This is a favorite series of mine...this Australian production... NOT THE AMERICAN VERSION. I have already watched all 6 episodes ( the complete "Australian" series ) more than several times over the years. And everything about this production is excellent, in my opinion.

The crime rate is unbelievable or rather unbearable and sometimes unbeatable.. I don’t know how we’re capable of making it to another day.. mentally healthy.
The main character walks around with a look like a deer caught in the headlights all the time. He’s innocent but sure doesn’t look it
He is in shock. He totally panicked at the beginning of this episode. He was so upset! And then he just got plain scared.

All 3 versions were excellent
The husband and wife will soon be out of a job all because of this saga that surrounded them

I understand what the detective was coming from with the way Ben was acting
Every time Ben opened his mouth. It didn’t make sense and the detective check to see was if it was true or not.

Great series! It was a shame ABC cancelled it after the 2nd season. Juliette Lewis' performance was superb. Ryan's too. 😢
Made it to the end with a bit of skipping. It just makes no sense that the cops and media assume he did it, and his neighbours just turn on him so quickly. Really way too forced to engage me.
Absolutely. Just too unrealistic, even for fiction. As this episode progresses it just produces a mounting discomfort - "Really? Why would neighbours, or anyone, think that? Do the finders of evidence of serious crimes always have their lives ruined by it? Am I in fact wasting my time here?

Wow is stressful to be #1 suspect
Interesting. Acting good. Cinematography good. I know about taking the time to raise the level of suspense. But, a bit to slowly paced for my liking,
I saw this and the American version on a streaming service...I saw the New Zealand version first, so I figured, let me watch the the American version...and the US version changed the ending which was infuriating... very unsatisfying American version...stick with the New Zealand version....
A pity. Two of five episodes on this playlist are unavailable in my region. Why bother.

They did not reveal who did it. Waiting till the end but not cleared at the end. Waste
He is a painter that does not mean you have to act like you are half stupid half the time. Police harressment and you say nothing, that is when you speak with the press for example. Not sure where this is a going. It goes very slow and is little exciting. So far can not understand the IMDb score 7.5 on the serie, this episode was 4.0 max.
If he had smarts he wouldn't be painter. Harsh but true.

Trouble with this film is that it is virtually 100% devoid of drama. It hits the same beats over and over, and plays like a documentary, only less interesting than a documentary. Why spend 40 minutes showing the distress of a person unjustly suspected of murder? Nothing even remotely interesting happens until the last moment.
