Thank you SOOO much for the shout-out! I've been watching you since you started your flosstube and always enjoy your stitching and listening to all your updates! Your FFOs also look fantastic - love the Prairie Schooler one. Also - I will always vote for Elizabeth and pink, so that gets my vote for BAPtoSchool! :)
I’m so glad you left in the back of the Blackbird finish 😆 It would make a beautiful bag. Good luck with the beginning of the school year and thanks for all you do!
This is the first time I saw your flosstube. It showed up while I was watching RUclips probably on the algorithm because I was watching other flosstubes.
I absolutely love your channel. I think you should stitch the pink Elizabeth sampler. Pink is my favorite color and that sampler is just beautiful. Your stitching is just beautiful 🥰
Hi Cait, I so enjoy your videos! Wishing you a good year as you head back to work. Love all your stitching and the back of your work is so neat, Looked great!
WOW! You were a finishing fanatic! Love them... especially the picture frame you put your hoop in. The pillows are adorable. When I saw the Hope Sampler you started working on, I had to order the pattern. I love Emily Dickinson's poetry. She was one of my favorites in American Lit.
I love your conversion on Halloween at Hollyberry's border! So so pretty! Now you've got me wanting to start both of those, hahaha! So much to start, so little time. :)
I love your ring, it’s gorgeous!! Opal? Nice work on all of your FFO’s, always nice feeling completed ✅ I can’t wait to see progress on your nephews piece, it’s a beauty. I vote Sophia! Good luck on the new year back to school/work!
Your ffo’s look fantastic! Well done! My vote for your BAP is Mary Ann Diaper. You mentioned that you liked the verse. It’s my favorite of the 3, design wise. I’ve sent you 2 things from your wish list. I think the school social worker is such an important job. Have a great start to the year! Thanks for sharing xx
Oh my goodness, thank you so much Tricia! I will keep a look out in the mail. I'm so overwhelmed by the generosity of this community. 🥹 My students will put your gift to good use, I am sure! Mary Ann is so beautiful! I have a feeling that Elizabeth is going to win, but I will certainly be starting Mary Ann in the next year too :) Take care!
Hello! New viewer and new cross stitcher here :-) I found you through a simple Flosstube search on RUclips. My mom is a longtime stitcher and told me about this fabulous online community.
Your pattern with the blue and white flowers as the border; glad you changed the colors on that. I have a tutorial from someone about ironing your projects. I will have to look find and send it to you. Have a good night!😊
I’m a new follower and really enjoyed your Flosstube! I found you through the New Hampshire Stitcher and the Museum Stitcher. Looking forward to your next one!
Hi there, new subscriber 🙂 I think I learned about your channel from Lauren the New Hampshire stitchers ig. Happy to be here and thanks for sharing your projects with us
Your videos are always the best!! How is it the end of summer already? While I love the fall so much, summer is just so much more chill!! For ironing those hoop marks out, I use a spritz of water on the backside of my work and use a HOT iron on the linen setting. The biggest tip is to have a cushioning under your stitching. I always use a light coloured cotton bath towel folded into a square and then iron on that. I think the extra padding helps a lot with any stubborn hoop marks!!!
Oh my goodness I love your channel! The great news about showing us the back is that it was so beautiful we didn't even notice at first! I can't wait to see how your Holly Berry Farm piece comes along. I have them all in my pattern collection and need to get started on them 🥰
Loved all your finishes, you picked perfect frames. I think a lot of us where like wait is that the back, it looked so good it wasn’t obvious at first. I have a Flosstube and I just posted a new episode yesterday in wish I recommended a bunch of flosstubers I’ve been watching on maternity leave, your channel is one of them 😊
Your stitching is lovely and I am glad I found you on floss tube. I think your color choices on the Ink Circle are an improvement. I do liked the brighter colors. And your choice of fabric for the moon and stars is perfict.
That is a great idea for a birth sampler, I am excited to see your progress on it and the modifications. I am thinking of Sophia also for BAPtoSchool but I am so undecided, I have 4 I am trying to choose between. You are always on my must watch list
