I would like to see your cat sporting a mushroom visor.

@shelbyhuff6775 not a bad idea to get her an Outer Rims visor -- after all, her future is bright! 🌞

Lovely video! Thanks. The only thing I would have dome differently s I would have taken the soil and needles off the stem before throwing them into the basket, because that avoids needles & stuff getting into the lamellas where they weren't when I picked the shrooms.

@jmoehr747 totally agreed. We can do a better job of cleaning them before putting them in the basket. Sometimes, we just can't help ourselves before picking another one 🤪

Nice patches brother. Enjoying your content. I need to find some more patches and my elusive target the porcini.

@@radiantheatingservicesnw3465 awesome dude, and thanks for the support. We don't film much porcini content in the fall, but we DO have a ton of luck finding them on accident (ironically). Usually in Sep. at 2k-4k elevation in the backcountry

Cantarellus of the varieties: cibarius, lilaceopruinosa, alborufenscens etc., are very common throughout Europe and the north of the USA and Canada, even on many Mediterranean islands it is very abundant, especially in holm oak forests querqus ilex. On my island I have collected 12 kg in one morning. Congratulations, very nice.

@vicentcampsvilallonga nice dude! I believe these are C..formosus. But in California we love the CA golden chanterelle, and we've harvested rainbow and white chanterelles in the PNW as well.
Any luck with craterellus? We occasionally find craterellus tubiformus too, but I haven't had black trunpets in years!

I live in Menorca, the northernmost island of the Balearic Islands, and here this year we are having many chanterelles cibarius, var. lilaceopruinosa, are very similar to the ones you collect. C.cornucopioides does not reproduce on the island, but C.tubaeformis is also very abundant although rarely collected on the island.

@vicentcampsvilallonga tubaeformus is kinda a labor of love to collect, indeed. Do you have an Instagram where we can follow your awesome forays?

I'm sorry but I don't even have a cell phone and I don't have any social account, I only have a computer where I watch RUclips and people who show videos of their mushroom collections. Sometimes I comment on a video like yours if I find it interesting, but I don't take photos of my collections or show what I find in the forest. I'm 52 years old and I don't care too much about showing my customs.😅😁

I don’t believe I’d be comfortable with a cat in the woods. My choice if I wanted an animal with me would probably be a dog who could warn me if danger was imminent
