The first pack of cigarettes I bought was malboro red (at 14), I smoked three (not my first cigarettes) and they gave me terrible nausea and a migraine. I've never touched a malboro red since.
This is definitely a better podcast then most. You can only listen to comedians bullshit so much before it becomes more of the same no matter what comedian you're listening to. I wonder how much Kelly, Jack, and Forest make? Like can that 5 minute sponsor section really pay them enough, let alone Jim
Im surprised by the price in Australia i felt like it had gone down a lot lately. I work in hospitality at a bowling club and ever since covid we've seen a massive increase in usage of coke. Usually middle aged tradies and the like
Yes, and as to why people ‘cut’ coke w fent, as a Vancouverite, I understand it to be just cross contagion, when dealers offer different strokes to different folks and they aren’t on top of their game...
Argentina and Brazil used to be only routes where to send drugs from Colombia to Europe. In every country there are criminal organizations, polititians, border control personel, ecc involved on cocaine trafficking. The reason why that geographic area is problematic is greed. Traffickers need the area to produce coca, polititians and companies (most of them multinational) wish to control the area in order to exploit natural resources. In the end, none of them have honest citizens interests in mind. It's all about business. Cocaine comes from the coca plant which is used by indigenous people in Bolivia on a daily basis since it helps you stand the high altitude in the country. What some people don't get is the fact that farmers have been forgotten for a long time as the author explained. They're in the middle of a conflict, unprotected without the basic and trying to survive. In Argentina cocaine is now being produced. One of the processes to convert coca into cocaine is done here. According to 2006 data there were 80 illegal labs. The drug isn't consumed by the lower classes but the richest. Poor addicts consume pasta base which is basically the residue left when producing cocaine plus any other toxic substance which can be added. It's worse than cocaine since its effect on the addict are seen in a few months and affects vulnerable neighborhoods.
In France, at least until a few years ago, smoking Marlboro red cigarettes was so common that most kids who started smoking started with them because they didn’t know any other brand
*The podcast has a good format;* stick with it. RE: Jack. He strikes me as a fine young man. Kelly & Forrest also come off as good folk, as does, Jim; to be fair. Perhaps, Jim is more open-wounded than the others, but, that's probably the root of his comedy success. *P.S. Forrest does strike me as a good lad, but, then again, I wouldn't be shocked if a pile of bones belonging to young females were discovered under his house in 50 years, the stinger being; the bones will have been GNAWED UPON!*
I think that if cocaine was legalized you would see Coca Wine and 'Real Coke' making a comeback more than you would see sales of inhalable or smokable cocaine. Some of each, but 'energy drinks' would predominate. (much less risk of overdose with a drink that has a 'coffee-like'' concentration of cocaine in it.)

The real cause of the problem is the demand for drugs and not all that much the supply. If you were to have a society with prosperity, strong social and medical support, you would see less people resorting to drugs. Now of course there will always be a group that will take and want drugs no matter what, even if they are well off or otherwise don't have problems. But even that is a Form of escape.

"You don't know JACK shit" is an awesome name.
I agree, Jack did cut Jim deep. Love these guys.
Jack roasting was the best 5 minutes of this show so far 😂😂😂😂 I almost passed out from laughing so hard