Yayyy the best Saturday night stitching company! 💗 All of your finishes are beautiful! I especially love the butterflies, the shadow box was such a good idea and my mind went to butterfly collection before you said that was your inspo, so you nailed it! Definitely with you on the BAP to school indecision, there are so many great options. Elizabeth has my vote, I love those shades of pink and the birds. 😊 Wishing you a great start to the new school year! 💕
Thank you so much, Hannah :) I think Elizabeth is going to win....I may have just gone over to Vicky Clayton and bought the silks 🤫. I appreciate you watching, friend! Can't wait for your next update!
Great job with all of the FFO's, they look great. I really like the idea of choosing from your WIP's with little starts. I always think of going for the ones closest to a finish, but getting all of them well established is a great idea and seems like it would make them easier to just pick up again later.
Love the finishes, and everything you showed! The swan one is so special, and love that hoop frame. Also love the “baby sampler” you chose for your nephew. It’s great to find something that will represent the parents and the baby. I’m sure they’ll love it! Also very tempted to stitch along on Pink Sparrow Sampler
I love my Book of Days too! Such great progress on finishing! I vote for Elizabeth Weston.. she is sooo pretty! Oh and I love the Pink Sparrow Sampler too!
Love watching your channel!! I have a flosstube as well that my daughtrrs & I do. Wish I could help on the ironing issue but I don't use hoops so I'm.not sure ❤❤
Cait, I recently discovered your floss tube. I’m so glad I did. Lovely stitching. Thank you for all you do at school. I know it is not easy but overall very rewarding. A very honorable career. Take care and I’m glad you have stitching to do when school gets overwhelming. My thoughts are with you. Yes, I’m a retired teacher. 😅
I'm so glad you've found me! Thank you so much for the well wishes for the school year. I know you get it, haha. It's rewarding, but exhausting. Thank goodness for the little breaks tucked in throughout the year! Take care :)
Cute pillow finishes!! Spray the back side of fabric with Mary Ellen's Best Press, it's sold at Joann's (use a coupon). I kept saying flip it, you're showing the Back 😄 "Albarium" 👍is a type of stucco, using a lime material (calcium oxide) and heating powdered marble to make a type of stucco. Another nice video!!!
Hi there…this is my first visit. I am a new flosstuber and am specifically looking for people with ten or less videos…I want to support other new presenters and want to learn from them too. I will be back. I use a hoop however I do not leave the hoop on the fabric for more than an hour or so…I move it around to prevent fabric memory from setting in and I remove it every time I walk away. For me prevention is best because I am like you, I can’t fully get them out or they gradually return over time.
Your FFO’s were amazing and v inspiring. Good luck with school starting - I go back to teaching at a university tomorrow!🤪 thanks for a fun flosstube 💜
Lovely stitching. Nephew's moons... The night sky is black. That gray with stars is so cool, but not for this project. You want your focus on the moons and the writing. Just a thot. Have a wonderful school year. Your kids are heart breakers. I'm sure you help to make their lives easier.
I think that's a really great point! And as I've been looking at the colors closer, I think the grays would just blend too much and the moons wouldn't stand out. Chalkboard it is! I'm excited to start it. Thank you so much for your kind words! :)
I hope it is working now! I think you may have watched just as it went live and it was still processing in HD. Let me know if you continue to have issues! :)
Thanks for the update .. the sound is working well now. I must have tried while it was still processing. Great video .. loved seeing all of your projects!
I am so glad you found it funny that you showed the back. Most of us watching probably spent some minutes telling you to turn it around, lol.
You're so welcome! Can't wait for your next update :) I think Elizabeth is going to win!!
@@cross_stitch_cait1 Yes! Elizabeth for the win! :)
You know Elizabeth gets my vote!!! 🩷🤍💚
🥰
I’m so glad you left in the back of the Blackbird finish 😆 It would make a beautiful bag.

