You should play around with using your tire shine in a foam sprayer. I use it on a lot of trucks with mud tires that have knobby shoulder lugs, which makes it very hard and time consuming to apply with an applicator. Foamed it on, and let it settle and then wiped off excess, and desired sheen. Saved myself about 45 minutes that way.
I use a cheap hvlp gun
Just use a spray bottle and a tire pad 😂 you guys make easy stuff so complicated sometimes
I’ve always washed bottom to top, as you say, it’s easier to see missed areas, love your videos, that’s one hell of a workshop 👌🏻👍🏻
Don't lose any sleep over the guys saying your doing something wrong. They seem to be all knowing as long as they can tell you so in the comment section of you tube. Great job bro.
I used to work for an asphalt company a couple years back. My job was wash bay so I bet you could guess how heavy the cleaning was. We used to just use acid on all the aluminum parts. We’d just spray it on, no scrubbing needed, would take any and every dirt, grime, spots etc. off. Worked like a charm and the aluminum looked beautiful right after.
Did you down stream the acid and did you use it on paint? I know you shouldn't hit glass
I've got on a binge of watching your videos over the last few days lol. I really started taking an interest in detailing again (used to do it professionally in the early 2000's). I think washing from bottom to top back to bottom works great! I think it all goes to how dirty, the size, and what you want to accomplish as far as cleanliness all comes into play. I have an order in my cart and look forward to trying out your product! Awesome videos, glad to see an entrepreneur making it!
Nice truck, worked with Jeff many years ago at CT MULCH
That truck looks amazing. I just got my S&S for my vehicles at home the other day and can't wait to try it. Now I just need to pick up the DLime 90 and Heavy Duty to try on our locomotive!
Top notch garage setup for Heavy equipment vehicles . I’m blown away. Also Kona is an excellent German Shepard pup👍
I am a pressure washer mechanic for a industrial pressure washer company. So this is my job/my life. You are totally washing in the correct manner. You always should be rinsing bottom up. You push the soap around more going bottom up than top down. Keep up your good work!
You always wash top down. All that dirt just flows back over what you’ve cleaned. You’ll never get done. Doesn’t even make sense.
Really sweet rig ....very enjoyable video !!!
Thanks Kirk great to hear from ya!
While I love the detail factory tire brush, especially on low profile tires, for literally anything bigger than the average car tire I use a Great Value multi-purpose brush I found at Walmart for like $3. It's legitimately my all time favorite tire brush and it's basically the same thing as the detail factory tire brush only scaled up a bit. It's honestly perfect for tires especially on trucks.
I use a drill brush on truck tires bro no time to waste! lol
I love you’re actually honest
I love love love your channel soooo much..the chemicals, equipment, monster vehicles and the explanations about all the products..oh and the foamy goodness..perfect...
I recommend using the 2 bucket method when using m-shine. 50/50 with 2 bucket method will go along way.
Seeing the fleet that started the product. Tells me, I’m using the right stuff! Started using the touchless and the snake oil, this summer. Instantly, was extremely happy with how it left my truck. Just ran out last week, on the touchless.. now, looking to make another order with M-Shine.. if anyones looking for a great product, Chem X is it!!
Shoutout from Wisconsin. Love the videos you make it so easy to follow easy to understand what your products do how they perform why I love using them ...
Damn, that's looking absolutely awsesome in the sun! Stunning job!
Absolutely love seeing these trucks on the highway. They’re a couple towns over from me
I so need to find those grommets for the bottles! I seen that in a previous video, wasn't sure if it was a new bottle or a mod to one! I hate undoing the bottle everytime I need a refil 🤣
Great video, great product! Im using stars and stripes all the time in my business.
This was fun to watch. Thanks for sharing 🙏
Well I’m a believer used it tonight on both my truck and car and can’t believe how it works will be ordering more
Awesome wash... And beautiful Peterbilt... Watching from Brazil 🇧🇷
Definitely the most satisfying detailing/washing vids on yt
Damn thanks much appreciated 😁👏❌💯
@@ChemX is that water nozzle a standard fuel gun ?
