Wow u guys really hate this song. I thought every single song on the album was dope as all hell. I don't think I've ever had an album where I loved every track. Barely alive seriously covered all edm areas in this album. Hard Dance, Neurofunk, 2 Trapstep songs, 2 hybrid trap songs (Binary is hybrid. Case closed) Full Flavor (Rough and Rugged had breakbeat, Bass House, Dubstep and I swear I heard Bounce) they also pleased me with some Electro, 2 Dubstep tracks and an unusual Deep House/Dubstep song that I swear has some Chillout vibes. Which is nearly impossible.
I think Barely Alive outdone theirselves with this album. Idk how they can top any of their songs on it because it's so good.
Exactly, they've covered all corners which isn't what they should of done. Who doesn't love BA for their hard and gritty Dubstep?! It's their signature, so an album should be signature. I'm not saying they should include other styles in the album, but for me I think there's not enough Dubstep. Too much hard dance, big room-ish, trap :/
But here's the thing. I bet a lot of people wanted more of their trap, electro, and stuff new like breakbeat, bass house, and even Chillout. I think this album has plenty of Dubstep to be honest

So many people shitting about Barely Alive, how they changed their style and now they're ,,shit,,. If you don't like it, just go listen to something else. You like dubstep, go listen to dubstep and don't bash on songs that have a different style. It is even in the title.
Fucking better than any of their dubstep. Hardly generic either. Still not worth any of the hype BA gets though.
I don't really appreciate what is happening with this album. People seem to be doing to BA what they tried to do to Knife Party when they released Abandon Ship and Trigger Warning. This is very high on the list of epic songs I've added to my library along with everything else on this album. If you don't like the new stuff, that's fine; you're entitled to your own opinion. But electronic music has such broad boundaries that I feel that it'd be terrible for music producers to only produce a certain number of styles because of the pressure of some of their fans, especially since more people are saying stuff like "dubstep is dead" and things like that. If this isn't the case, plz correct me, but I mean, come on guys; we need more of the new stuff, otherwise it WILL all die.

I am a massive fan of Barely Alive, but I can't help but feel a little underwhelmed by the album. For me the best two tracks were pre-released, Elephant and Hackers. Both of those tracks are that hard edgy dubstep that we know BA for, and I feel like the album needed more of that signature style. Don't get me wrong, it's a great varied album, it has the Barely Alive sound mixed in different styles, but most of the songs I feel are just ok. The tracks I think that stand out are Hackers, Rough and Rugged, Fireflies, Elephant, and No Time. I can only admit I expected a bigger, dubstepy-er, more Barely Alive album. But I will always love BA
