeze?
Not on the BMPCC OG. You can have desqueeze view turned on the BMPCC 4K to see how it looks, but still need to desqueeze in post.
@@HQFHasanQureshiFilms this or the 35mm or 75mm
@@sergioknuf I'd go with 35mm
@@HQFHasanQureshiFilms why?
@@sergioknuf On M43 it 70mm equivalent. I prefer that range.
