Who the hell is Ironhead Sally? Well here's my channel description:
Old School Bikes and Old School Ways! Ride hard, wrench a lot, and always having a blast.
Bike camping, wrenching, and shenanigans. My husband and I create motorcycle content for people that are tired of seeing all of the fake insta accounts of sponsored boring yuppies. Here's some realness, we are just broke bikers living the low life and getting by. I ride a 1985 Ironhead Chopper as my daily, my touring bike is a 1984 FXR. We have lots of Ironheads and FXRs and are constantly building more, trying to keep these old neglected scoots on the road instead of rotting away in a garage.
Appreciate all the love & support

I'm a biker who has been tent camping for 37 years. Only half those on a Harley because I was poor biker trash and Harley's were too damn expensive in the 90's. At least I haven't been without a bike since my first in 1987. Heck I was using the same trapper lean-to tent until just a few years ago.
I have needed to add a little camp cot as I got older, can't sleep on the ground anymore but I'm still out doing my thing.
Not Dead Yet
Thats freakin awesome! Livin it with whatever u got! And honestly the camp cots we bought were a game changer, sleep like a baby on the road! Cheers to still doing it 😁💚✌️💯🏁💥
@@ironheadsallywhat are the camp cots you guys are talking about? I have a foam pad role and a big got that folds up into a bag. The fold up one is a bit big to tie onto a bike, I think. It would be cool to see what you guys are referring to
@@whatyoumakeofit6635 heres an ebay link: www.ebay.com/itm/266414410358?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Y32Ir_LeSfK&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=qdvfyifhq1g&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
they break down pretty small, i just tie it on top of my bag. Works great and has lasted us a buncha trips!
@@mikeskidmore6754 I have a King Camp, it's a bit more expensive than some of the other Amazon cots but I think it's better built. They have a short and tall version. You need one that breaks down into parts rather than folds. It just straps to my sissy bar.
I also bought a little tent that goes on top of the cot but it's new so I haven't had a chance to try it yet.
I figured when traveling I could just pop the cot up with little tent real quick. Then when I reach my destination I would put my big tarp up to have shade and shelter from the rain for me and the bike.
I'm the same dude, got a hip, a knee and a shoulder. I'm like a rotisserie chicken at night. 😆
I'm from Roswell, retired from BLSP. Hope you enjoyed your stay. I'm afraid I'm a riceburner rider from the 1960's, though, so don't hate me too much. My most memorable trip was Roswell to Laguna Seca (for motorcycle races) and back. Heavy rain hammered me almost all the way across AZ that year. On the way back, I had a flat near a tourist stop in the Petrified Forest area. I used my can of sealer/inflator to get me back to the tourist stop. Fortunately for me, an American Indian, name of Bernard (?!) was there doing business. Although he was in a car, he was a rider himself. Helped me get my wheel off and drove me all the way to Holbrook, where an automotive tire store fixed the flat, and then drove me all the way back. Needless to say, nice guy is an understatement. I gave him all the cash i had except for a few bucks for gas to get me back to Roswell. Ain't it cool when you happen across somebody like that?
Glad to see there are still people that enjoy the simple things in life
All we have are the simple things 🤣 everything else is stressful bs lol!
Hi you guys "safe travels" I camp and on my bike if I camp in the woods I tie a rope to my front wheel and through the tent tied to my ankle, that way I sleep comfortably ha thanks again for making me smile
Wow thats a smart idea! 😁 Thats what makes it so hard to sleep at motels, not being in arms reach of the scoot!! lol
@@ironheadsally well Sally I'll tell ya if I'm on the road for a few days ,and get that motel cravin' I wait till like 9pm when everyone 's a 💤sleeping an roll my boy right on inn.sometimes ya get caught Rollin out but then it's to late.
Mostly the bikes are safe ,,but what's in our heads can't b stopped.lanlol nice to coraspond with good people look forward to your next one .ps good luck with the culture shock of coming back into SOCIETY..
