      Thank you. Even a year ago my personality hadn’t come out yet. It’s there now. 😁 Also some of the editing is getting figured out.

    I greatly appreciate everything you do! I am brand new to kart racing. Just starting out. I have a favor. Could you make one condensed video about all the terms, like duro and stuff. Sometimes when y’all say those terms in videos I have no idea what your talking about haha. If you have explained in a video I haven’t seen yet let me know!

      I’ll try and write down some terminology for beginners to understand. Good idea.

    I have always used a rachet strap to help set bead. Same concept just less surface area.

    • @kart6t3_ben
      @kart6t3_ben  Год назад

      That works for certain

      Thinking about it I think the tire band is more for safety than it is to help set the bead. I feel like an idiot. Sorry

      @@lesnewjr I make due with less optimal things sometimes.

    Thanks for the informative video on tires! Quick question! Last season I had all my tires cut and prepped! This year I'm just scuffing off the shine and prepping. Your thoughts? Thanks!

      I’d say that’s what I’d do. Clean em up and reprep when your ready.

    Question: You prep inside and outside then go racing. Before the next week race would you start the complete process over again internally and externally?

    • @kart6t3_ben
      @kart6t3_ben  Год назад

      No. Internal is usually only once per the life of the tire. Cleaning and wiping for the following week is normal.

    Thanks for your videos. New to open class running 450R would you ever recommend beadlocks?

    • @kart6t3_ben
      @kart6t3_ben  Год назад +1

      I’ve seen them used but I’ve never tried myself. If your especially heavy on say your RR that might be a good place to try them. The 450s and Jawas can be hard on the Right side tires for certain.

    How would you know before the tires go to prep bound?
    Or could this ever happen?

    • @kart6t3_ben
      @kart6t3_ben  2 года назад

      Yes some tires get that way. Burris to me are the most susceptible to it. They just don’t drop easy and become sluggish. Imo. I don’t know how you would tell before it happens though.
