Still love this programme. I remember watching it when it aired in 1999 and thoroughly enjoyed it. I mentioned it to actress Emma Cooke (who played Arden), on her Instagram account, and she commented back to say that she was pleased I enjoyed the show. It holds many memories for me too as, it was the year my son was born and I was at the time, or certainly not long after, going through a rather turbulent time in my life. Shows like this on TV were brilliant entertainment and a great story to focus on . Brilliantly written and superb characters.
I was an extra in the school parts it was filmed in clayton at ravens bury school before was knocked down. Wasn't filmed in Eccles like it says hahah. Great show glad I found it again cheers
This is my 3rd time watching this series through... I don't ever remember it being on TV in Australia or the US. Thank you so much for the upload though, I absolutely adore it :)

I wish that one of my favourite books (The Morning Tide by Audrey Howard) had been filmed in the 1980s/90s, with Gillian Kearney as Jenny, and Tessa Peake-Jones as Kate.

This series took me right back to my teenage years in the area it's set in. Great to see it again. Such a fantastic cast.