Beautiful spot . So peaceful.
Awesome!!!
I do same Riding camping doing since 2007 !!!!
I Love it!!!
🤘🏽🎶🤘🏽🎶🤘🏽🍺🎼🎵
🤩🦅💚💯🏁 awesome!! Thanks for watching!
I'm too old to sleep on the ground anymore. You kids look like you had a good vacation. Cool video
They make cots that pack small enough for the bike nowadays. I use a cot with an air mattress on top. My back can't take sleeping on the ground.
Hell we are spoiled with all the stuff and crap we take camping 🤣 the cots and blankets, lol definitely not roughing it
@@ironheadsally I maybe to old to sleep on the hard ground but I refused to give up my hardtail Sporty chop. I will never be old enough for a Geezer Glide. 😆
@@jameshill8498 💪🤩 hell to the yasssss lol

You guys are living the dream! Have fun and be safe👍👍
Great video!!!! Made me reminisce of days gone by!! Thinking back to the early 80s, I think that bike rally was $40 back then. That's why we didn't go then. Lol
Wow $40 in the 80s to go do that? Couldn’t imagine the turn out lol but that was some beautiful riding up in there!! Cant wait to go back when everyone is gone so we can really play in them twisties 😜
Beautiful area! You guys are doing it right.
Great videos ! Keep it up 👊
So glad I found your channel. Love what you are doing because it is what I love to do as well. Love my evo and shovel head.
Bike camp every chance I get. Keep up the good work on the videos.
💚🦅🏁😁 our kinda people!! Cheers to bike camping and freedom
Look’s like a good time 👍🏻
I'm disappointed it is all over as I'm sure you guys are too. Really great to come along for the ride with you. Thanks for all the editing you do for these vids. Look forward to your next update on your trip through life. Cheers from down under 🇦🇺 Stan.
🥰😜💚🏁💯💥 thanks Stan! Yes always hard to get back to he grind after a trip, but more planning to come. Cheers!
Loved this series!!! Would love to see more bike trips on the frugal side of things
Glad u liked it!! Thanks for watching! Back to work so we can do more 💚😜
8:00 Thumbs up for lil Smokies 👍🏻
74years old blanket and ground cover is all I need
Dang! U beat me on that one 💪 im a spoiled millennial chic, unless im drunk, i need more than a blankie lol 🤣😂😂
Love your videos...ride on!❤
My everyday ride is a 22 ultra limited and not having the wind is killing me. I miss it so much
Miles n miles of smiles man...... 🍻... cheers, cool place
Beautiful Scenery thank you.
You guys are awesome.✌️
😁 appreciate ya watching!! Cheers and ride free
Took the Softail out for a ride today. It was 78 in the Springs today 👍 I’m refreshing my old Dodge. Bought my 72 Dodge Demon new and still have her. 👍 Nice ride out there. Thanks for sharing !!!
Ooh sweet, ride safe this weekend, lots of events going on over there. And thats awesome, take care of them and they last! Cheers
Lincoln County Wild Bunch here ...Welcome to my County 👊😎👍 hope you had a great stay ..you guys camp and ride like we do ..good job
Man that was some awesome riding up in them mountains to the desert floors, surprisingly green. U sure have a pretty area to live in, we will definitely be back to explore more 😁💚💯🏁💥
runs are better than rallies. The week before thunder beach in panama city fl, we were all sitting around my bro's with a fire and beer having a blast, i asked my bros "why do we need to ride 200 miles to just watch baggers all weekend and spend 6 bucks a beer sitting around each other like we are doing right now for almost nothing?" lol
Exactly! I wonder how many rallies started like that with a group of bros having a good time and then morphed into the vendor village corporate sponsored snooze fest? If theres not cheap beer and cheap women, what’s the allure? We can all party with our buds anywheres 😜🤘
@@ironheadsally i laugh every time i see the signs that say "welcome bikers"...other than the few club riders, there's hardly any "bikers" there anymore
I ride a Road Glide and i never stay in motels, usually never pay for camping either....free campsites or middle of nowhere offroads ... strictly tent. I can carry everything i need on the bike for 2 weeks that includes most of my food ( i used to do a lot of backpacking so i carry compact and light and easy food)... only thing i really buy is water and fuel!
