Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!
Thanks for taking time out of your Friday night to stop by!!
Do you only change the tensioner if the pulley is bad? I work on delivery step vans with Cummings engines and we pretty much change the tensioner with the belt.
Ive never had 2 change a tensioner on a 6.7 before
PowerStroke Tech Talk w/ARod interesting. I’ve had my 2011 F350 since new and it still has the original belt no damage or squeal after 211k miles. That has impressed me.
Thats awesome!!
I was just working on my brother-in-law’s truck his serpentine belt broke, and believe it or not there’s two separate belt configurations for the 6.7 diesel. Wtf ford
Did mine once...took almost all day lol
Omg.....lol
You're the only video on youtube that shows it... as far as I know :)
YES I AM!!!!!!!!!👍👌👊🤚😉😉😉
great vid.. thank you
Thank u
Dude you skipped right over how to take the tension off the belt, that was the only reason I came to watch this video
Watch thee other vide
I feel like if u cut it off and pull it'll be 10x faster removal.
That's cheating....
My dealer put on a double sided belt.... ribbed both sides..
Some take it, some dont..
Man ridiculously over engineered
How many miles on the old belt?
80k
I’m gonna really make your next belt removal 100 times easier once you release tension just cut the damn belt and it will pull right out
That's cheating son...
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod hmm I didn’t know being easier would be considered cheating go ahead and say that never crossed your mind lmao 🤣 🤨
@seanb2491 trust me it has but pulling it right out like you're suggesting doesn't help u pay attention to how it is supposed to be ran.
That's IS unless you know how it goes then eff what I said
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod I can agree to that 😉
Well, I won’t be doing that!
Looks like it would be easier to remove the motor then put the belt on.😛
Another reason to buy a 6.2 never have to deal with this nightmare.
@@natehawkins2910 The 6.7 is a engine you own it till the warranty is about to end then trade it off and buy a new truck. I work as an non certified mechanic I look at the 6.7 and think glad I never have to work on or own one. I own a 6.0 its the last diesel pickup I will ever own, for the kilometers I put on the truck now it will last me quite a few more years.
That looks like a pain in the ass
Thats exactly what I was thinking.
What a pain in the ass
POS trucks, ty for the guide tho
I've seen worse
Those batteries 🤮 lol
Another reason I would never buy a 6.7 powerstroke what a joke to change the belt.
Its just a belt. Took me 20 minutes, not a joke at all.
Amen ARod,! So glad you said that. Just a belt that rarely has to be changed is definitely a poor reason to not buy a 6.7. Extremely reliable, strong engine!
Love em!!
My 2011 6.7 has double sided belt and I can not get it on. looks like it is to short. Why is yours 1 sided ribs??? Thank you
Yup we can do it, but do you want to, NO.. Lol. Great Video as always, Thank you.
Great video thank-you
