I’d like a behind the scenes series after this is done, talking about Torque GT, its daily operation and it’s staff. And even a trip to Japan to see what goes into the process of importing all the fantastic cars you do!

Absolutely loving the series, great humour and nice seeing something getting a full nut and bolt rebuild. Awesome subject matter. I hope you do many more videos like this on other motors in the future 👍👌.

Hey guys. I'm new to your channel and just wanted to say I'm loving this series so far. I'm not a huge Japanes car fan, I've never owned a Subaru but this series is REALLY good! Just super interesting so see how everything is done. Keep it up 😊
Guru Josh Project - Infinity 2008 wow that brings back memories! It was my favorite song back in the day! Awesome reference I did not see coming at all. Well I live in the United States so not many used to be interested in this kind of music back in the day. Anyways good work here the P1 is in good knowledgeable hands! This will be a gem once it’s complete. I always felt like stock is so special! Mods only ruin the look and as everyone finally knows now the value plummets.
I want a fully restored GC8 RSTI, and a fully restored S13. Both with massive suspension and brake upgrades. And around 300-350 hp. And a M3 CS, and a GT3RS. That’s my “modest” dream garage❤️
Keep the content coming fast and the channel will continue to blow up mate rebuilding content is every car guys dream to watch and what better than a SUBARU
I cannot believe the bushings weren't seized to those lateral link bolts, haha... I had to cut it into multiple sections and *burn them out* with a torch when I did the wheel bearing on my bugeye WRX (which was only ~12 years old at the time). And yes - it literally added days to the project. It was more rust than car when I finally decided to sell it off a couple years later. Breaking a dozen parts in order to replace a single one starts wearing on you... 😣
I am loving the P1 content! Making me really want to strip my 2000 Limited Edition down and do the same, or just import a 2 door RS shell from the states and do a mock P1 or 22B style... Both cost about the same :')
Does Guru Josh stock work gloves 🧤? 😂🤣 Great Series, can’t wait to see the progress. The next rebuild needs to be something Honda based, EK9, DC2 something like that. Or a mint 5th Gen Type S Prelude?
very nice reminds me alot when i did the rear wheel bearings on my sti type r :D i used a hub puller and then pressed out the bearing. i now have tubeframe front and rear subframes which i have to install^^ some more details about the chassie/shell would be really cool
Impreza is my favourite car ever. Infinity by Guru Josh is my favourite track ever. Both are in this video. Believe in Miracles amigos.. Its a beautiful world
Just a bit of info; You will need the Genuine Subaru Impreza STi 98-00 Red Inverted Struts. UK Dealers still have them according to the P1 groups. The biggest problem will be finding the red springs. They were made by eibach to Prodrives specs, no other STi had them and they are long out of production.
Very enjoyable as always. Spy a nice BP5 in the background too, along with that Datsun. Would have like to have heard the pajero Evo start up if possible?
I hope you're using *dry ice + IPA*(to make slushy), poured on the sound deadning, instead of spending hours trying to remove it using other ways. This way, you can remove it within the hour, maybe less. Clean removal with no marks left behind.
Watching this restoration with interest. I have a one owner totally standard p1and I’m debating whether to go down this route or leave totally un molested. It’s not concourse but it is totally bog stock and that may possibly be more valuable in the future ? Any thoughts ?
I’d leave it in original condition. (Assuming it’s not rotten) It would be lovely to restore/ refresh it but one in original good condition is better in my opinion.