That’s awesome!! Super smart knowing the tricks u learned from backpacking to apply to bike camping, sounds like u got a sweet system. Stay safe and ride free 😁
Great video, enjoy. 😊
I ride an 02 FLHR and camp off my scoot all the time. I also take 2 weeks and ride wherever with no reservations except for the 5 days I attend/work The Smokeout.
Thats the life man! How fun, i always wanted to hit the smokeout, looks like one of the last bigger rallies that aint lost its way!
Right in my back yard
That’s quite a purrty backyard scenery thru there!
🤘 Livin !!
💚😜🤘 the dude abides!
Come to chama I got 3 acres free camping
Me too
Wooot good to know! We rode thru chama too, such beautiful views!! We just blasted thru so would be nice to explore more down there
MFr, you don't know how much this video means to me...
"We're holding on by a thread"
And thats some stressful shit, but im 59, been working since i was 14 and im just done and tent camping in New Mexico with someone you love sounds like heaven.
Im about to "semi-retire" and live the old dirtbag cash only jobs until i die. Its scary shit, but being happy is more important.
Great video. Raw and beautiful.
Man i really appreciate that! Everyone says u gotta work and be miserable, but that dont sound as fun. Theres no life like the low life right? 😜 We just talked about that, hanging with squares and trying to “fit in” to society, its not worth our sanity! Good luck on dirtbaggin and getting by! Atleast u’ll be working for yourself when and how u want 💪🤩 most cant say that, so cheers to u and ur new adventures!!
❤❤❤❤
👍👍👍👍👍
I refuse to pay someone to ride with others ! HD has lost their way it seems. You 2 kids are doing it right , and because of people like you the culture will remain for the time being.
We really appreciate that! 😁🦅💚🏁💯 ride free
👍😉
No rooms for this Cowboy. 😎
A hotel where you don't get hepatitis for less than 70 bucks... That's too funny.
😜 we all been there, those motels that still have shag rug 🤣
North west Ar. got hit with Twisters. I think pig trail ride is still ok.
Oh no, more! Been some crazy rough weather in the middle parts lately!
I’m in NWA as well.
Safe Journey you 2! Enjoy.
🤘😁🤘
😁😜😁💯💯🏁💥

Great Video!!! I have always wondered about bottomless lake campground. Do you think it would be safe enough to leave your camp set up to run to town? safe ridin rubber down
Absolutely! We camped at the Devil’s Inkwell area so not by everyone else at the big swimming lake (which u need reservations for even in a tent spot). But we left our camp gear all day to ride (10am to 7pm) and no one touched it, all good. One thing tho, the raccoons were climbing all over my bike at night to get some spare jerky so just beware of that, but they were friendly and fat! 🤣
@@ironheadsally That's a riot!! And a thief I can deal with!!!!!!!!! safe ridin rubber down
You are going to have to change your channel to EVO Sally. LOL. Good memories. Just curious though, what do you do about your pets at home, do ya'll have someone take care of them? Peace
My name and what i ride dont matter man, the channel is about riding and living. I’ve said before the fxr is the touring bike and the ironhead is my daily. The dogs couldnt get the time off work, they still have jobs to do at the farm so they stay 🤣
@ironheadsally just razing you on the name. I love EVOs. As far as the pets , I was wondering about feeding them. Do you have someone come feed them or what. I gonna be doing some longer road trips hopefully here in the near future and just wondering. Peace.
Wo ist der LKW für all die Dinge die ihr dabei habt ?
LoL, we sure packed a lot on those 2 bikes! Lots of trial and error and bungee straps!