Washing machine porn
@@ChemX привет . Сколько стоит такая мойка трака ?
Спасибо .
Jerry has a bad ass fleet.
Amazing job and wow, Amazing Pete!!
People whining about degreaser on tires are probably thinking that way due to experiences with degreasers/APCs used on interior plastics/trim/vinyl. In my opinion tires are built to withstand much worse, and if degreaser dries them out at all, you’re literally covering them in hydrating tire shine after….. as you said, “do you even drive on your tires bro” 😂😂
A lot of people say that it accelerates the rubber deterioration and actually makes the browning come back worse/faster.
I honestly haven't looked into the science of it all that much but in my COMPLETELY anecdotal experience I haven't seen that to be the case.
My thought is that the tire is going to wear out from ya know.... driving on it, way before it's going to wear out because someone used a degreaser on it. If you're really really concerned just make sure you stick to tire dressings that also hydrate and nourish the rubber or use a dedicated rubber conditioner occasionally.
@@muchachogrande2019 browning is by design I believe. Protects the tire.
@@johnbaron3070 correct and also correct that most degreasers will dry out that browning effect that keeps your tires from dry rotting faster.
Bro it’s a tire 😭😭
WOW!!! Amazing job👍🏽👍🏽
haha i see the srs guys at work all the time, i love their trucks. Small world
Very nice set up
Nice clean SRS ride.
That is a pretty cool truck you have keep it clean
For the mop thing, i use a ocedar microfiber mop (red stick, flat white microfiber head with blue stripes) ... I wrap a microfiber towel around the white mop head that comes with the ocedar mop head and tuck it behind the stretchy band of the white mop head and it t holds it perfectly
Kona is getting so big !!!! Beautiful German !!!
always enjoy your content chem
For the roof, I do it last before doing the tires and aluminum, stand on the motor and brush it then rinse it, best way to do it
That was fun. Thx
I came for the wash. Stayed for the dog!!!
in here that truck is clean
Amazing!
Bobby! What's up BIG DOG?! a few things . That small brush would be FANSTASTIC on vehicle tires👍. The roof of this truck doesn't get taken care of like the rest of the Truck. As a Truck driver myself, 50% of the time people dont do more than wash n rinse the roof. Most dont dry it nor do they wax or protect it! That roof takes ABUSE like nothing else. That BIG FIREBALL in the sky, aka the sun🌞, is BRUTAL on any surface and especially so on Flat surfaces; cooking All day from all angles! Oh and the rinsing BOTTOM UP!🤬 I have had a little push back on that as well. One guy basically told me I was an Idiot and asked who taught me how to wash a vehicle🤦♂️.. IGNORANCE is BLISS 🤣.. great Video brutha. Lovin' Kona! Take care Bob! Oh, a guy on the Tube is claiming some of these High ph Low ph systems are HARD on paint and arent High quality.... everyone has something to say... especially when they are selling soaps too😉🤯. peace Bob❌...
Beautiful!!!
Gran trabajo. Me encanta. Enhorabuena por el canal
love seeing these trucks on the road SICK
You cut your hair. It's not the messy "just woke up"look anymore. I liked it 🤣
Lol good news is it can always grow back😂👏
@@ChemX 🤣👌
Terrific job 👍🏻
Awesome vid man. Love their trucks. Missed ya at gear jammer. Still gotta get MJD out for a wash. Hope all is well.
I’d like to see you do a video with your products using a average homeowner power washer
Will still do the same job. His pressure is the same as the average home owner machine. He just has some more gallon flow than a home owners unit
Kona is getting soo big!! 🐶💛
That rig looks good
So much realestate to clean on that thing
Big job
good video I really like greetings and blessings from Monterrey Nuevo León Mexico 🇲🇽❤️
I like the gas pump water hose that's kool
you need to do more videos like this !
How about doing a cement tanker? Would love to see the results.
