- This was a full A to Z build we did for a client here in Colorado this past summer. The focus was a rig that can cover long distances and being capable on road and off-road. The goal was achieved and the client is back home enjoying the rig as his daily driver and now favorite vehicle.

Tyler and the guys at Nomad built this rig for me. They were amazing to work with from start to finish. Their workmanship is top notch and they stand by it. Could not be happier with the ways this turned out. Thanks again Tyler and nice video.
Mark, Glad to hear you’re loving the rig and thank you for the kind words! Keep us posted on your move and definitely stay in touch.
Amazing Truck! Going to try and fumble out my question. lp6 pro led, clear lens driving / combo with amber backlight looks to be the spots in the video. Is that correct?... and why did you decide to switch back to SAE. Cheers. Enjoy the rig.
Hi Shawn, The client will hopefully respond to give his input as well. These large builds really do have feedback from the clients on every single aspect of the build. We do this to make each large build a true one off for the owner. The Baja Designs LP6 aux lights on the bumper are the driving/combo option. The thought behind going back to the SAE fog lights is to be able to legally run them on the road while still giving off plenty of light. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
Nice car
Yes. LP6 lights on bumper are driving combo. The light bar on the rack is for long range illumination so better to be up above the brush for a long cast. Living at 10,000 feet in the rockies, we get a lot of snow storms and the fog lights really help a lot with that.
Dissent bumpers really transform the look and functionality of the 200
They are one of our favorite options for the 200/LX570, 4Runner and now GX460
Superb build! Wow…. And a great video too. Well done Tyler. Always fun to see what Nomad is doing.
Appreciate it Christian and hope all is well. Definitely a fun build.
Awesome. Can't wait till you start my GX build!
Going to be a cool GX
200s are the best. Only problem is fuel consumption. I only get 13 or 14 mpg with mine (fat 34s and a Victory4x4 rack). Less in city driving. With all that extra weight this one is probably around 10 mpg. Oww.
They are very well built and capable, but also very thirsty vehicles. A regear can actually help your mpg and something to consider. That being said, it will get great mpg.
who TF buys an LC and even *mentions* gas mileage?!? "Man, I love my swimming pool but every time I get in I get WET! I've already had to replace three phones!"
Great vid & awesome rig!
Can you give some details about roof rack? Is it also a dissent product? Do you have any close ups of it?
The rack is from ARB which is another item we forgot in this video. It features a Baja Designs Chase light in the rear along with a 40” Baja Designs S8 light bar in the front along with custom made light brackets.
You probably don't have time to me tell the specifics of the light bar on this truck. Looks like an Onx6+ with driving/combo light pattern and clear lens color...
Good morning, the light bar on the rack is a 40" Baja Designs S8. We had to make custom brackets to get it to fit since it is larger than the ARB light bars. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any further questions.
Do you think 265/70/18 tires is a good idea on a 200 series?
Nothing wrong with the size and it does fit well with a slight lift. We actually just did this on another clients 2020 LC 200.
could you share what light bar it has? thanks
Good morning, The light bar on the rack is a 40" Baja Designs S8 Spot. We made custom mounts in house to work with the ARB rack since it is larger than the ARB light bar option. Let me know if you have any other questions. - Tyler
What seat covers?
Seat Covers are from Escape Gear out of South Africa. The fit and finish is the best we've come across. There's plenty done to this rig that I'm sure I missed a few other things in the video.
I’m calling this SUV the stuck what is the weight bet it gets stuck everywhere it goes I have a 2005 4 runner you don’t need all that weight to overland 😮😮😮
Good English. I think I understand what you are trying to say and you are correct that you don't need any of this. That being said, there are a lot of creature comforts and improvements to the rig if it ever did get stuck. It drives better than it did stock and likely better than your 2005 stock 4Runner. To each their own, but this is a very well built rig and a very happy client.
The 2005 SR5 4 runner with 400,000 miles V/S 9K pound fancy overland which one gets to the finish line 🏁 😊😊😊 PS if you want to reach 400K lose the weight.
All good. It sounds like you have a great rig that is serving you well. You are trying to bag on something that you really don’t understand. A full build is not for everybody and there is nothing wrong with stock. Your vehicle is what you want, but many want to build their’s out. The mods on this build are thought out to the point it is under the payload. Some people prefer a ground tent or even just a pad and duffle as a pillow and that’s it. This vehicle is much more comfortable and capable than you think and yes the 200 is better built even than a 2005 4Runner. That being said, there is nothing wrong with a 2005 4Runner which is a great vehicle. You get what you pay for.
Did you have to relocate the KDSS?
Good morning, KDSS stayed where it is in the front. There are kits to move it forward if necessary, but we prefer to keep it where it is.
@@nomadoutfittersthanks for replying.
Absolutely! Feel free to reach back out with any questions.
