Very clearly presented - thanks! You are an excellent teacher. To track actual expenses, however, needs more explanation, for multiple stops at the grocery, for instance. Also, I’d like to track more expenses, such as deductions from paycheck, and more detailed expense categories. Can this be done on this spreadsheet? If so, how?

Can this monthly budget be shown as a complete year on one page (spreadsheet)? Hence, one could look at all off each months costs side by side? IF not then do you have a one page Jan through Dec template or video on how to make one? It would be nice to see how much was spent each month in each category on one spreadsheet. Also, one could look at a year by year comparison. Thanks for this video for just started my budget this past June and was surprised at some expenses that were forgotten.

BUT. How do you add a new item into the expenses list which the template doesn't have, I'm scared to mess up formulas!

I'm receiving payments form two different sources. From my web design projects and also from my place of work.
I'd love to know how I can plan it..
Normally I received payments last week of the month.
Should I start from the day I receive payments as the next spending cycle? Or the first day of the next month!
This is because, I would use the money I received in the last month as my budget for the next month! How can I best do this please.