Elizabeth is my favorite of the 3!
It's so pretty! Thanks for your comment!!
I just love all of your FFOs, but I think the swan is my favorite.
Thanks so much - it really did turn out so cute! Take care :)
Have a great start to new school time., thanks for the visit

I think you should put the gorgeous butterfly finish in your office at school!! Your finishes are so beautiful. Congrats on getting them done!
Thank you! And I did bring my butterflies to my office at school and it brightens up my space for sure :) Take care!
I absolutely love your channel. I think you should stitch the pink Elizabeth sampler. Pink is my favorite color and that sampler is just beautiful. Your stitching is just beautiful 🥰
Thank you, Heather!! :) I think Elizabeth is in the lead! 🙃
Congrats on all the FFOs! Great video! It was nice to catch up with you. 😊
Thank you!! 😊
Great finishes. Everything looks amazing!

Even the back of the sampler looks great!!
Haha, thank goodness it did, you all sure got a good look at it 😂. Thank you for watching!! :)
Hi Cait, I so enjoy your videos! Wishing you a good year as you head back to work. Love all your stitching and the back of your work is so neat, Looked great!
Thank you so much, Colleen! Hope you're well!
WOW! You were a finishing fanatic! Love them... especially the picture frame you put your hoop in. The pillows are adorable. When I saw the Hope Sampler you started working on, I had to order the pattern. I love Emily Dickinson's poetry. She was one of my favorites in American Lit.
Thank you so much! Oh, I'm so glad you that picked up the Hope Sampler - it's just beauitful. Happy Stitching!
Hey, definitely start, Sophia! I love that red!😊
It's such a lovely piece! I have half a mind to start a few of them this month...
I would pick Elizabeth. So pretty.
So pretty!
I love your conversion on Halloween at Hollyberry's border! So so pretty! Now you've got me wanting to start both of those, hahaha! So much to start, so little time. :)
Isn't that the truth! :)
I love your ring, it’s gorgeous!! Opal? Nice work on all of your FFO’s, always nice feeling completed ✅ I can’t wait to see progress on your nephews piece, it’s a beauty. I vote Sophia! Good luck on the new year back to school/work!
Thank you so much!! Yes, it is an Opal - it was my grandmother's ring - it's a very sentimental piece :) Take care and happy stitching!
Your ffo’s look fantastic! Well done! My vote for your BAP is Mary Ann Diaper. You mentioned that you liked the verse. It’s my favorite of the 3, design wise. I love the Sophia sampler!
I love it too!! ❤️
Referred by New Hampshire Stitcher! Loved the video.
Oh, great! Lauren is the best 🥰
Your pattern with the blue and white flowers as the border; glad you changed the colors on that. I have a tutorial from someone about ironing your projects. I will have to look find and send it to you. Have a good night!😊

Great idea for the birth sampler!
Thank you! 😊 I'm excited to see how it will come together :)

Awesome! Thank you!
Enjoyed watching your WIPS, new starts and plans for September samplers. I am also working on the 2 Hollyberry's - you're gonna love them
Thank you, Rosana! I just recently discovered your Flosstube and it was an instant subscribe - you work on such beautiful things! :) Take care!
@@cross_stitch_cait1 aww thank you hun- 🫶🏻
I would love to see you start Elizabeth Weston!! The colors in this sampler are amazing.
They're so beautiful!

Great tip, Lindsay! I will try that!! ❤️
I have a small start on Elizabeth Weston and I LOVE it.
I'm thinking Elizabeth is going to win! It looks like so much fun to work on!
You could put the butterflies in your classroom or office
That's a really good idea. I do need to bring some cross stitch into my work world, I think :)
I use Mary Ellen’s Best Press when I iron my finishes. It really works great!
Thanks for the tip!
Elizabeth gets my vote. But I'd do it on lavendar
Ooh, that's an idea! I'm having the hardest time deciding on a fabric!
For me, I'd start Mary because the fabric is a cheery colour for winter stitching ;)
That's a great point! It really is a cheery chart. Thanks for commenting!
You could place the Halloween piece in your office as a demonstration of onomatopoeia.

Thank you so much! I think as I get more completed with that Ink Circles piece it will all come together :) Take care!
That is a great idea for a birth sampler, I am excited to see your progress on it and the modifications. I am thinking of Sophia also for BAPtoSchool but I am so undecided, I have 4 I am trying to choose between. You are always on my must watch list
I think the simple solution is to just start multiple BAPs, right? haha. Thanks, Erin! You're the best! 🥰

I loved this video with all your gorgeous finishes!
Thank you! It was so fun to have finishes to show off! I appreciate you watching and commenting!
Sophia gets my vote; those reds are gorgeous. The HATS samplers look so similar to so many other samplers. Happy Stitching.
Those reds are STUNNING - you're right! Decisions, decision... :)

Elizabeth for your BAP SAL ❤ love the pinks and I haven’t even done a pink sampler yet but this one is beautiful! It’s just the right amount of pink ❤
I'm leaning in that direction - it really is beautiful! :) Thank you so much for watching!

I use a spray mister for Best Press. It works great.
I also use Best Press, found in the sewing notions at my JoAnn’s. Just be sure to get the clear (and not any of the colored) solutions.

You have to take the hoop off every day. That is why I like Q qsnaps.
Lovely stitching. Nephew's moons... The night sky is black. That gray with stars is so cool, but not for this project. You want your focus on the moons and the writing. Just a thot. Have a wonderful school year. Your kids are heart breakers. I'm sure you help to make their lives easier.