Been using chem X for a few years it the only thing I'll use , snake oil is awesome, works great on ceramic, stars an stripes really works great
I love your work buddy
Would love to see a complete inside and outside detail of a older Mack Granite like the 04-07 ones would love to see you go to work on one of those don’t know if u will see this or if we will ever get that truck but I pray we do man 🙏🏼 but another great video as always man 🔥
Nice!
Why I find your videos relaxing...idk
The IK 12's work great with high pH products! The multi pro 12 sadly doesn't have a shrader valve like the foam pro 12. But you can easily convert the foam to a high output multi! With the orange tip, block off the air inlet (with some tape) and remove the cotton filter from the lance. Now it sprays out loads of product, bigger flow rate than the multi!
Gonna be ordering some snake oil real soon to keep on the mine and the wifes new rides. Loving the content!
it does remove oils from the tires but only if you don't add protectant after
Local company to me always has his trucks clean!!
Guy has a good channel and a nice dog 🐕🐶
A friend of mine Hass 2015 Pete he uses winks rust remover on his stacks for rust stains and def deposits. He has wiped his truck down with it then waxed it he cleans his windows then uses glass cleaner
Yo the second the puppy came out you became my favorite detailer he is so cute 😍 I love german shepherds they're the best.
Edit: she is so 😍
Beautifulll big car😎😍👍
I put Snake Oil on my Black dump truck 6 months ago and still beads the water like it did when I applied it!
If I remember correctly, they started off as a paint and body shop for trucks originally
U should open a truck wash bro start on the East coast and who know might boom
Man who knows where this thing goes that would def be a great idea tho👏😁💯
Great content very informative also I’m a watch person what kind of watch are you wearing ? Thx
I would love to work in a place like this, it is my dream, I live in New Jersey.
Maybe wrap the first two or three feet of the pole in a silicone wrap so if you tap it against things it won't be metal making the contact. But for sure using a brush to agitate with the cleaner looks like the better way to go.
“Don’t blow dry the tires” 😂 whoever said that probably thinks you’re using a hair drier rather than a leaf blower.
Awesome video man I have bought your products all through your website man and let me tell you it works fkn amazin !!!! Saves me a bunch of time using the stars and strips. I have just one question though. Would I use the heavy duty purple liquid to substitute a brake buster to get all the dirt and stuff from the wheel?. Or what would I use?.
I love kona, such a gorgeous beast
The truck is ok too I guess lol
What about a swifter end like for floors to reach across?
should i apply snake oil in the foam cannon more on the runny side or more thick like foam?
With that PSI yeah it will clean
I wish they still made fruehauf super renews. It would be the nitequil for aluminum lol
Nice work my man, where can I purchase those particular chemicals you use they look like they work pretty good! I really love the whole set up with the cart and your shop👌🏾 top notch
9:47 On a new tire theres a coating on it and all you have to do after a wash is apply a tire shine/protectant
Nice
In the time of all this nice chat, I've already washed and I'm already on the highway!!
What wheel polisher is a good recommendation? Looking to get into polishing my wheels.
How often/have you shipped international? Would be great to have products like these over the water
Don’t look at my mic like that lol 🤣 what a great wash 🫶🏻 Love to see your products in action.
The truck looked amazing. What would you have to get for that wash detail? Which ever you want to call it? How much would you have to charge?
It definitely does not destroy the tire.
have a look at marolex sprayers..very good quality
What is your concrete in the bay sealed with? Thanks, Great Channel!
How did u do the gas pump setup
Do you use a dual wand and a black soap tip for rinse?
Will it work on pontoon boat tubes?
I never dry the paint on my Pete lol i only dry the chrome thats where you can really tell the water spots, cant really notice water spots on the white paint
Epic
Pretty impressive job u do lol
I'd love to get my truck into your studio, how would one go about getting that to happen?
I have a some questions
I want to use this on my rv any issues with the rubber roof ?
Are the chemicals safe for using outside in my rv lot
Will your M-Shine hurt the gel coat on a boat. I want to use it on my center console tower and my boat trailer but I’m not sure how it will react to the gel coat. Do you know of anybody that has used it on a boat?
